Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN for 44 years. OMG where has that time gone! ELVIS WAS and STILL IS my HERO. As a kid he had is own "style" His clothes were so different and he was bullied at school for this but those other kids were just JEALOUS ELVIS SANG LIKE NO OTHER - his voice was "BEAUTIFUL" cannot think of any other word ELVIS HAD STAGE PRESENCE ELVIS HAD AN "AURA" ABOUT HIM THE ENTERTAINMENT VALUIE WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE HE HAD THAT WIGGLE AND THAT JIGGLE HE HAD THAT SWAG ELVIS WOULD just MOVE his LEG/S A LITTLE OR HIS HIPS A LITTLE AND THE WOMEN WOULD SCREAM HE HAD SO MUCH CHARISMA That note he read was probably from some woman giving him her telephone number -NO MOBILE TEXTING 50 + YEARS AGO I pity those people in the audience who had to go to the BATHROOM

We became friends instantly and Elvis didn't make friends very easily he sometimes felt some were only after something and he was right. You probably didn't know this but Elvis had severe stage fright but he found a way to deal with it and gave everything he had to every performance. I saw him a few weeks before he passed it broke my heart, he told me kiddo everything will be ok but it wasn't okay at all. He gave me a little kiss on the cheek i said i love ya E. i always called him E. he got a big kick out of it he said love ya too kiddo and that was the last time i saw my friend alive. i was 17 yrs old. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. i will love and miss my friend forever.

We all love Elvis. Looking back now the music world did not know what it had. That's why July 31st 1969 they did not record opening night. This man not only dared to rock in the 50s but also showed his love for God. Very special. It's so crazy...all the music award shows and Elvis never got to walk on stage to except an award. Could you imagine Elvis doing Polk Salad Annie on the music awards....wow...unmatched!

He’s not out on drugs goodness. Get your facts right. He used notes to remember lyrics all the time. This was part of a documentary where he was interviewed before the show and he’s as lucid as ever. This is simply him at the peak of his comeback. Thank you

Wow some people Elvis didn’t even drink alcohol and his prescription problems really didn’t begin til closer to late 75-77 time frame. This is normal Elvis if you would have followed his career and loved him like we have for 45 years you would know this!!!
