Subbed! Freedom of music expression. That's one of Elvis "superpowers". Elvis had something that they just cant teach in music education. Voice coaches, Professors with doctoral degrees in Music, professional musicians al say the same thing. No one had THAT MANY gifts in a single human being. Of all his gifts, you touched on something almost everyone misses, his ability to express himself through the freedom of music expression. His pores literally OOZED the music he was performing on stage. Maybe THAT, along with being TRUE to who you are, is the gift most sharable and learnable, at least to some achievable degree.
It's called the God Gift!

And this was a story about his childhood and you can tell he meant it but he also had fun with it at the same time. What are unique individual. I am a musician and very open to new music and listen to a lot of it but when you come back and watch something like this, you realize, there's no real post production on it, no auto-tune for sure and none of that, he would just get up there and sweat and he would get winded but it just still kept going like the Energizer Bunny. He loved to perform.
I think something that gets lost in a lot of this is how incredibly athletic he was. He really wanted to become a football player most of all before the music career kind of took over and he was also really into boxing and he was very into karate. But I think makes a reference to football early on in the song, when he's going Hut 234. But if nothing else he was athletic as can be on top of being a great vocal performer and just a generally nice guy to other people.
You out of here I have a dream you guys would love that song he sang a lot of really really good music that just captivated people

It takes such a person to recognize this in another, so your comments say much about you! I would just like to mention this.... that Elvis was not part of the music of the 80s. He died in 1977. And these videos are from his Las Vegas years which spanned from 1969 to 1976.... Thank you so much for your meaningful insights into this very well-beloved man!
