anaheim hilton hotel review & room tour / walking to disneyland

- On September 22, I stayed at the Anaheim Hilton after attending Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland! I was able to get my room for $128 through Hotels.com, plus $21 for parking. This video includes my honest review of the hotel, plus some info about getting to & from the parks from the Hilton.
I did have my car during my stay, but chose to walk to the parks because I thought it would be quicker than driving, and I wanted to arrive early before the event started. It took less than 20 minutes to walk at a casual pace. After the event, I took the Toy Story parking lot shuttle which is free, and drops you off in the parking lot directly across the street from the Hilton (about a 5 minute walk). Another transportation option is the ART Shuttle, which is $4/ride or $6/day - for more info, visit rideart.org.

this is an excellent review..I've never stayed at this Hilton, but I have stayed at The Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan and felt the same way. Like I wasn't getting the proper respect as a guest as a hotel, and like I didn't belong. I also appreciated the Starbucks review.
Thanks for the review! We'll be staying here later in the year, but luckily I get the employee rate. I appreciate your timed walk to Disneyland because I was curious about this myself.

“The hotel wanted me to find Jesus”🤣🤣I was dying! That stuff creeps me out too!! I’m sorry your Hilton experience wasn’t awesome, I feel like hotel experiences are really important and totally affect your vacation. We use to live in LA and we’d always do our DL overnights on property for ALL the things you listed about the Hilton. Disney just knocks it out of the park regarding customer service! I get needing to not spend a lot though - we had to go less because we always wanted to stay at Disney. I miss being SO close! Appreciate your honest review!

First...Justin looked super cute in your video, lol. Great Costume! And thanks for the review, as a travel agent...I like this info. But I do tend to book closer to the parks for all of these reasons. Also...Anaheim can be weird and after years and years of staying of property as a kid...I 100% only do on property now, lol.

We are headed to Santa Monica next week and then we are hitting the North Hollywood Vegan Street Fair. I love CA!! I wish we could afford to live there.
Plant Based Dads I hate to be the barer of bad news but they just announced vegan street fair was cancelled bc of coronavirus :( is this your Disney trip too or is that later? I bet the parks will be empty! 😂

omg the cute donald duck water bottles! That's too bad it wasn't a fabulous stay. I stayed in a hotel in disneyworld last time, and loved it. Definitely has Disney Magic :) These reviews are awesome for people travelling there.

We are staying there in a few weeks, sucks you had a bad experience though, I hope ours will be better. Have mostly seen so many good reviews..
I think when the price for this hotel is in the 300 is when there is an event going on at the convention center or what not? I could be wrong but at least when I’ve been looking at it it’s been at that like 100 price range and that’s why we choice it cause seemed nicer then some of the ones across the street from Disney which were also way more. Though, if it was like 300 I would for sure not be staying there. My parents for booking it with their flight got one night free and then we did their long weekender stay and every night is 109 I think before tax and then one night is 59 for the special.

I just checked a few random dates (weekdays and weekends) in the next few months and half the time it's around $345, the other times it's $120-220. For example, on 7/13 it shows a discounted price of $134, with the crossed-out "original price" of $589.. what?!? I wonder if they do that intentionally to make people think they're getting a great deal. If I had gone into it thinking it was a $100ish hotel I think I would have been satisfied, I think seeing that high price tag just got my hopes up too high! For a clean and comfy place to sleep, compared to other hotels in the area, I still think it's a decent option when the price is low.
Good review! I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and it sucks how much you pay and they’re not always the greatest. I get myself grossed out in them, I try to not stay in them that long lol
Thanks for this honest review! Too bad your stay was disappointing and you had some weird interactions. Booking a hotel should feel special and different and it's too bad that that wasn't your experience, especially at a Hilton! And ok, please tell me more about the Oogie Boogie Bash... what is that!?

I’ve stayed here a couple times. It’s an ok hotel it feels very sterile and without personality and I hate that they charge you extra to use the gym. The convenience to Disney is nice tho
That’s a bummer your stay wasn’t pleasant. I think seeing reviews like this even if it’s not great is good for people like me who have never been to Disney! You’re someone who has been to Disney and experience all that it has to offer, so I trust you!

love Justin! We have that hat too! weeeeeeiirrdd. How unfortunate for your pretty woman moment! that's messed up. You could pay so much more and stay in Grand Californian which is way nicer and you know they wouldn't act that way. Its not like fanciness gives them an excuse to be jerks. :(
right?? haha i've been to the grand cal and other disney resorts for lunch, pool, etc, and it ends up feeling like a vacation even when i'm not staying there. they're always so nice. hope you and the fam are doing well!
