    Same process for my 1993 del sol this video helped a lot! Thanks man I had to replace my headlight switch and this brought me all the way up to actually swapping out the switch itself.

    Do you only remove the negative from the battery?
    Why dont you remove red side too?

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Late reply, once the ground is disconnected there is no longer a circuit, so it is unnecessary

    That "cable reel" is a clock spring.

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +absol google a cable reel, the same thing comes up. They are synonyms.

      Oh, okay.
      Didn't realize that before.

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +absol No problem. Only ones that can't be considered cable reels are ones from really older cars since they have a brush connection instead of a ribbon cable. But they also can't be considered clock springs because it contains no spring, so I'm not even sure what to call it lol "rotating horn thing" will sound professional enough in my follow up video, right? Lol

    at 2:20 you can clearly see that he DOES NOT have the battery unplugged. the AC Lights are clearly on. lmao.

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that’s just a reflection off the camera light, my radio would have displayed, I honestly would have been too scared to work on this battery connected, probably wouldn’t be scared on a 2010 and up, but not 1st gen SRS stuff lol. In either case do as I say not as I do lol

    • @Novaah803
      @Novaah803 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Feesher I pulled mine then realized my clockspring is bad, fixed the light temporarily by putting a 2.2ohm resistor on so the computer thinks the airbag works but it’s unplugged rn

    My screws by my steering wheel aren’t loosing and I tried a T30 help!

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s not T30 I honestly don’t who what to say. You can use a chisel and try to make a slit to use a flat head, or use a Dremel to cut a slit

      @@TheFeesher was it a pain wiring the horn in?

    • @TheFeesher
      @TheFeesher  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ZERO XmaniacX sooooooo, a couple issues, I just go without a horn, also the splines are not *exactly* the same so there is some wobble to the wheel, because keeping the same wheel to bezel distance doesn’t allow the nut to grab the shaft with the nylon so it comes loose after a bit, I’ll probably wire the horn up for the hell of it and put a video of how I did it all

  • @RJ-nh9hw
    @RJ-nh9hw ปีที่แล้ว

    I appreciate you sharing this video; however, you should have played it first to get a sense of your "educational values" in that you assume too much from the viewer, you leave out a correct, rational, logical and sequential presentation of the tools/steps one should go through to do the work. You may think you did a good job, but it is at best weak and incoherent at many points with poor camera, work plus your dialogue is scattered. A redo with you having written a "script" or outline would greatly improve the effects of your sincere communication and presentation of this valuable service/effort. Think like a teacher, not a mechanic working to beat the clock on labor times allowed for the operation you have presented. I hope you take my criticism as constructive, for it is in this direction that I offer it.
