You can head over to peace center! They have a caifan place called Isle Cafe (if I’m not wrong!) way cheaper alternative there! And also, there’s another coffe shop near bras Basah area too! Good charsiew rice store at a coffee shop infront of Waterloo temple too! And Thai food at fortune center too

Is it uncommon to take your own lunch to work? Wouldnt be cheaper to take some food from home? I would be sooo anxious if i had to go out and buy lunch every day 😮💨😨😂
Seems uncommon at my workplaces so far! Cheaper and healthier to pack my own lunch for sure, but I’m not sure I can afford the prep time 🥲 do you pack your own lunch everyday?😯
@@yuldaze well , i kind of have to because i have kids and i need to do their packed lunches, and my husbands 🥴😂 so i batch cook during the weekend and always have protein and side dishes to pack something. Or dinner leftovers, once you get into the routine is easy. Going out for lunches every day is just not feasible in England, you either eat unhealthy fast food or super expensive if need a more healthy option.
You will be missed, please compensate with a longer vlog the week after 😆

I'm not judging or generalizing, but Singapore seems like a 'live to eat' and not an 'eat to live' kinda place.. Looks like the whole culture is centered on food as the many vlogs and videos I have seen are always about food.. Is this the case or am I wrong? As I'm not a foodie, I want to know to integrate better with the community once I move there.. Cool Vlog btw!
