Hell yea brother. I’m currently getting my year experience right now. Getting my TWIC card and tanker/hazmat endorsements. Looking into Circle K, Gemini, and such after I get that year. Much love brotha and keep grinding 🤙🏻
Military fuel is negotiated and bid on through the DLA. That's the department for the military that takes care of the civilian contract services for the military.
@@dmoney250yes sir, I’ve put in a few applications and got a few companies that are interested, I know you not with savage but would you still recommend them to get tanker experience? Been driving 3 years so I’m not trying to go waste my time 😂
I may go haul crude oil, and other chemicals or gas to for a little bit for the experience. The crude in the oil fields pays really big when the price per barrel is up. Jet prices change on Monday night at midnight every week going into Tuesday. I love aviation and the industry and supporting the military and the whole industry. Icwas passionate about it and it was a career in trucking that i loved i took so much pride in it. Ive delivered fuel for airforce one and marine one presidential aircraft as well.
I have lived in TX, AZ and Utah. I would say Salt Lake City, Utah. They have a shit load of hazmat jobs. They have a lot of fuel jobs and oil jobs that pay pretty good! I mean Texas does too, but it’s hard getting hazmat jobs in Texas with not a lot of experience.
Any advice. I got my CDL in January. All endorsements and Twic card. Been applying all over and can’t find a job. I want to get into hazmat. Any advice on where to look for a job
Where are you from? look for those smaller jobs on indeed to get experience so you can do hazmat. Unless you’re from Texas then you might have to get an over the road job
What’s up bra can u please tell what county state job in I looked up transwood and it’s few different states pay different thank you 🙏 bra get merch I’ll buy few things support u
Bro how u getting away with only getting 500 a week taken out. They take out 40 percent of my check and I clear 3000 a week before tax. Man u lucky and I claim 3
@@jaxripper251 that’s not true at all. For example, say someone makes 65k a year. They’re taxed at 22% for that earning amount. Now say you max out your 401k (invest) at 23k. Now your reported income for is taxed at 12%, which is a huge tax difference, just about half. The extra money you’re thinking you’re missing is invested and growing. Say you do this for 10 years, that 401k amount will grow to about half a million. So you’re lowering your tax liability while growing an investment account
@@dmoney250 hey how can a fuel tank owner make money with leasing on a company? If it they lease can the pick there own hours? And what’s the best size to get from maximum to minimum
@@NaeBenGi I’m not an owner operator but you probably need to look for a company that’s paying the highest percentage out to owner operators. Yeah, I’m sure you can pick your own hours. Unless the company has like certain hours they work in between.
