I used coconut flour because I’m gluten free. They had a good taste but were not as crunchy as yours. What gluten free flour would be better in this recipe? Thank you
thank you so much molly! your recipes are a life-saver for me right now. (just a side note i was wondering your opinion on alkaline water for lpr, and making it at home with baking soda? is this a good idea or not?)
Hey there! So glad my recipes have helped you! I like alkaline water. I usually rec the alkaline drops like Alkazone. Do you know what type of reflux you have (GERD vs LPR)?
My big big issue for me is coffee 😢 i know it’s hurting but i cant help it , its my biggest and my only issue i cant seem To let go 😢.. these videos are amazing appreciate you so much ❤
Hi Molly ..sandy here can we do a virtual meeting as my 11 year old daughter is going through this and we are trying to understand what are the triggers and what are not for her.being grown up as vegetarians we are limited to what we eat..but would like to know more from you. I am now reading acid watcher’s diet as well
Would you say a reflux friendly diet also assists in gastric ulcers? Are the two issues stemming from the same causes? Can you treat peptic ulcers similarly
Great question! Ulcers may have a different root cause and need to be carefully address. Sometimes they may be caused by h pylori or stress. The diet will be similar but may also require soft foods and medications depending on severity!
@@MollyPelletierRD thanks Molly! I have looked online and so many articles say dress does not cause ulcers and are only a exacerbating factor. But I highly suspect they can be a root cause if there is no Hpylori or nsaid usage or usage of other medication.
To optimize your health, consider the following steps: 1. Food & Respiratory Allergies: Begin with comprehensive food allergy and respiratory allergy tests to identify potential sensitivities. 2. Supplements: Consider taking Zinc Carnosine and a combination of Vitamin D and K3 to support overall health. 3. Dietary Changes: Eliminate sugar and all refined carbohydrates from your diet. Start each morning with a glass of room-temperature water, adding a pinch of Baja Gold Sea Salt, and remove all other salts from your intake. 4. MTHFR Gene Test: Get the MTHFR gene mutation test to understand what minerals your body may struggle to methylate. This test is essential and only needs to be done once in your lifetime. 5. Liver Health: Focus on cleansing your liver and reducing liver fat immediately. This may involve dietary changes and supplements. 6. Sleeping Position: Sleep elevated and on your left side to promote better digestion and reduce acid reflux. 7. Stomach Acid & Digestion: If you experience digestive issues, try Betaine Hydrochloride to help increase stomach acid production. Many people mistakenly think they have too much acid, but it’s often the opposite: too little acid can prevent the esophageal sphincter from closing properly, worsening reflux. 8. Address Gastritis First: If you have gastritis, treat it first before increasing stomach acid. 9. Baking Soda Test: To check stomach acid levels, try the Baking Soda Test. This will help you determine whether your stomach acid is too low or high. These steps will help guide you toward better health, but it’s essential to consult with healthcare professionals for personalized advice.
