This is how my kitty came into my life. She was abandoned by the ex-neighbors and finally after two years and of her living under the stairs in an empty house next door aka the neighbors old place, and my sweet Cinder cat passed on, she came into my house and would not want to stay…finally the beginning of 2021 she decided she was ready to be an indoor outdoor cat and now she is just an indoor cat. Oliver is a sweet heart and glad that he found a family to be with. ❤
99% sure they'll be friends within a week now that Oliver is neutered. Much easier with another male than with a female, although that's no big deal either.
I slowly introduced my male cat to my boyfriend's male cat by keeping a door between them for about 2 months. One night I heard them having a full on conversation through the door at 2 am. I was picking up that my boyfriend's cat was letting my cat know that they could be friends, have fun together, enjoy each other's company and he would show my cat the ropes since we were at his house. It was so funny and in the morning I opened the door and they became good buddies after that. Thank you for taking care of the street cat. 💗
I'm a first time cat owner as well, i raised 6 from 1 week without their mom, i kept the 3 boys, they are about 9 months old now and i'm learning as i go. My favorite thing they do is when they walk in front of me they keep track of me behind them with their tails. I would always worry about tripping over them but then i seen that they keep their tails on my legs to know where i'm stepping. They are wonderful. I live on a main street so i don't really let them outside without a leash, but i would love to give them a yard where they had the freedom to explore, i think that's important for cats. Love your story.
I think a lead is the best thing as no risk of getting run over, but I agree, for them to be indoors and out, safely. I had 2 cats with a cat flap and they scared me a few times with disappearances, dog attacks and climbing into a parked vehicle as the door was open and being driven elsewhere. I'd quite like to have a catio when I am living in a more suitable place.
SWEET! She's just like our new Adopted Mama Cat that already have her own kitten🥰 tho we don't let her go out anymore like before we made her as indoor cat like our dogs.
Don't be put off by a little scrapping if/when you let Oliver in because that usually runs its course and then things settle down. I think he loves you and what he'd like best is if he could cuddle with you indoors - say on your bed.
Sweet cats, both! :) I recently got a second cat, and aclimatizing them to each other takes time. For me, introducing a baby to one I'd had for about three years- separate rooms (closable doors), switching them between the two and then letting them attempt to hang out, worked. Love that you've taken this worried lil sweetie under your wing. Hope you have a great 2025. :)
It's wonderful to have options in life and Oliver looks like he needed a kind helping hand, besides he is very handsome and friendly! Oliver just got real lucky!
Sometimes you can acclimate a new cat into your home by closing your other cat off in another area or room, introducing the new cat into a safe space for a small amount of time, and then bringing Oliver back outside and releasing your first cat back into the area where Oliver has been. You can also swap their blankets or beds for short, then gradually longer periods of time, so that they get used to each other's scents. And, if your first cat is treat motivated, you can give him treats when he sits in proximity to Oliver without any aggression. These tips have worked in the past with two very aggressive males.
I belive he would like to be indoors with you but is fearful of the other kitty. Hopefully they will adapt to living together inside. Thank you for all you've done for him though ❤❤
He is timid - but now his hormones are settled he is ready to be part of the inside family unit. You will have to let the two cats get used to each other and supervise but they should settle down. If your indoor cat is neutured too. Thank you for providing all the options to make a home.
I just moved to Indiana and have been adopted by an older stray white/grey tabby that had been hanging out next door. I feed him everyday and want to get him neutered and try to bring him inside. I'll get him a nice little warm cat house shelter in the meantime 🐈❤
If someone is trying to get two fighting cats used to each you kind of have to take control or at least give direction. We use a series of short noises and commands to stop the hissing and fighting. I see people just let some cats show dislike and yeah it can work to let them exhaust it out. Depends on the cat. But letting the aggressor know that you do not like or want the aggressive behavior is not a bad thing. Works for us for many cats.

I don't understand why people dump animals 😢😢 I often wonder when I watch your channel and other good animal channels if those people ever see the animal that they dumped I'm here. Oliver is such a sweet cat. I'm glad that he is safe and loved❤❤❤❤❤❤
I rescued a pregnant female And got her fixed Great homes for babies Then Because my dogs chase I found a lovely home w an elderly couple Who had lost their cat.
He looks so much like my harley that while I was driving truck during covid my girlfriend let him out and she says that he never came back but he would always come back home I miss his butt he was a great cat
Just bring him inside the house. Cats often rebel at newcomers, but get used to them with time when they realize they aren’t a threat. I’ve personally done so five different times, and it’s never taken more than a few weeks for things to settle down, and usually less. Just bring him inside and let them get used to each other with supervision, but on their own time. They almost certainly will.
cats will fight to establish a pecking order, but you let them do their thing and eventually theyll form a little clan and they can both be indoors. Just got to roll with the first month of chaos.
Thank you so much for rescuiing Oliver and sharing his touching story. He's a very pretty cat and so sweet. It's great that you are doing everything to make him comfortable and warm. You are so kind! I hope that he can get along with your other cat so that he can start to live indoors. Maybe you could try getting some advice from a veterinarian or a place like PetSmart on how to best introduce them to each other so they wouldn't fight. ♥♥
What a beautiful kitty he is! As a Roman Catholic I do believe that our Lord notices and remembers those who care for His animals as this woman has. He's so good looking! I have a striped tabby rescue male but mine is the usual brown/orange with stripes. I really love Oliver's striped-y tail!
This story is a lot like ours. A couple of years ago, we had a cat visit us, since we put food out in the winter for stays. She meowed at us, then would hiss. She wasn’t shy about us touching her and even got on my lap and went to sleep. We had her checked for a chip, nothing and we had her fixed. Long story short, she sleeps and eats in the house but at night, she wants to go outside. Where she goes, we don’t know. It’s frustrating to us because we’d like her to stay in all of the time.
Best thing to do is bring Oliver in, keep the cats in separate rooms for a few days, then let them meet through a crack in the door to get used to each other being there, then move on to carefully supervised same-room introduction. They'll scrap for a while then start to settle. Within a couple weeks they'll be snuggling - 'cos that's what cats love to do more than anything.
🌟🐈🌟🐈⬛🌟🐕🌟🕊🌟💖🌟🍀🌟 Thank you very much, wishing you, your animals and family a healthy, peaceful New Year, be happy like Oliver is, because he found you 🙋♀️
Thanks to u 🙏👍💪❤️ such a wonderful woman bless u and the cat 🐈 is so beautiful and soooo sweet love her God bless her 🙏😇❤️💔☝🏻🐈🤗😘😎 and happy new year to u both 👏🌘🌙⭐️🌟💫🎄
A heated bed PLUS breakfast and dinner? I might be interested too. I will require a much larger door than Oliver!
😂😂😂😂❤
😂😂
For someone that isn't used to cats she is doing a good job, hopefully he eventually moves into the home to be a part of the family.

❤
I like how she treats both cats respectfully.
That lady is lucky that Oliver chose her to be his human. He’s a cute kitty, and his little meow is so sweet. ❤
Sometimes when they get neutered they don't fight anymore so that could happen thanks so much for loving Oliver (I love the name)
My cat is also Oliver😊
My Ollie was with me for 17 years. He had to manage everything and I still miss him ❤😊
Thank you for taking such good care of him. He loves you
Oliver will have a Happy New Year thanks to these lovely folks...
Oliver is so cute 😊 ❤
Hopefully Timmy will lighten up a bit soon and share his indoor home with Oliver. He looks like an Oliver!
Thank you for helping sweet Oliver!
I would just let him in they would soon settle down ❤
Darling Oliver. I hope he can be indoors permanently once he and Timmy bond. Thank you for your kindness. Happy new year.
Sweet old gentleman ❤
Poor baby must of had a home before, if he was feral he wouldn't come near you,. In time he'll come around more.
God Bless you for helping him.🥰
Great cat and great cat mom.
Thank you for saving him and giving him a good life, on his terms. 🙂
They’ll ever be friends if they’re not together. Also, outdoor cats are subject to predation. Let him in and monitor their interactions 😻
99% sure they'll be friends within a week now that Oliver is neutered. Much easier with another male than with a female, although that's no big deal either.
Courtney. Thanks for welcoming sweet and floofy Oliver in your home. You are amazing. 😊🐱
I hope they become friends too. He’s a good looking kitty. Thank you.
Thank you🙏happy new year🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy new year!

That's how I have heard to do it. At their speed. He may still want to go on his walks though, with the dog.
Great video thanks for sharing, Godbless you.

Timmy's like, "Mom, why do we have to take in every waif and stray you find? This is the Kingdom of Timmy, and I hate sharing."
Such a sweet story 🐈❤️🥰🙏🏻

Sweet Oliver ❤ you hit the jackpot - you picked the perfect person and now you’re loved & cherished 🤗 What a beautiful gift!
Thank you for saving him.

One minute you think you've made a big mistake getting a second cat and then a couple of days later, you find them cuddled up together.
Bless you...

My favorite name for a kitty. Oliver and your other kitty will learn to love each other and it'll be safer for Oliver to stay indoors. ❤❤🤞
Thank you 🤗❤️🐱

He is so sweet, and when he ran after his dog friend, I thought they looked like twins…both tails in the air. So touching💕💕💕🐾🐾🐾🐾

Cute and adorable little kitty
Boy cats are so great. Glad Oliver has a home now. with you. I see he has his ear clipped from being neutered by the city pound

Patience and hard work overcome almost all obstacles. Brilliant work by you thus far. Keep it up, and hats off to you, a thousand times.
Beautiful. ❤. We need more people like you! ❤
What a sweet boy!❤😊❤😊
Is worth waiting for them to mellow or to love us..
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!
Thank you for adopting Oliver 🙏🌺💖. He's sweet and huggable 💖😸💖
He has a nice face❤
I’m rooting for Timmy to accept him! What a great story.
Feral cats very rarely meow! That’s how you know if a cat has been dumped or is feral.
Stop being a jerk Timmy. LOL
I really hope things work out for Oliver. He deserves it all and he is SO cute.

After neutering they usually calm down a lot and stop fighting with other cats. Happy she took him in!
Bring him inside permenetly and still take him on walks and stuff!
❤❤❤so much love❤❤❤ thank u
Jesus bless this kind lady for rescuing Oliver! Yayyyy Oliver, you gotta a porch, blankies, and heater! And there's more if you so desire!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
