AND what hit me the hardest was that even though you kept hitting hurdle after hurdle you didn't give up and not only did you wait but you thanked God while you waited. The way how I gasped when I saw your race!!! Congratulations Masai, I remember in tour final collegiate year in the NCAAs when you were unable to secure an individual national title, and it the following years you made team USA twice, and now you are an Olympian. Truly delayed but NEVER denied. Your growth from being a freshman at Kentucky to now being a professional athlete is a testament to faith, patience, hard work, and never giving up!! Glad to say that I have been a part of your journey in sharing your bright and unique personality. Congratulations once again and thank you for being an inspiration to many (including me)!!!!
