2024 Ford Evos Could Arrive in the US After All
The 2024 Ford Evos is going on sale once again. It has been almost two years since this model made its debut in China. The Evos is a two-row hatchback-like crossover, made for Asian markets. This model comes with a standard FWD setup, it offers a stylish design and a very modern interior. We don’t know if the Blue Oval carmaker plans to introduce the Evos model in some other countries, especially in the United States.
However, many credible sources are saying that the Ford Fusion Active will act as Ford Evos in the US. In any case, spy shots of the 2024MY are now here. Photos are giving us the first glimpse of the most recent upgrades. We hope to hear more details in the coming weeks. In any case, until that happens, here’s everything we know at the moment.
Spy Shots
The next 2024 Ford Evos has been caught on cameras for the first time. Basically, spy shots are showing a sportier variant, such as ST-Line. Like any other ST line, this one features sporty styling. A spied prototype has ST-Line-specific wheels, blacked-out elements, and numerous sporty upgrades on the inside.
Heavy camouflage does not help at all, but some exterior parts are still visible. For a start, the dual exhaust is easy to spot underneath the rear bumper. We’ll know more details once the camouflage comes off. Moreover, we are very interested in the base trim level, not only ST-Line. In any case, we expect a couple of upgrades, both in and out.
Ford Evos Engine Specs
Since the 2024 Ford Evos shares the C2 architecture with Ford Escape, a similar engine lineup is expected. Thanks to that, Evos should arrive with numerous powertrain options, including a 2.0-liter inline-four EcoBoost. This engine is already here, and it should remain a standard powerplant. A front-wheel-drive system is standard, while an all-wheel-drive setup is available as an option.
A twin-clutch borrowed from a Ford Maverick pickup and Ford Bronco Sport SUV is on offer. A plug-in hybrid model is a possibility, for sure. This version will reportedly generate 240 horsepower and around 270 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, Ford Evos PHEV will deliver impressive fuel economy ratings.
Interior Features
The next 2024 Ford Evos will sport a larger infotainment touchscreen, per reports. Rumors are predicting the same display that can be found in the Mustang Mach-E all-electric crossover. The level of luxury is largely determined by the chosen trim level. The base version is comfortable enough, and it hosts a lot of modern features.
However, upper trim levels will allow leather seats, a sunroof, over-the-air updates, and even Blue Cruise’s hands-free system. There is also mentioned Ford Evos ST-Line, which adds a sportier vibe, including different steering wheels, seats, contrast stitching, and much more.
2024 Ford Evos Release Date, Price
At this moment, no one knows if the 2024 Ford Evos will arrive in the US. Most probably, it won’t. However, anything is possible in the future. The Evos crossover is once again going on sale in China, this summer. The price will start at about $27,500, which is a minor jump in terms of price.

Except for the inexplainable huge front panel (what is it for?), this car as a successor of Mondeo, should definitely be sold within Europe with fuel engins. Forget about electric drives, they won't get anywhere...
