第3局當分數6比6時,小林發球( 21:30 )的那一顆回球,常速看明顯是擦邊球(因為球擦邊而角度折了),慢速另一個角度播看依然是擦邊,但卻被評審明顯誤判了...(現場擦邊球絕對有清脆聲音)
但小林完全接受,被誤判也毫無表情波動,坦然接受失分...這份運動態度,令人欣賞.👍
22:25就連擦邊後的下一球發球 雙邊對手都沒有意識到球有擦網 但裁判還是判擦網😅

其實擦邊後，小林的表情也有些不好意思，肯定小林知道球擦邊了，且王楚欽也清楚，而他們兩個，甚至包括裁判都因為球賽太過精彩，也太專注，誰都沒注意到誤判了

What an inspired effort and a great come-from-behind win by Lin Yun-Ju against World#2 Wang Chuqin who beat Lin in their last two singles matches 3-0 and 4-0 and 9 out of 11 matches overall. This win should boost Lin's confidence going forward, not just against WCQ, but that he belongs in the top echelon of table tennis players in the world and can beat any of the best players.
They must be friends. Very humble of WCQ seemed happy for LYJ

Wang lost his patience. that part of him is truly makes him cute and a shinning star. He will shine ever more and advance ever since like always. This is the strongest I've ever seen LYJ look. Just wow. There were 4 shots in there were you could just see WCQ look as though he knew he had no answer for that shot.

Chinese players can fold if their opponent puts up more resistance than they expect, and that's what happened here. After watching some of Lin's recent defeats I certainly didn't expect this. Very happy for him because he plays beautiful table tennis.

Now slow-motion replay is so easy. It gives us endless opportunities to review this point (Game 3 at 00:21:32).
The umpire originally says “7:6” (Lin’s point); then soon adds a “7” (changes her verdict).
Perhaps from her viewpoint, this one was simply long.
WTT commentator exclaims: “Woooo! There’s nothing Wang can do about it.”
But no one challenges the umpire’s call.
Though Lin seems clam about it; he never gains another point for the rest of Game 3.
But “the internet remembers.”
The negative repercussions on this judgment of the umpire and on Wang will linger.
Sacrificing honesty to win? Or opting for sportsmanship?
It is a tough call for Wang Chuqin!

This is the same Lin that beat ML and FzD in Singapore, also the same Lin that lost to Xuxin and the 2 above immediately after. That Lin has some crazy consistent backhand that FZD and ML couldn’t standup against him in fast rallies.

Why is the umpire not even giving 10 seconds before saying “please play” like that’s not what they’re about to do… please stop. It’s not like they were waiting 30 seconds or something. After so many points too

What technique is that @29:07? A backhand chop block?
don't know the technique but it's a hard thing to do: pretty much similar to the handwave/lollipop serve but applied to a side-spinning ball, which means calculating the position to land is very difficult. There is a high degree of luck on that one and despite Lin's quality this match, that shot was more luck than skill.
It’s more of a faded chop block. Prime Waldner- mode activated. Wang looks so uncomfortable in game number 4 and the last like he didn’t prepare for Lin.
A technique from Ma Long. Lin plays really like Ma Long by controlling his opponent!

TACTICAL BREAKDOWN:
Very surprising outcome as in their three other matches Lin got completely overwhelmed.
But this time he played in fantastic form, and Wang wasn't at his best.
Lin played with great control, dominating Bh to Bh rallies and using his Bh banana flick very well as he kept changing the spin and placement. Wang just couldn't find solutionts as he struggled with his Bh making a lot of errors.
Only way to prevent Lin's Bh flick was receiving short into the Fh side, but Lin took that option away as he started to serve from the middle of the table to even to these ball easier with his dangerous flick.
Very interesting! Also the way how the match went. Lin looked like far better player. Even in those two games he lost, it was more about him making errors and overdoing with risk than Wang upping the level of play. I don't thing Wang is used to losses like that. Let's see what happens next time they play!

不得不说，法兰克福这次event里的裁判属实废物。没事就给中国队发黄牌；林的擦边也看不见，把分给了王。解说也说了，nothing from the Umpire。我很想知道这些裁判是不是都不打球的，巴不得都像菲力克斯那样捡了球就发，这种大赛对年轻球员的心理压力本来就大。
林昀儒的性格和他名字一样儒雅。这样一位儒雅的球员有非常出色的能力和谦逊的态度，实在难能可贵，希望他能有更多成就。林不像日本队许多人，那些人实力不咋地，态度极其嚣张，喊起来极其嘈杂，十分让我讨厌。

Why do the commentators say lin mun ru? And not lin yun ju? Yun as you+n and ju as jujitsu..?
儒i pronounced ru with a rising tone, Lín Yún rú. The r is more or less correct but the tones are wrong by the announcers.
The pronouncement is correct, the spelling is Taiwan’s rule. My middle name is with similar pronouncement as him, but starting from J in spelling name.

Lin Yun-Ju练快拨能把手腕练伤，可见已达到一定速度。这让王楚钦不知所措，乱了阵脚。而教练王浩也无计可施。若刘国梁在兴许会好些。决赛看马龙的了，用旋转，落点控制他，抢在他前面打乱他，后撤一步跟上他的速度，防住他。相信马龙有能力战胜这一挑战。
马龙已经过了鼎盛时期。林将是国乒最有力对手了，但这不是坏事，比赛只会更精彩
每次都是马龙帮王大头挡下林和其他高手，这次不挡，王大头就没戏了。
