I used to watch that one but I am so over hearing section of the crowd react to lead's high note. And I love the dynamic control in this performance :-)
I introduced the earlier version of this cover they did to my barbershop chorus and I still can't stop listening to it. It's such a masterclass in close harmony, not just barbershop but a choral tradion of pure close harmony that rings out, that we find in the earliest choral music written. It's so exciting to find another recording of this.
@@VandalayIndustries82 I'm kind of a noob but this and sound of music are some of the best performances I've e seen, although sound of music had to grow on me
I got to see this in October; of '18, right after they learned it. There were only four of us in the "audience ".How do you applaud something that moves your soul?
What an amazing version! A nice "cover" but yet, a total stand alone. And few can handle the range. Beautiful "take" by Drew Ochoa. Guess I'm just a fan and there's no two ways about it!!
I showed this to a friend who had never heard of barbershop and he said, " Wow, they're making music with just their...voices." Why is that an obvious statement that is somehow not obvious at the same time?
This will never fail to give me full body chills.
2:40 that was CLEAN. amazing performance by these guys
That was the best rendition of that song ever. Truly amazing.
th-cam.com/video/kmAYpZsYT8U/w-d-xo.html Bari nails the final chorus better in this one, but I do like them both p much equally

So amazing!!! Love these guys!!! Sounds like heaven!
This video honestly needs more love.. I have definitely watched this too many times since it’s release 😮
After Hours is like the best quartet I've heard on any level, composition, perf, singing, etc. Top of the game. Hope they keep going for a long time.
Wow really? I mean you're entitled to your opinion but I wouldn't even put them in my top 10.

I think vocal spectrum probably better overall
@@thefrancis742 agreed. You can't talk about the best barbershop quartets without mentioning Vocal Spectrum and Ringmasters.
It is hard for me to describe just how good this performance is. Unbelievable job, gentlemen!
What a beautiful, clever arrangement. Thanks, guys!
Am all over goosebumps. Heavenly music! Thanks for share

Just wow
I was literally looking for a take on me acapella cover last week. Coincidence? I think not!
Likely is since they did this song last year as well.
@@jayw900 huh, so they did. I wonder why it didn't come up in search. Ah well
Goodness me. That was fantastic.
Beautiful!
Wow !!! Great !!!!
GOAT!

Does anyone know if this is contestable or not?
Nope, this is not contestable
