I have 2004 2.0l hyundai coupe and did the same max speed.:) maby in video it does not seems fast but, it is like road gets thiner and thiner untill u can see the white line in the middle. Can't imagine how it would be with more horses

Don't know if you have looked into these, but I'd do research. They are cheap. That's about it. And slow. I'm from the US, had a 2.0 L4 08, boy was there no get up and go.
Turbo kits are either custom made or you need to spend $$$$$to make it. And the V6 isn't THAT fast even after supercharging the engine

we made 140-200 at same time, but i have a passenger in car. So i think my G4GF whith g4gm intake camshaft a little bit powerfully and must be around 150 hp.

blkprod974 Watch the video again, the shadow on the pillars and flyover doesn't match on the shadow on the speedo. What I mean here is, perhaps the street view and the speedo view are from different time?

Some guys wondered why the car is that slow.... Goodness..... Even if you give the engine 500 bhp - it is not the engine, it is the GEARBOX and the TIRES (and the clutch, too, jbtw) ! The Standard gearbox and allowed (new) tires make a max speed of roundabout 221 km/h or 137 mph possible. For only a very short time. If you try to go faster your engine will kiss you goodbye... MY Tuscani has a not too reliable speedometer, compared with those of my Saabs's. While they always showed me almost exactly the real speed the Hyundai Instrument - uses the allowed range almost completely. Means, in simple words: it lies by showing 8% more speed than the real speed is. Approved by the authorities.... Got caught for speeding on the 17th day after buying my Coupé....
did a test pull in my 2.7L V6 GK when I got it. Speed limit was 100 kph, I got it to "reasonable revs" and got all the way up to 6th gear, was glad I didn't hear any weird noises of breakage, and then noticed I was doing 190 kph.
None of the Tuscanis are fast as delivered from factory, but the V6 does get up to illegal speeds surprisingly quickly. :)
For more speed, you'll want to install new (lower compression) pistons and conrods, a Quaife limited slip diff and a lower ratio final drive. Larger wheels might help, too. Of course, don't let the cops see you.

also ich weis ja nicht topspeed war das nicht :D meiner läuft laut tacho 245 und ist bei fast 6750rpm :D
+Dvrm Mach's nicht zu oft. Die Kopfdichtung/en sind bei über 6.500 rpm ziemlich stark gefährdet ;-) Ansonsten passt das ja: das dürften 'echte' 229 Km/h sein. Machbar, aber riskant... Bei Fahrten im Grenzbereich ist bei einem 9000er 2.3 Turbo der 2. Lüfter nicht angesprungen; Ergebnis: viiiiiiiel weißer Dampf..... Zum Glück nicht blau, aber auch ohne Wasser-Öl-Gemisch war die Kopfdichtung fällig :-O

this engine is the very same as on the Lancer EVO. The engine is fine, need a better gearbox.
@@MegredyPhotoStudio haha you are not even close. I've never heard of someone making over 1000hp on Tiburon/Coupé and there is reason for that.
4g63 has different bore and stroke that's why even NA versions have more power than Tiburons 2.0. And you comparing it to 4g63t which is legendary engine.

My Tiburon 2.7 2003 rode 245 km / h and 1.6 2006 after tuning 218 km / h. 0-100 = 7.6 sec.
The engine's mileage in 1.6 = almost 100k km.
Man. For 143hp 215 rm/h is very slow. Maybe you drive so slow?

+Vault Boy The 220 shown by GPS was realistic. Under VERY good conditions, my yet unchipped (and no 'body kit...') 2.0 reaches the 6.500 rpm, means, real speed is then about 221 Km/h. However, it is no fun to force the car to get over 220 Km/h SHOWN by the speedometer. If I Need to work, I want to get PAID >;-) But up to SHOWN 200 Km/h it is astonishingly easy to handle the car; and that means a hell of a lot of fun :-)) And all that at a fuel consumption of only 7.3 litres/100 Km (average all over); downto 7.1 at normal usage, upto 7.8 when speeding. Using ULTIMATE 102.
