    This was very fun! Nice built and I love the changes you made, especially with the coils. Nice job Dario!

    For some reason this glow version of the kit was molded in ABS plastic, and has a tendency to come apart down the road, so Used some CA glue.

      Glad you enjoyed this. I have more 'Aurora' monster kits in the stash and will eventually be making videos of those as well. Thanks for watching.

    Looks amazing Dario, very creative use of dollar store supplies. Great idea for the brick wall to add another shelf and the charts and extra vials Nice work painting her face, good call on the red hair. Too bad the arcing lights aren't so bright. Just wondering if you had used the glow in the dark sprue would that be bright enough?

      Using the fiber optics the way I did was something I've wanted to try for a long time and this was finally a project to try it. It would have worked much better if I used high intensity LEDs, but then I would have had to build a circuit similar to the one I did for The Forgotten Prisoner. I never liked the "Glow in the Dark" concept for model. They are not bright at all (fade quickly) and make the models unrealistic, which is the opposite of what I'm trying to do.

    Great job on the face, also the chains make it so real. I would try El lights for the lighting.

      Haven't worked with EL wire yet but intend to use it in a model some day. Thanks for watching.

    Great work, I built a huge diorama around my kit, including a plasma ball to give that real lightning effect.

      Saw your Bride diorama. (Both of your Bride models actually.) Excellent work. Would love to build a huge model like that someday, but I'll have to make sure I have a place to put it afterwards.

    Nice vintage kit, looks great with the light integration. Small vials and details complement the kit very well.👍

      Thanks. Not quite the effect I wanted but overall I like how the whole kit turned out.

      Thanks. I really like how the old medical drawings add to the effect. Wish I had more wall space for even more of those. I stuck one on the floor too.

    Is the use of actual spark plugs an option? With moderation of course...

    • @dariosmodelbuilds
      @dariosmodelbuilds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not an option. Spark plugs, or any sort of spark generator requires very high voltages so the power source would be big. And unless you get to kilovolt range, the sparks would be quite small. I do happen to have a 10,000 volt source (old neon sign transformer) that I planned to make a full size "Jacob's Ladder" but never got around to it. :)

    You can obtain glass- which is better, and worse. You can't add colored resins to glass.

      I did include two small glass bottles.
