My Vintage Cruiser gets an accumulator tank.

Today I add an accumulator tank to my vintage cruiser trailer. The accumulator tank makes it so the pump does not cycle on and off as much.. This is a good upgrade if you are a dry camper.

To preserve storage space did you consider mounting the expansion tank in the compartment with the water heater?

With that big of a tank I thought it was better to keep it out of that area. If you want to use a half gallon tank I think you would be okay putting it with the hot water tank.

Does the tank have to be right after the pump? Or can be anywhere? My pump is in the kitchen and I have space in the bathroom underneath the sink. So I wanna make sure I can place it anywhere

The tank will do its job as long as it's after the water pump. My pump is under my bathroom sink. And the pressure tank is under the table, about 10 feet away.
