If someone is having a hard time fighting ants I have good advice. I tried everything - black pepper , cinnamon, vinegar with and without water, even cucumbers and lemons, but nothing helped. If someone is also having a hard time getting rid of them, I would advise mixing hot water with salt and baking soda and spraying on places where they are. Goodluck ;)
Most people don't know this but baking soda cures everything. It's the miracle cure. Just think, while you're cleaning with your baking soda you're also killing ants and curing yourself of almost every disease known to Man.😃
Not only that, if you mix baking soda with Vinegar you get the same chemical that potato crisps manufacturers use for their Salt and Vinegar flavoured crisps which is called Sodium Acetate. It's a miracle.

If you have an anthill nearby it will still be ants. However you can prevent getting ants into your house by just closing the doors and windows whenever ants might get in, which basically means daytime during the summer half year when its not rainy. If I open the window I stand there and watch for as long as its open so I can close it as soon as unwanted bugs approach

I have been told that ants hate cinnamon because it smells to the. I've tried it in my house and it worked. Just put some cinnamon on where the ants come to your house (under the doors, holes, wall corers, etc.).
Hope that works. I'll probably try that first if I get an ant problem in my home, but I don't have it at the moment

They keep coming back because there is still a food and/or water source for them, they follow previously made pheromone trails that they know will get them to the water/food, and finally, as long as the protected Queen lives down in her hive she will continue to make many more worker ants to follow the trails to the much needed food/water source and since they are fighting for their very lives while you are simply fighting against a "phobia" they will be much more tenacious about it than you are. As this video shows you, DON'T KILL THE WORKER ANTS. You need them to get the poison to the Queen. Once the Queen dies the colony will also die as they also eat the Borax and cannot recreate a new Queen. Sorry Freddy Mercury!

Right before I left for vacation a couple weeks ago I notice there were a TON of ants in my bathroom area. 🐜
Before I left, I accidentally left my sugar wax jar opened. When I returned 3 days later, there were at least 100 ants that had sunken to their deaths in the wax. Thankfully, it was a failed batch of wax so I didn't really lose anything I needed.

10 Peppermint oil drops in distilled water in a medium spray bottle, the ants hate crossing it ,so I paint it on the skirting boards with a wide silicon pastry brush just kept for this, and around any where they might get in like window ledges and around the door frame step ,spiders hate this to and I also paint the dustbin lids to keep the spiders and flies off ,when it rains just spray again, inside lasts for ages before needing to be redone

no, no, no. there is no stopping ants. the best way to control them is to pick ONE powerful ant colony around your house and support it. feed it. help it grow. etc. preferable a larger more carnivorous species of ant. this one ant colony will wipe out all other ant colonies in the area. so there will only be one ant colony around you.

I have so many ants at home.In every corner of the house. I am a kid.
I have a cat that I don't want to accidentally harm with Borax, so with the help of Pinterest. I found out that if you mix equal parts POWDERED sugar, equal parts baking soda, and equal parts water, you'll make this cool nontoxic ant killer. You just get a cotton ball and roll it around in the mixture. It only works once it dries, so you can just place it down wherever you see ants, and after it dries it'll take effect. I usually place it on a little piece of aluminum foil. The powdered sugar attracts the ants, and the baking soda kills them slowly so they bring little pieces of the cotton ball mixture back to their colony and kill even more ants.... For years I've feared summer because I hate ants. They literally were everywhere, I'm not even exaggerating. It's just cause of the location I live in. Since I've tried this, I've seen very few ants.

I have tried the hot boiling water over the ant hills, vinegar and water in a spray bottle, sugar and baking soda and none of them have worked in my backyard. I am getting more and more ants every year now. I have even used bbq lighter fluid to light them up and still no luck.

Me too. I've vacuumed my house almost everyday since I saw these ants coming in a gang into my house. I sprayed vinegar and tea tree oil, but that only kept them away for about 10 minutes then they were back like they never left.

apple cider vinegar in a bowl covering the top cellophane and poke little holes with a toothpick. In a couple days it will catch a lot of them. Always keep a clean sink and countertop.
use a plastic container. Put a piece of fruit in the middle. Fill the container with vinegar until it's halfway above the fruit so it's above the vinegar. Leave it in your kitchen for about a week

the absolute best way I've discovered to deal with ants in the home is to buy lots of tupperware-type containers that seal tight, and use them to contain any cereal, cookies, sugar, etc. inside. Ants don't really want to live with humans, and they lose interest real fast when you do that.

I'm currently studying them I left a uneaten small sucker in the garbage in the restroom last night, today they came from the wall went around top of my 2nd desk avoiding the diatomaceous earth on the floor and headed around the corner to the restroom into the trash can and to the unused sugar sucker. So I now know to add water, vinegar & soap to get rid out their ant trail. I also tracked down their way into the house. It was the top of the floorboard they came from. I find learning about ants interesting.

Garlic will keep mosquitos off you. I take 500 mg per day. Don't think you can eat enough to do the trick, you can't, you need to take garlic oil capsules. You probably think it will make you smell bad but you're wrong. The first day you will taste it when you burp but after that your body begins to assimilate it and no more smell or taste. I boiled water w/ cayenne pepper and it worked PERFECTLY. After that, I put warm water, vinegar, and dish soap in a spray bottle and sprayed around the edges. Problem solved.
