Hi, Fishing Sisters, we are an older couple from Germany. Lookin' for Wreckers Beach we found your vid. We were there in late January 2020, 3 Weeks after the Big Fires and short before the CoronaCrisis. It was the second last station of our 6-week Australia trip from Cape Tribulation to Adelaide. We found this beach and it was so beautyful, long, white and lonely, made for lovers like us...😍 (Without fishing sisters on this day! ;-) We made a lot of pictures and lookin it very often. It was nearly like heaven !
What lovely memories! I can certainly relate to your description. It felt like paradise that day. Once day we will go back there - it is a lot closer for us ;)
@@fishingsister Thnks for your answer. we were for 4 days on Kagaroos , it was great. We have a good friend in Adelaide with german roots since 45 years an so we have near relations to Australia also in our heart. We were there two times, 2014 and 2019. And we think, we must be there a third time there before we will retire. It is necessary ! Sure! You were fishing on Murray River. We were also there, spent a night at Wellington Court House (a little bit down the river.) The fisherman there gave the fish to the Pelicans. we didn't understand it.....
Sounds like you definitely need to come back before you retire! We have good friends here in Adelaide that are from Dusseldorf. They don't fish but we have lots of good times with them! Those people on the River Murray that fed the fish to the pelicans - that was probably because they were Carp. Carp are an introduced species here and are a pest, so if they are caught they are not allowed to be returned to the water. Many people don't think they are good to eat - we disagree! - so they throw the fish away or give them to the pelicans :)
@@fishingsister "Carp in blue" is an traditional Christmas or Sylvester meal in Germany . Cooced in water with acid makes him to become blue. Then with cooked potatoes and horseradish an lots of fluid brown butter. Delicious!!! But the Ccarps here are from pools or aquaculture. They are bigger (4 lbs) and fat. Best regards Jürgen

Thanks it was beautiful! They day and the fish :)
It does not mean your fishing with weed covering your bait generally the weed hits your bait while reeling in
