EXCELLENT INFORMATIVE VIDEO! 100 percent correct. Amazing i learned how to use a brannok device from Mr. Marty (Altman Shoes) in Chicago mid 80s. He said all the same things to me and i was able to properly fit the gentleman and sold more shoes. i learned a trick from "Buckner" Top salesman at Chernins to always rub ur thumb across the instep of a brand-new fitted shoe it makes their feet feel good. and to hide one shoe while i went to the back and brought out a min of 5 pairs of shoes plus shoe trees! beautiful times. i sure do miss them. Thank you. Mr Bodell
I bought an old brannock a few years back and discovered my arch is 12 while my length is closer to 10.5. It explained why I have found size 12 to fit best in almost all boots and shoes outside a an oddball last here and there.
Thank you sir, for that information very informative. I’m dealing with plantar fasciitis in the worst way. I’ve tried New Balance, Hoka , Brooks and now using ASICS Gel Kayano 29 Mk , Gel Cumulus 29s and just bought Saucony Guide 16s and hoping for the best. Flat feet and arthritis in ankles. Nobody measures shoes like this anymore and I can see why more people have foot issues now than before. I sure wish we had a great store like yours and a owner like Mr Bodell
@@BodellsShoes what’s your opinion on the best sneakers for plantar fasciitis for a man who has wide flat feet and puts in at least 16,000 steps per day on concrete floors 5 days a week. The pain has gotten unbearable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏽
New Balance M1540, M990; MBT Huracan 3000 (very good center-arch); Finn Comfort style Huelva (most support off the rack). Instant relief of plantar fasciitis. @@saulmiller71
Mr Bodell, this video is most informative. I’ve struggled to find shoes to support high arch/instep.
Finn comfort is my brand of choice !!!
Thank you! Glad it helps

Wow. You guys have been around for a long time. Haven't seen Buster Browns and wooden shoe store furniture like that for a long time.
Thanks for your complete knowledgeable explanation! You share more info in your videos than my ex podiatrist did with three useless visits!
Normal arch, neither pro nor suplinate but have a 10.5" instep but only an 9" length foot. Having issues trying to find the right ski boot
