Seems like this C151A has its braking profile updated to the more desirable “no coast” or One-Step Brake! Other C151As, such as 551/552 and 555/556. Hopefully this would mark the permanent return of the one step brake on all the C151A trains.
SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided.

If it is really implemented throughout the model eventually, I might reconsider riding the C151A trains again soon as a 'one-week' trial first to see the performance for the model with the brakes
