  • [SMRT] Kawasaki CSR Qingdao Sifang C151A [519/520] - Do Not Board at Kallang (Test Train) (EWL)
    Filmed on 22nd September 2022, by Dzikry
    519/520 has finally made its reappearance as a test train after the Last Train to Tuas Link, after a 14 month disappearance in BSD. Seems like this train made its way to EWL.
    SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided.

    It came from Changi Depot at 11.56pm and reached Kallang at 12.09am. But the train display says "Do not board" at 11.58pm onwards. After that, the screens will be switched off.

      It will remain as “Train Service ended” either
      A)Until last train to PSR has departed
      B)Until the next morning

      @@SG3054M B is until 4.40am where trains began to dispatch from individual depot for sweep duties before first train.

    They also use very strong motors, they will retire after non-KSF trains retired by 2027
