    • @Mark-pp7jy
      @Mark-pp7jy ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The first thing people need to know about getting and staying sober, is to STOP "battling", "fighting", or "struggling". All of those false notions keep a person focused on the substance, instead of focusing on living differently! How do I know this?...because I fought it for a decade and failed every time I said "enough". The moment we SURRENDER, is the moment the door of recovery cracks open. Peace!

    • @1w598
      @1w598 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I was a meth addict and one day I decided to take full accountability of this and said to myself, it’s not the addiction keeping me down, it wasn’t being an addict that was my issue, it was me. And me alone. Not the drugs, alcohol, horrific abuse as a child etc etc etc. No. It was just me. I took FULL accountability as I was the only one in control, and quit cold turkey that day and never looked back. And it taught me so much about how we do have that control if you can see it.
