Yes very good for a quick demo, BUT I strongly recommend Not using the tow ball to anchor the winch or to use it as a pull point. Tow balls of the type fitted are designed purely to tow with and putting sideways torque on them is a sure-fire way to make them shear off and become a lethal missile.
500 KG is only 1,102 pounds. If your trailer ball sheared off that easy, it wouldn't be allowed on the road pulling a trailer. Even my little utility trailer weighs 750 pounds empty and it's only 6 feet long.

If your vehicle has a towing capacity of 1500kg and you have the correct towball fitted, than you can pull up to 1500kg with this device in the same direction as the towed device. Simple physics. Read the vehicle manual. Then think about it.
