This and Lion King hold special places in my childhood memories. Those were the first games I beat as a kid from just renting them back in '95. Never had the chance to own them.
I rented this as a kid, but my siblings and I were quickly disappointed by how LONG these stages are. The enemies just won't die, either. I think we made it to stage 3 a few times, then just gave up and went back to Streets of Rage 2. The soundtrack to this game, however, is awesome. Those classic Ron Wasserman songs were made for the crunchy Genesis sound chip.
This was my "We have Streets of Rage at home" game for over a decade before I learned about actual Streets of Rage. Made me love both that much more. The show music, the actually accurate sprites, the Zords! Everything about it was amazing.
Played this game as a Teen. I always like playing as the Black Ranger due to his CHARGING ATTACK!! When it came to Zords, The Falcon Zord was a less-powered Zord who was hard to use to face off against the bosses.
Hi all! This was a pretty fun beat ‘em up! You get to choose a new power ranger for every level and even choose between a couple of Morphed fighters too! Overall it’s a pretty standard best em up but perfect if you like power rangers. Combat is very good, lots of combos etc and a few hidden spots in levels that require a bit of exploring. And of course, two player! Grab a friend and play it!
I remember how I watched a lot of power Rangers. and I don't remember anything about it. it was one of those things where I was like, "I'm a boy so I guess I'm supposed to like this stuff." but I didn't really care about it
I rented this from Blockbuster video. Managed to beat the game and even my sister liked joining in. I was such a Power Rangers fan and Fox Kids by extension thanks to Batman, X-Men, Bobby's World, Animaniacs, Eek the Cat, etc. I even had the action figures for the ninja mega falcon zord.
I rented this once while borrowing a friend's Genesis...great game. Though it still bugs me that they got Hornetor's name wrong. And given it's been almost 30 years, I'd forgotten the Genesis game used music from the show ( and yes, I did randomly start singing the lyrics )
These are the mechs each colored ranger represents in the series/movie White(tommy) tigerzord Green(tommy series and power rangers fighting game) dragonzord Yellow(trini) saber toothed tiger 🐅 Red(jason) t rex Pink(kimberly) pterodactyl Blue(billy) triceratops Black(zachary) i think at 2:01 he says mastermind

There is one level where the enemies keep coming unless you open up a cave nearby. That’s probably the level you got stuck on and I did too at first!

I think if you rewatch it, it’ll come screaming back to you.
I like how this game follows the movie and featuring some episodes long live JDF

It's called "Super Sentai" in Japan
The sentai shows are really cool, too. With Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
Lord Zelda would be excellent at longplay archive
