Awesome flower harvest! Great variety and will make into some gorgeous arrangements. I trimmed back some of my purple sage bushes today. They really do bloom a pretty purple flower whenever the conditions are right, before a rain shower. Not a 100% accurate, but always gives me hope. Anyway, the purple sage leaves were so pretty, that I saved some cuttings and made a pretty arrangement by just adding some purple king zinnias and some lavender colored salvia spikes. Looking forward to seeing what kind of perennials you plant in that flower bed.
The abundance is incredible given the heat that we had this summer. Can you please give me tips on growing Verbena bonariensus and/or meteor showers? No matter what I do, I can't get them to germinate, or if they do, they don't grow!
Wow! Exquisite bucket fulls, Amanda! My dahlias are budding and starting to bloom too. It's my first year trying them and I have them all in pots due to not having amended my horrible clay heavy soil enough. Thanks for sharing all you do and for inspiring me to keep going even in our horrible heat! Just can't give up on gardening.
love your cut flowers. I'm a first time zinniz grower. we had thousands!! so the seeds are expensive. how do I keep seeds. I have already cut many for bouquets and kept the heads to dry. love your yard!!
Buckets full of amazing beautiful flowers! Can’t wait to see the flower arrangements that you are going to make.

@@shesamadgardener Ugh! At least my veggies will like that!
Since you grow so many zinnias, do you get a lot of butterflies? Great harvest of flowers.
+Sandra Traugott tons! Mostly American painted ladies.
Will you make a bouquet video with these flowers?
+EyreRose Cottage not this time, because I have these all away in bunches for other to arrange themselves!

Can you remember where the article about the single vs double zinnia seed was? I’d love to read it.
+Lyndi Smith I don’t … I believe I saw the article on Facebook.
Question. If something had powdery mildew do you also leave the roots to decompose or do you pull the whole plant out?
+Grant West anything with disease should be removed in full just to be safe.
