I am a 58 year old japanese businessman, me and my oldest son at the same problem with this mount. It started with the same issue and then it will start to wobble and get all over the place , watch out.
Unfortunately all the best wearable gimbals in this size are about the same. I have had mostly a good experience but some of the really rough riding I've done recently has not been kind to my gimbal.
Dear Brian, Are you ever going to do a tutorial on descending safely and fast on a bike? I see you try to keep a low centre of gravity when you descend. It is my main failing when descending. I am so hyper-vigilant that I sit bolt upright. Do you have a tutorial video?
Safely and fast you say? 😅 I drop knowledge in future videos but there is no tutorial. You'll have to watch and pick things up as videos come out. You'll need to be hyper vigilant and ultra relaxed, that takes years of experience. No shortcuts unfortunately. Enjoy the climbs!
@@SAFABrian I fail to see why going down safely and fast would be funny with a touch of sweat. Going down safely and slow is a given as long as you intend to fuck up your wheel rims and break pads. So the cheapest options looks like safely and fast. Apart from been cheap. It is also life preserving as well. 😀
Thanks. I don't use a power meter. I replied to a few comments in the last video regarding speed overlays. I can't afford to do them for all my videos, many extra hours per video, and these are put out free of charge.
Way back when I used to work off Old Topanga. It's a big goal but I'd like to cycle it someday and this serves as motivation.

You live in cycling paradise, nice roads, wide lanes, little traffic. Only safe rides for me are MUP's...Thanks for sharing this vid.

We're lucky here in LA we can still exercise. I'm especially lucky this is all a bike ride away.

Poor gimbal 😔
Too many crazy gravel rides.
Another one. Dowhill with the dowhill bike next time please
I have a gravel and road bike. Pretty much always filming downhill tho
I switched to metric because the numbers are bigger.
Need every excuse to feel better about my riding addiction.
Haha! It's also easier to do the calculations when your brain is fried on a hard ride.
