Maybe a very light coating of oil to prevent rust. I even wonder if thick lube somehow affects the calibration? Loving the Scripture and witness. God bless.
Thank you Steve, I'm not sure the grease will have anything to do with it because when your pulling on it for resistance it is not moving it is wedged against the paw. I'm curious. Maybe I can do a video on that with one of my other torque wrenches.
