Honestly if you're using a ratchet this length with a 1/4" anvil and socket then one of them is going to break. This handle length is for 3/8" drive applications.. seems like they're just making tools for the sake of selling tools anymore
It's always good to have options when you're working in tight spaces. Thanks for your comment.
Can i buy proto wrench?
You can buy them on amazon, granger a few places sell them.
I have the same socket set that you are showing but mine does not have the holes.
Its a good set for the price. They hold up well!
i've been searching the video about this sit for years. thank you!
Thank you for checking out the video! God Bless
I warranty my husky pilers set , good tools
They are decent, minus the adjustable wrench sucks. I have had a good experience with them
I just bought one in a yard sale for $5. Neibhor said her father worked the powerlines and has had this since the 50's. It's in perfect condition to. I also bought a 1660C CHALLENGER PROTO USA Rachet for $4.
Wow, thats a great deal. Those vintage ratchets really hold up!
I've not seen a ball peen like the one in this post.
I like seeing and participating in the rescue of fine vintage tools. Some of us do this also with cars, boats, firearms, knives, fishing gear and other guy stuff. I enjoy my guy stuff!
Same here. My son actually sold it last night. I figure I would do a review on the ratchet before it was gone. It is well made!
' means feet
I know, it is a typo. Thank you
Thanks for sharing the Word! I pray people hear and heed it.
Amen!
Thanks brother, I've enjoyed seeing this! Excellent tool. God bless.
Thank you
35 dollars was a steal of a deal id say it was from the 50's the older one's had the Williams logo stamped on the under side of the ratchet just below the anvil if i remember correct thanks for sharing my freind Williams is my favorite
Yes I agree, it was a good deal he got it for. He sold it last night, just waiting for tne guy to come pick it up!
Thanks for the video. I looked for a while for something like this for my duo clean lift away. Got in following your directions and my belt was all frayed. New one coming tomorrow, hope it works. Fingers crossed.
You will be fine, thank you
Thanks brother, good work. Take care and God bless.
Thank you , Steve! God bless
Make a cool race bike
Im ordering parts now
@@mlacher100 nice, use to race back in the day. Restored a mongoose delinquent 01 no race bike 38 pounds lol that I putt around the hood.
Wow, yes 38lb is heavy. I will weigh this bike after I build it. We have a few racing bikes around 20lb! I just ordered more parts for the bike stay tuned !!
@@mlacher100 yeah those mid school trick bikes was built different. Beefy
Yes, they were, but they sure do look good!
It is worth it to buy?
I would pass.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!
God bless!!
That's HF merch for you. Rarely lasts for the 90d return policy.
Lifetime warranty
God bless brother
Thanks for the view brother!
Clean piece
Thank you!
How is the backdrag? Can you review the 3/8ths version? Pretty sure these are identical do the DieHard 120 tooth ratchets at Advanced Auto.
Thank you, i got this one just to try out. I am eventually going to do a video on back drag on all my ratchets!
Thanks Brother, cool car; great sound. I like that growl! Keep having fun and God bless.
Thanks, you!!
Thanks brother, God bless.
Thank you!
I need a new torque wrench,I appreciate the info!! Made in Taiwan!!
Yes, sir, thank you for the view
thanks for showing how to put it. back together
Thank you for the view
Thank you for the view!!
Do you still think you needed to add more torque with this westward compared to the harbor freight or was the harbor freight off spec?
Thanks Brother, you are the man and my go to channel for tool reviews. I appreciate you. I'm thinking given the very limited clicks we put on a torque wrench it doesn't really need lube. Maybe a very light coating of oil to prevent rust. I even wonder if thick lube somehow affects the calibration? Loving the Scripture and witness. God bless.
Thank you Steve, I'm not sure the grease will have anything to do with it because when your pulling on it for resistance it is not moving it is wedged against the paw. I'm curious. Maybe I can do a video on that with one of my other torque wrenches.
@@mlacher100 I think you're right, no effect from the grease. What was I thinking! Still, your experiement seems worthy and interesting.
I want to buy this set
Still going good!!
It is not usb C its just micro USB
Thank you
Nice bike
Thank you!
AZ950UKT
What does that mean?
Very cool. I just picked one up. You can use it as a torque adapter as well. I'm gonna try tying the wrench to it for ease of use.
I used it the other day on a job. It really came in handy.
try doing this with another extender th-cam.com/video/EVsyTro0mBI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LUoa0ZkO1HB7-ugC
Will do, thank you
Thank you! Have the same issue with an old streamlight. Same model.
Thank you for the kind words!!
Too bad Brother! China . . . Thanks, take care and God bless.
It's been a nightmare, the tool slipped out when I was pulling off the phaser so I had to do it by and now I am getting cam fault on the van. I had to put it back on the car without the tool it might be off a link I'm going to have to re check the timming. All the faults I'm getting are on the left side of the engine. At least it is the front side and not the back that was tucked into the fire wall. I'll keep you posted. God bless!
@@mlacher100 Bumer!
I found the problem one of the cam phasers was bad, I have one on order.!+
Thanks Brother. Interesting. I hope this holds up for you! God bless.
Not sure, but I'm looking to sell the van and get something more reliable. Thank you, God bless
Thanks. I don't think amazon will give you any trouble. Keep us posted. May God bless.
I sent them back this morning. Refund is on the way it says.
Milwaukee is in the house!! Thanks my friend for giving us a good look!! Hope all is well!!
Yes, thank you Jeff!!
Are the tires on backwards?
No clue, I didn't touch the tires when I bought the bike.
Nice, thanks Brother. I like the deep size etching. I prefer no switch on a wrench. God bless.
I like the no switch also, but in certain situations, they do come in handy. God bless, thank you for the view
Useful tool. Thanks for sharing
It doesn't have a huge selection, but it may help in a certain size tap if you happen to accidentally break on off!! Thank you
@@mlacher100 yes it could certainly get you out of trouble
hey one qustion does the battery still hold up to this day? i want to get this battery but i dont want it dying a few months after i get it
Holding up well for me.
@@mlacher100 i apologizze for asking this but is this sponsored by pickle power? just want to make sure because i really need a good wii u battery.
I dont know what pickle power is. I don't have any sponsors for any of my reviews. If I ever get a sponsor, I will still give my honest opinion of whatever I am reviewing. This video is not a review it is a how to of I stalling the battery. Thank you
@@mlacher100 thats amazing to hear sorry its just very difficult to find a genuine review person wyho is not sponsored by a product but I am glad you give honest reviews nonetheless
Looks expensive
They are, but are nice quality.
God. Santa Claus, Easter bunny. Toothfairy. All brain washing> You poor hillbilly.
Thanks for sharing Brother. They were just in my City. Many of us had a great view from our patios. Praise God for His Word and the favor of life! God bless you, your family and our Nation giving thanks always for all things.
Amen, it was a beautiful day to get out, walk around, and watch the blue Angles. Video does not do it justice how close they were flying to us, you could touch them!! God bless
@@mlacher100 Yes, same here.
Amen brother! I’m also quote Scripture at the end of our videos as well. God bless you and yours In Jesus Name my friend!
Amen, God bless!!
Thanks Brother, good morning! Interesting demo. I like the side angle better. God bless.
Thank you Steve, good morning as well! Thank you for the feedback. They work, but there is not much selection. Have a blessed day!
These are a great price for locking flex heads. The head is a little thick but still my husky locking flex head in 1/2” was like $50 and the 3/8” was like 40ish. Would be cool to see them torture tested with a torque adapter to see how much torque they can take.
It works pretty decent for the price.
Had one when i was 10 or 11
Yes, it's a cool looking bike for sure! Thank you!
