Thanks for the video very nicely explained. You said 18 mm when removing but 17mm when installing the top of the strut. Could you tell me which one you meant.
The original shock has the nut for the bottom mounting bolt welded to the shock. Why can’t I find a replacement with that? All the replacement shocks send the bolt with! Is it a cost thing to weld them on?

i have 2016 escape se , why most people change only rear shocks and front struts and shocks and what''s the diffrent between them > ? thanks
