    I have those bags, and there are dream….. the pocket works great for a bottle holder…. After 2 years I had a problem with zippers…. Couldn’t find any to replace so I upgraded to hard shel bags…. And 2 years later I found zippers… lmao but I still have them for use when I need to !

    Got a very similar set off Amazon. Installed on a 2004 Buell Blast (500 single). The Amazon video doesn't have anything on the plastic forms that go in the bags, so thank you for that. The Buell has fewer anchor points for the bags on the right side. And, since it's a narrow bike, I had to dink around with how the straps fit under the seat more than you did. But I agree - for the $, they are quite a good deal. Thank you for the video!!

    i just got the exact same pair from amazon, but with a kinda carbon finish on them. i was hoping someone would have a review and fitting video posted. Thanks for uploading, i knew more or less how to fit them, was just wondering how the overall look would be, and how secure everything would be.

      They really are a nice set of bags, especially for the price. Great for day trips. For long trips, they may not be quite big enough, but I guess that really depends on how much stuff you need to bring!

    I bought these in a deal on eBay. The bags themselves are fine as is the construction. They're cheap but aren't going to last for decades. My comment is to stress how utterly poor the strapping mechanism is. It is next to useless. Having side supports would certainly help, which I don't have, but I don't want to struggle strapping them each time I get on the bike to go on a trip. So, they're going back on eBay..

    one of the worst saddlebags out there, didnt last me the 2 week riding vacation i had, the rain cover over got shredded when i rode the highway at 130 km. the connection points got torn up aswell had to resort to other fastening means. The zippers caught dirt and debris then stopped working. Worst purchase i've had in a long time...

    • @gregtoope
      @gregtoope  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use mine strictly for commuting to work. So far they have worked very well. I put my hard bags on when I'm going on a longer trip, this way they are completely waterproof and are way more secure. Can't get into them without a key! You can't expect much more than a commuter set of saddlebags for the price.

    Bought them Banggood, they ripped at the first trip. They are fine to carry a t-shirt or two, not more. The are not keeping the form and and fall apart. I have to throw them away. Banggood would look into the matter if I would provide the address label with the barcode on it (what for?), the one I threw away some time ago. So keep the packaging materials, all of it, like a pack rat.

    Those are identical to the “JIASPEED” ones i just got from ebay …theres like 7 buckle strap/clips im trying to figure out .mine came with directions that looked exactly like the direction card U flashed quickly in the beginning,but mine are in some asian writing with like 1 or 2 words in english below pics of straps that are miss spelled and or not helpful and theres no clear pics of the straps mounted… hence why im here,i paused video to comment. Hopefully further into video you have a “how to” as ive never had any sort of saddlebags before and to guess seems like ill end up spending half a day to “maybe” get it mounted correctly ….but probably still not 100% lol 🤦🏼‍♂️😜🤷🏼‍♂️
