Going to the UK, no passport, no visa, no problem just get a small boat from Calais, you also get a free hotel room, food and mobile phone.

There are 2 more exceptions from ETA in the UK.
You don't need ETA if you have settled/pre-settled status under withdrawal agreement.
You also don't need ETA if you have ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain).
The same system works in US, Canada and Australia.
It just helps to check people in Interpol and PNC (Police National Computer) before they board an aircraft.

I didn't check all of the holidays but quite a lot and they are all around £800 some just room only. But great video as always. Very informative. I have last week driven down from UK to the south of France stopping off at Remis, near Lyon, and Sète south of France. for the Corsica ferry to Alcudia. I used the motorways all the way down and the tolls were €116 for the trip using a toll card rather than paying at the booths. Also, it is nice to clear French customs in Folkestone and return UK customs in Calais. I love flying, but would most likely drive down again. It was soooo easy for the drive down, I found and I am on my own with my small dog in Cala Millor. Great Channel and been subscribed for a good while now.

I can see places being set up in the UK and Europe where one can register to get things done before travel, so when at the port of departure, one will be able to go straight through and do a fingerprint scan.

ETIAS is not an issue at all, it should be quick to obtain and is good value. The UK is jumping on the bandwagon with a travel tax, no other explanation as we have had advanced passenger disclosure for years permitting security checks. Nothing has changed, simply added £10 for nothing. We are now in the tax mode here in the UK. If it moves tax it, if it stays still tax it. Tax it anyway. We are leaving Exeter tomorrow at 06.05 for Palma then 10 days in Port de Soller. Not long now. Thanks for the update.

I know you want to be dramatic to make a story but I can't imagine people having to pay 1
£10 for visas is going to stop people going on there holiday. As brits to go to most the world we have to pay for a visa and esta or entry tax or check of some sort. It does ts top us flying all over the world. Stop trying to panic people if people really love a holiday but refuse to pay a 10 quid visa fair w ough but don't think many will care

Sorry you’ve entirely missed my point. It’s one of those things that can trip people up when travelling - imagine leaving it too late to apply for this visa waiver or because of demand or systems failure and the authorisation doesn’t come through in time . Imagine people forgetting or not knowing about this and being sent back at the border. Imagine people needing to travel urgently and the authorisation not coming through. Etc etc. Also for transiting passengers too - this is a new one. Will it affect the lucrative school travel programmes from across the water as it’s more admins teachers don’t need . So I’m just putting the info out there . It’s not really about it costing a tenner.

@@MallorcaUnderTheSun if you think people or teachers will be put of visiting a country because of having to fill I'm a basic form it won't. In your video you don't mention atall people forgetting or getting it wrong you just make it sound like people having to complete a simple form at very cheap cost will effectively people deciding to travel which is very over dramatic. I love your videos normally but they don't need made up drama!!
