It’s one of those things that can trip people up when travelling - imagine leaving it too late to apply for this visa waiver or because of demand or systems failure and the authorisation doesn’t come through in time . Imagine people forgetting or not knowing about this and being sent back at the border. Imagine people needing to travel urgently and the authorisation not coming through. Etc etc. Also for transiting passengers too - this is a new one. Will it affect the lucrative school travel programmes from across the water as it’s more admins teachers don’t need . So I’m just putting the info out there . It’s not really about it costing a tenner.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun if you think people or teachers will be put of visiting a country because of having to fill I'm a basic form it won't. In your video you don't mention atall people forgetting or getting it wrong you just make it sound like people having to complete a simple form at very cheap cost will effectively people deciding to travel which is very over dramatic. I love your videos normally but they don't need made up drama!!
"To help prevent misuse of our immigration system " it already is being abused!! 😂

Unfortunately after the debacle in pourto pollensa earlier this year iam afraid after 40 years of visiting Majorca it's time for a change so we're off to Menorca instead and hopefully the local councils there will treat tourists with a bit more respect ie a functional beach for one ,but never say never 😢
Let me know what you think about Menorca !
Lol imagination system😂
