    I’ve basically learned how to cook watching you. My mom passed away when I was young and I relied on othered to prepare meals for the holidays. This year I’ve been cooking and standing on my own. Thanks for what you do.

    I promise you remind me SOoooooo much of my favorite cousin Jerry. You even sound like him. He’s and his wife are both top tier cooks…and they’ve been building their catering business and I’m so proud of them. I’m also happy to see you build your empire too! It’s inspiring!

    You can also boil your chicken or throw it in the crockpot and let it go for a while and make your own broth. That’s what I do every thanksgiving. I make my dressing very similar. If you boil your chicken you’ll have enough homemade broth for all of your dishes. I always boil 10 pounds of chicken the day before then I debone it and have plenty of chicken and broth and I freeze what I don’t use for later. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

      Yes, I add green pepper and poultry seasoning. I'll try fresh sage. I don't have to add meat.

    Now that’s the exact version of cornbread dressing I LOVE!! My mother made hers that way. I don’t care for the version made with the “cream of” soups, although there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, to each their own. I’m going to make your cranberry sauce also. Thanks again, Chef.👍🏿💯💯

      Right! my grandma never put soup in hers and it was always bomb and moist! Its hard for some to accept there are multiple ways to make something. Its all about what your family traditions are and taste. Happy Thanksgiving! ❤

I have made dressings with cream soups and without cream soups. The dressings turned out fine. My family and friends enjoyed both dressings. We need to embrace one another and stop criticizing each other...

      I tell you what... you make your dressing ahead and make sure it's cooked and then you put in in the turkey, too. I figure AB is gonna cook about 6 turkeys to go with that amount of dressing/stuffing, and he says he makes two of them, wow.

      He doesn't change his gloves. And he touches everything! Good job with the recipe, though. I never tried that. I always like seafood in my dressing. But that's just me.

    Hey Ab I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you taking the mystery out of cooking. I have been following you for a long time and I made my entire Thanksgiving dinner with so many of your recipes from candid yams to the corn bread, dressing, and so much more. You are truly a gift from God! I have never made an entire Thanksgiving meal until I followed you. A lot of my family members didn’t believe that I would cook an entire dinner, especially on Thanksgiving!!!They did not know I had a secret weapon that was you and your amazing channel!     I was always nervous about making dressing until you did something that just said you don’t have to be afraid the way you did. It was so simple. I’m watch my mom on my life making dress and I never been able to do it right until now. Thank you so much I don’t wish for much I’ve in fact, I only wish for good health, but I wish I could’ve smelled that dressing cooking while you was making it. I know the kitchen smell good thank you so much for simplifying these recipes that you do now I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to do it right but I tell you what I’m going to try never say never and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and God bless everyone that’s reading this.

    I neva have made cornbread dressing fron corn bread i normally,use pepperidge farm bread crumbs , add cooked Turkey meat to dressing ,and add turkey Stock! 😋 its also delicious, but i want to try , Your Cornbread dressing from cornbread it looks delicious 😋 thank you chef❤👍

    I make mine similar to this, only 2 things I do differently are add the egg at the end AFTER the seasonings then bake it COVERED first so the eggs cook thoroughly..then bake it the rest of the way uncovered. Love your channel pls keep it up!

    Its so weird that people complain about the cornbread being simple. Sometimes less is more! If you really know how to cook, you dont need to be extra 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ back in the day, our parents, grands and beyond were on a budget. They brought what was within their means, kept it simple and it was still delicious and full of flavor. If you need 20 ingredients to make cornbread taste good, you cant cook period 😂

    AB you know some of us travel a ways for our family thanksgiving; so we GOTTA get at least one plate to go. It would be cool to see a video of either a) how to just reheat the traditional thanksgiving food or b) what neat ideas for using the leftovers to make a new meal. Love your show and the tv network.     I love your channel, u taught me how to cook. I'm gonna make this. I only made dressing once and it was someone else recipe that used a can of cream of chicken and cream of celery. I like the simplicity of yours.

      Here in Australia 🇦🇺, Thanksgiving Dinner isn’t that BIG, but in our home, my mum has always encouraged us to be thankful for everything, especially food! Now we know how to make a very special day of it, with these recipes we’ll be thankful till we ‘splode!!!! 😝😝👏🎈💋🤜🤛💋🎈✌️

    For me, what you did + I add Jimmy Dean sage pork sausage & boiled & chopped chicken gizzards. Cream of chicken/Celery. I don't add chicken, but this looks delicious 😋

    Looks great. In all my Alabama years 😂😂 I’ve never added eggs before. But you are correct, simple is best sometimes. I like to spice my dressing with jalapeño peppers.

    My son is allergic to particular leafy seasonings--sage being one of them. I like finding ways to get that Thanksgiving feel WITHOUT using sage. Thank you.

    My momma and my grandmother always made their cornbread dressing with cornbread &little biscuits or toast white sandwiches bread with nothing but onion and a capon or hen broth grandma didn't have celery back in f day momma upgrade to celery and crumbs in d box but like u said to each his or her own but you is a great cook

    I like to use different colors of bell pepper. A big hit with Mama and them.
