How I reset the error codes on GE washer

I am NOT an appliance technician and you should not listen to me. I am simply sharing my story about how our GE washer suddenly and inexplicably stopped working and how I got it back in service. Please consult a proper applicant technician. This happened several months back and so part of this is from memory. I cannot provide sound advice on how to troubleshoot your washer problem. I can show you the steps I took to fix mine. Ours worked great after I reset the error codes.
GE washer code 26 / 19 / 14 troubleshooting
26 = unbalanced load
19 = machine paused for more than 24 hours or water in tub
14 = water level sensor fault
Machine would randomly try to drain but no water visible in tub.
Lid was locked and would not unlock.
Power reset / pull didnt work
Entering consumer mode :Press start key for 10 seconds
Read the error code from the machine (mine was 26, 19, then 14)
press power to exit
To enter technician mode
Hold start and turn cycle selection counterclockwise 7 clicks and release start button
Correct / test issues
Press and hold Start/Pause until E00 displays.
