It's also why the Sequel were stupid. The point of Luke is he elevated the Jedi Order by talking the good of their philosophy and perfecting it. But the sequels had him repeat the exact same mistakes of the Jedi of old, which goes against his entire character arc in Episode VI. Luke was the best of all Jedi. This is literally perfect. I truly believe that not only is this a masterpiece. But also what they would sing if star wars was a absolute Disney franchise
Man, I absolutely loved the sequels, I still do, but this kinda brought me clarity on why people hate the sequels, and why I might hate it, This gave me clarity on the fate of the Jedi Order, and how all of Luke's training, and Vader's sacrifice would be nothing, and how the Jedi Order still got destroyed even under Luke's guidance.
I totally agree with you. Fans from the 70s and 80s waited decades to see a Jedi Order rising up from the ashes in full force, with Luke at the helm. Instead, we get a farce of a story about it failed and how the group that won the war with the Empire was basically on the run again from fragments of the empire.
Yup, that's pretty much why so many fans were devastated to see Luke was a sad old man who accomplished nothing. It was crushing because it made the 6 movies that came before feel meaningless. So many character fought and died and it ultimately achieved nothing. The New Republic fell, the Empire came right back, the Jedi were still extinct and now Luke, the guy who never stopped believing there was good in Darth Vader, thinks it's pointless to fight because no matter what anyone does you will always lose. Seeing Luke turn immoral was even worse than seeing him die. It really made a lot of fans feel like giving up hope and that so so fundamentally wrong when Star Wars is saga all that is all about hope. And reversing the victory of the OT basally puts a huge question mark on the ending of Star Wars forever after. Like the sequels ended with Paplatine dying, Rey setting out to train a new generation, and a new Republic being established. That's exactly how the OT ended, who's to say in 20 years disney won't make a Sequel *Sequel* trilogy and erase this happy ending? Palpatine could come right back to life, Rey will give up and say it's time for the Jedi to end, and the Empire will come back and all the characters form the sequels will have died for nothing. It just creates an endless cycle of nothing changing and no permanent victory. You can't trust any happy ending because now sequels might come along to erase them. And people would be rightly mad about a future trilogy easing the happy ending of the squeals. Well that's how people feel about the happy ending of the OT being raised after 40 years.
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi I feel like it could’ve worked if they’d compromised. Luke’s Jedi Order is alive but in seclusion, choosing to study the Force instead of applying it in the Galaxy, with Luke believing that Jedi involvement is what ruined things in the first place. "It's time to take down the dark side of... THE FOOOOOORCE!!!"
*Force Lightning Sounds*
I don't know how it's possible but I think I love Star Wars even more now
How this was uploaded FOUR YEARS AGO and I'm only discovering it today it's beyond me. Awesome job!!!
-Mom: Honey, did you...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU HANDSTAND?
-Me: I am training, mother tell me more about my father.
-Mom: He is downstairs fixing the sink.
-Dad: Miriam, what is going on?
-Mom: Your son saw another fan made song about Star Wars. in You Tube.
-Dad: No the seagull shit again.
-Me: THAT LOG HAD A CHILD!
I watched the Seagull parody too and showed it to my dad 😂
Dad: seriously is this what you watch on TH-cam?
XD HAHAHA
*THE INSTRUMENTALS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD*
This is literally perfect. I truly believe that not only is this a masterpiece. But also what they would sing if star wars was a absolute Disney franchise
2:40 Hitler just casually chilling in the background.
when u realize a hitlers is rebel... u know sith lords are really bad people xD
I was going to say that
Netanyel Rucker lol
WTF
LordRinkashi No, that means the Rebels were the bad guys
i din't think id call that a parody, it was way too epic and perfect
This proves a Star Wars musical would be awesome.
Friend: Hey so what do you normally watch on TH-cam
Me: ...
My brain: Yoda singing in a normal voice!!!
Me: It's complicated
Yoda sounds like the Nostalgia Critic 😂
Every single time I listen to this I get chills, literal chills and goosebumps.
The vocal thing yoda does when he sings destiny the first time is amazing
"Your father's midichlorian count was off the scale" - this always cracks me up :D
The force is strong in that one
“I’ll help you take down the dark side of ..the FORCE!!”
Chills 🙌 😌❤️🔥
Yoda singing sounds like Marvin the Martian.
I have a theory that Yoda is actually a Martian
Yoda sounds like the Nostalgia Critic 😂
Hoi
Scenes: back when star wars was great

You rocked every freaking lyrics, and the clip is awesomely well done.
Seriously you guys are the best.
Well, Mon Calamari Opera School will do that for you.
somehow this was really quite emotional for me. I loved Starwars my whole life... until the dark times, before Disney.
A parody that has been a long time waiting and the wait was worth it
i just teared up after let it flow and this lol. This is like super funny but also makes me emotional at the same time. Great work guys!
This is Gold!! Waiting for this for a very long time and it didn't disappoint!
I HAVE WAITED FOUR, NO! FIVE THOUSAND YEARS FOR THIS!
Okuyasu?!
Yoda singing opera is a combination I never could have imagined, but it works so well
Vader’s Reaction:”Impressive,most impressive.”
Now I want a version of a Clone trooper Drill Sergeant on Kamino singing "I'll make a clone out of you" XD
Agreed... that would be amazing
@@trevinodude "You're the BADDEST BATCH I've ever met!.." XD *fast forward to later where Clone Force 99 comes in*
Temuera Morrison actually can sing, that would be interesting
" My final quest before i die "

Stephen Hawking could have cleared that bar.
A true masterpiece. It’s a joke but yet so serious..
Dude this is truly amazing
Now I want my school to have a Star Wars musical and I will happily be a clone or Anakin (for the youngling part)
Finally! a full version of the Star Wars Mulan Parody
Congratulations on that obi wan voice, it really sounds like Ewan McGregor
Man, I absolutely loved the sequels, I still do, but this kinda brought me clarity on why people hate the sequels, and why I might hate it, This gave me clarity on the fate of the Jedi Order, and how all of Luke's training, and Vader's sacrifice would be nothing, and how the Jedi Order still got destroyed even under Luke's guidance.
(Sidenote: When Yoda said "we are the last if the jedi order" with Obi-Wan's death in the background made me think about this whole thing)
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi wise words from a wise master
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi I feel like it could’ve worked if they’d compromised. Luke’s Jedi Order is alive but in seclusion, choosing to study the Force instead of applying it in the Galaxy, with Luke believing that Jedi involvement is what ruined things in the first place. He trains Rey and is reignited by her determination to set things right, and chooses to leave with her to lead from the frontlines. It didn’t have to be one extreme or the other. Just because Rian Johnson didn’t want to portray OP Luke doesn’t mean he had to turn him into a depressed hermit.
It's been 84 years!!!!
And Yod sings like he's in his 60s!
Coach Lombardi pretty good for a 900 year old!
Fine editing! I remember seeing "Let It Flow" some years back. Nice to see another.
that was frickin amazing! I was pretending I had a lightsaber and slashing it around and singing the song all at once!
Lol me 😂😁
"Kinda think I'm someones brother"
That made me laugh so hard😂😂
I didn't get this line. I may have missed some info in some movies that would make this line make sense.
