Super Mean Bass in Ableton Wavetable - And How to Avoid Phasing Issues

In This video I'm designing a really Dirty and distorted Bass in Wavetable. Also what's most important, I'm showing how to avoid phasing issues that may cause your bass to "disappear" on a mono speaker, like in a Club.

@@airfixx_8952 I still feel confused but haven’t got into much detail. I feel that the changes are mostly cosmetic, but I’ll be able to tell more after some time. Now trying to survive December 😅 busy + sick 😒 ah well, life 😉

I would love to know how to make Acid Bass and Braam bass sounds that have eluded me for some time. I cannot get it to sound right. I am rather new to Ableton Synths and that may be my problem. I also wanted to make a light airy drone but it always comes out rather dark (horror is a better word according to my grand daughter :)). Having fun but still lost in the world of sound design. It is hit or miss.

I’ll see what I can do. Well with the light drones what you can try is to not do so much pitch fluctuations (drift, detune), play higher notes (one or 2 at a time to start) and experiment with long reverb (Valhalla supermassive -free) but I’ll see, maybe I’ll make a quick video one day 👍 all the best. 🤘😂
