You are one the coolest teachers in my opinion. Been playing music for over 20 years in the underground scene. Dove back into Live after playing live sets using Ableton 6 back in the days. This is a totally different world now. I have learned so mach cool stuff because of you. Super grateful for humans like you.
As a much older person who has just returned to Ableton Live after 10 years, I am really appreciating your teaching style. Fresh, entertaining and easy to follow. Admittedly I have to pause/rewind/repeat quite a few times but I find it easy to watch several times in a row. Well done and thank you.
Thx man! Once again the Compressor Tip which i now internalized :) So much fun to see you having fun! Great plugin, great session; on Sunday i was waiting for another live, then repeated watching some older sessions. Thx for the great work! You rock!
Great content as usual, but must say how much I love your editing, zooming etc in the video. Really good and helps so much towards the whole video, keep it up. Thanks
Nice looking device, cheers! Just to maybe point out a slight technical thing though... If you export midi from a device which has Scale (or any other midi effect) inserted after it, then you can't delete those midi fx without stripping whatever they were doing from your sound. You had midi events triggered by Sting which were then put into a different scale by Scale, but you exported the uneffected midi from Sting and deleted Scale, giving you a midi clip minus the midi effect. If you export then you need to keep the midi fx active or record midi to a new channel and copy it back over.
Thanks for the heads up on this max4live device. I’ve got a microfreak and it does sound very similar but there is an immediacy that comes with this software which I like. Sounds a little too clean out of the box for my personal taste but nothing a bit of grit and roar won’t cure. Nice one.
Thank you very much for the content. although somehow I couldn't get it work. It is armed and triggered by midi notes but no sound comes from the output.
yo, Hamburg dude!!! thanks for reminding me of that... Max device!!! use the J74 Bassline max device... and on the back, your Echo setting that you posted a few weeks ago!! Cheers from Berlin!!
Have to agree with @JazzMan242 below...top notch. Love your fun style and appreciate your video production effort and quality. Screen zoom, keystrokes, and your descriptions make the videos great. After being with Studio One for more than a decade, I just made the move to Live and love it. One reason...I wanted more fun in my workflow and this was a great example of just that. Cheers!

Amazing. Glad to have you here! :)
That sting scene! LOL, i couldn't agree more. I use it for vocals, grooves, everything in between.
Thanks for all that you do.
Thanks for the comment! Sting is a beast ;)

I love how you show the shortcuts on the screen. For a noob in Ableton (me) that's super useful!
Thanks for your feedback! :)
Great content man! I'm discovering a lot of cool things through your videos :d
Love it! I’ll be giving this one a try for sure. That Sting device is also very cool for generating ideas. ❤

Yeah. It makes sense to resample midi into a new track to avoid any sorts of issues 👍🏼

Cheers mate. How come it didn't work? Maybe check your routing? Maybe because it's not going into the Master directly?

Best video. Interesting
Thanks for the comment! :)
Is it compatible with Logic Pro X?
Nope. Max for Live is exclusive to Ableton Live.
I own a real Plaits, courious to see how this sounds :)
Cheers for the comment, man. Yeah it’s actually a great alternate vst 😉
😂👍✨ Du liebst was du machst…
Auf jeden Fall :)
Hey ist dieser flechtwerk nicht für die standart verion verfügbar?
Can I use Max 4 Live devices in Ableton 11 Standard?
It should work in Live 11 standard, yeah. I believe you'll need Live 10 Suite and above to use Max For Live.
@@lotustunesacademy it works even though M4L’s website says it should in Standard. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the tip!
Can’t drag it in in another project, guess I’ll need to upgrade during the next sale. 🤷🏻♂️
