      Not over 60 yet. Your comment on my last video was about this too. If you're bothered by it, I'm not quite sure why you watched this video & commented. It's ok to just ignore my content that comes up & move on. You do know that every comment helps me, even if it's negative? So I guess I should say thank you so much Belinda.

    ❤So glad you are feeling better.🙏 Today your hair looks so pretty. Your skin, without makeup, looks so nice💃. The red eyelids and the red under your eyes are gone. I hope you can do a video showing what you have actually used step by step in the morning and evening . I know it's hard with all the products changing 24/7, but it would be nice to see what you have been consistent with, especially with whatever " magic" ingredients you used with your eye care and overall skin beauty. All TH-camrs push products to use, but another bare face step by step A.M. and P.M. would be great from you. We don't care if your hands shake, we love you and your real honesty ❤❤️.🎉

    I had a severe issue with hair loss after having had covid.... the gift that keeps on giving...lol I went down the rabbit hole looking for anything that would work to regrow my hair and I started taking these supplements. I will say it worked phenomenally well. I have nearly no hair loss at all now. Here is what I was taking. 1. Complete Omega, Lemon Flavor - 16 oz - 1270 mg Omega-3 - EPA & DHA with Added GLA - Healthy Skin & Joints, Cognition, Positive Mood - Non-GMO - 96 Servings 2.NOW Saw palmetto berries 3. iron....an extremely low dose 4. Spirulina 100% pure organic 5. Biotin and Keratin mix I started this 2 years ago and currently I only take the Omega and Saw Palmetto. I also take a Colligan peptide powder plus I use hair strengthening shampoo. I don't use conditioners because I lose some hair every single time I do, I have no idea why. So, I use a leave in conditioner instead. Works great.

    I always followed that I didn’t to wash in the morning at this age. But you being up g good points. I spend so much in my morning skincare but off the night isn’t off, I’m wasting my money. Especially with the vitamin C. Thanks for the guidance.

      Yes, me too! I’m 66 and my skin is SO dry so all my night skincare penetrates.
      I’ve followed aged influencers for some years now and as you age with dry skin you don’t cleanse in the AM bc you wash the naturals oils that are good for your skin off that helps with your dry skin. Hope that makes sense😆
      Now I’m rethinking 🤔

      One of the points I heard recently is think of what's on your pillow case. If you're not changing it every single night, your face is getting dirty. And we do have 8 hours of oxidative stress even at nighttime. Just food for thought. But I definitely say do what works best for you.

    Great video Melissa talking about skincare, I’m a skincare junkie Lol 😂 and I’m always trying out different products and brands, I absolutely love the Photozyme DNA repair serum that Penne has spoken about on her channel, I must of gone through two bottles of it so far and noticed a difference in my skin when I wasn’t using it, once I started back incorporating it into my morning and evening routine, my skin loves me for it, it’s a standout product that I would highly recommend all mature beauties to incorporate into their daily skincare routine, I also love Calecim multi action cream, it’s a cream texture but is an actual serum, I have noticed a big difference in my neck from this product, I apply it after my Essence, I’m like you, I have to cleanse morning and double cleansing at night. Hope you’re having a Great Weekend and have a Great Week ahead. Cheers from Nellie xoxo 💜💜🌸🌸🇦🇺

    I think what is so important in the morning cleanse for dry skin is to use a super gentle cleanser. I also just stumbled upon a great exfoliating method that is super gentle yet effective and that is to use a microfiber washcloth. I use the ones from dollar tree, the ones that are like 4 for 1.25. I cannot use just any microfiber washcloth though because some of them are very drying. You just have to find the ones that work for you.

    Your hair oils/products, drool (sorry lol), sweat from hot flashes, and anything on your pillowcase from the night before will also be plastered against your face all night. Hot stuff over here, I know 😂 Just don’t over think it and wash your face in the mornings ladies, something gentle works 🙂

    What do you think about a moisturizer with vitamin c ans a retinoid already in it?

    • @MrsMelissaM
      @MrsMelissaM  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally think we need serums that are seperate from our moisturizer. That way we get maximum benefits from the thinner formulas penetrating better.

    Is red light therapy in itself just as effective as the mask?

    • @MrsMelissaM
      @MrsMelissaM  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The masks are specifically designed with the right amount of light to penetrate the skin. Do a little research on the topic. But my first thoughts are no, they aren't the same.

    I have to wash my face in the am, I feel so refreshed. I wouldn’t have a good makeup day if I didn’t wash in the am. That advice is the dumbest thing I’ve heard in skincare. What’s next we don’t use any skincare in the am, I mean come on, really?😂

    I use a retinal instead of retinol a retinal cream/serum is less harsh on the skin and has less side effects always start retinal/retinol with the lowest dose and build it up over time as your skin gets used to it never start on a high dose as this could cause inflammation which will affect your skin barrier.

    You might want to find a different brand of silica. The Cellfood brand contains deuterium sulfate, which is sulfuric acid-D2. This is from the National Institutes of Health page on this substance:
    Reacts exothermically with water; Causes burns; Inhalation may cause corrosive injuries to upper respiratory tract and lungs; [Alfa Aesar MSDS] See Sulfuric acid. See Deuterium.
    Sulfuric acid is used in drain cleaner. 😯
