Great job Tyson! I can add, when roughing off the face stock on the 2nd op, face towards the chuck, and not down. This helps keep your part from pulling out of the jaws. Leave a small amount for a final skim pass downward like you did. Thank you!

1-When roughing the 2 angled front faces you are milling a little bit of air. You can save some time by trimming the toolpath to the stock. I use Hypermill and you have the option to add raw material to 2D jobs such as contour milling.
2-You say thay the clamping is not very stable but i notice that you are cutting the 2 flat sides with the same 2" milling head going from the clamping out thus making a full cut and sending the load outwards. I would have gone the other way around to avoid vibration. For finishing too.
3- why make the front radius with a ball mill when you could use a long flute endmill and soulder both faces and the radius? Could be from 2 sides if the machine geometry is good and the tolerances wide enough.
Not a hater but a fan. I'm just trying to criticize constructively.

I somewhat disagree. There’s a lot of content out there on how to get a Tormach or Haas 3-Axis going, but as soon as you step up to 5 axis the material dries up. Multi-axis machines are becoming increasingly accessible and relevant compared with only a few years ago.
For the rest of us? Yeah it’s just fun to watch these cool machines do their thing.
