OMG, I had such a crush on Shania Twain in the late '90s. I sold cars for a bit and a couple who bought a car from me worked at a print shop where they made calendars and had one with Shania Twain in his trunk and gave it to me as they moved their stuff to the new car. I treasure it to this day.

Shania Twain was a big deal in the mid 90's to early 2000's... She was the queen of country/pop. " From this Moment On " is one of my all-time favorite songs by her. Love Shania!!!
Shania Twain charted 19 singles featuring 3 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1995 - 2004. "That Don't Impress Me Much" was the last Top 10 peaking @ #7 in 1999.
Shania Twain is a huge Canadian singer songwriter with hundreds of hit songs. She is one of the best selling artists in country pop history. She had a very tragic life, lost her mom & stepfather in 1987 & had to look after her younger siblings. In 1993 she released her first album & the rest, as they say, is history.
Love Shania. There are two versions of this song using the same video. The popular version that charted very highly worldwide was far rockier than this which is the country version. Amazing how many country music so called ‘fans’ never seem to forgive her for crossing the divide. She is fantastic live as well.
Well, a reason for people not liking it is because of what we see now. Country has been eaten away by pop, essentially making today's top country songs pop-country. People who want pure country have to go seek out independent artists for what they want, which is both good and bad. But country music today is pretty split, and that's not always a good thing.
@@BigFry9591 I think Country Pop started because the popularity of traditional Country was waning / entering into a niche market / not gaining in popularity. Country Pop could get people introduced to a more country sound & possibly get them more interested in traditional Country. I enjoy both types of music but Country Pop more, it blends country pop and rock, meets in the middle between the three which I think is a very nice sound. Traditional Country music needs to stay though, good to see a few young artists staying with the old style & keeping it alive.
The 90's had amazing country artists; Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, The Dixie Chicks, and Brooks and Dunn. You will love them all.

Great reaction! I just love this song. Another Shania song I love "From This Moment On" but I prefer the album version, which is a duet to the solo music video version.
Huge huge crush on her when I was younger and she first come out. Obviously! I never noticed how much she changed from her earlier stuff looks wise. She looks totally different. Not a bad thing. Check out her first stuff like “whose bed have your boots been under” or “any man of mine”. It may just be for the video. I love the spunk she exerts in this video. Heart eyes again for me 😍
You two are the highlight of my day. It's so fun watching you react to music that the rest of us have known for years. Many artists and songs transcend decades. Check out Shania's background - she's a Phoenix that rose from the ashes to take the world by Storm. God Bless!
First I have to say thank you to my American brothers and sisters for wishing us happy Canada Day. Shania Twain her first album I believe was produced by or directed by Bo Derek's husband John Derek. But she was also never given a lot of credit or thanks from the country music because they did consider her more rock and I believe it was Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton that stood up for her just saying anyways I think you guys are such an awesome couple you guys will be together forever, God bless
Yes! Shania is queen! Some other up tempo songs would be "any man of mine", "whose bed have your boots been under", "party for two" (I prefer the duet with billy currington over mark mcgrath), "honey im home", "up" (the song that got me into shania), but if you want to slow it down to some love songs I recommend "you're still the one", "From this moment on", "forever and for always", and "when you kiss me".
The two songs you have reacted to show Shania in her playful and upbeat mode. Great songs. For an opposite look check out the Shania song "Don't". In "Don't" she is on a completely track, begging a lover to stay and to forgive her. Awesome video to go with it. Lyrics to die for.
I had to go check that out for myself and it's definitely pop-ier!! It has that classic late 90's euro pop sound haha. Grew up in Canada so never heard it before so thanks, cool discovery!
Just recently discovered your channel! I LOVE IT, and your reactions! You both do a great job on these videos. I was born in the 60's, so watching you'all hear the songs I grew up with for the first time, is wonderful! Thank you for all the joy you bring to people :) I will keep listening & watching & smiling :) (I just get a kick out of you both---you both are very genuine)
Shania has so many good songs - (If Your're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!, Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under and Dance With The One That Brought You. Thank you for the video Jay & Amber, I just love your energy!
Since listening to singers Céline Dion, Corey Hart, Men Without Hats (and not Men With No Hats), Alanis Morissette and Shania Twain, you have discovered canadian production, so I suggest you complete your experience by going from happy surprise to happy surprise with these few other pearls from the Province of Quebec: - APRIL WINE, "Rock N' Roll Is a Vicious Game" - LEONARD COHEN, "You Want It Darker" - FRANK MARINO & MAHOGANY RUSH, "Dragonfly" - RUFUS WAINWRICHT, "Going To A Town" - THE BOX, "Closer Together" - GINO VANNELLI, "I Just Wanna Stop" Thank you for celebrating Canada Day.
“From this Moment On” was a duet she did with Bryan White. It is a beautiful song with wonderful lyrics! She did a version by herself but I much prefer the duet.
What's cool about Shania is, she's like a different woman in every video. Always a very hot woman, but a different one in each video. You gotta do more of her.
More Shania She's Got The Look and She Impresses ME Much. She got me interested in Country Music back in the 90's-2000's. Try Lionel an Shania "Endless Love"
I have this theory.... I feel that Rock, Country, R&B, and Gospel are VERRRRY closely related---that's why, IMO, you hear influences, in each! I'm so glad you liked this!! ❤️
As others have said Shania Twain isn’t just a great singer she also has a really inspiring life story. She did come from very humble beginnings and worked very hard to get where she is. Additionally, she took on the task of raising her younger siblings after her mother and her adoptive father were killed in a car accident. She was 22 at the time and had just started to make a name for herself in the Toronto music scene. Shania moved back home to take care of her younger brothers and sisters. She supported them by singing at a resort and finished raising them until they were all old enough to move out on their own. Only then did she go back to trying to make it big in music, which of course she did! I saw Shania in a live concert about 15 years ago and she was the most amazing live performer I have ever seen. Her show was high energy, fun, and so Entertaining. She is one of my all-time favorites and I’m glad you reviewed this song and I hope you review more of hers very soon.
Love this one! Correct me if I'm wrong but Shania Twain I believe was the first person to introduce Country/Pop to the world. She was the first to combine the two and clearly slays it. Love the reaction guys! 😍
The Woman in Me, When You Kiss Me, From This Moment, If You’re Not in It For Love (I’m Outta Here). This woman has far too many hits to list. But please stay on this journey. She’s a hell of an artist and songwriter.
"The Woman In Me (Needs the Man in You)". Honestly, any one that you chose, I think you guys will love. I guess today my mom's trying to reach out. She started my day with a George Strait reaction (our second concert) and now Shania (my first with mama). Her death anniversary is coming up and I just found out I'm pregnant. We rode around with the top down of her Saturn when I was little and just blared this album. Great memories. -Amber
I have loved her since the '90s. My favorite song is Any Man of Mine and I remember the controversy of that music video because she wore a shirt that showed her belly button. You two are the highlight of my day. It's so fun watching you react to music that the rest of us have known for years. Many artists and songs transcend decades. Check out Shania's background - she's a Phoenix that rose from the ashes to take the world by Storm. God Bless!
My wife took me to one of her concerts in Dallas for my birthday many years ago. It was a fantastic show. She is fantastic, and she can sing too.:-)
Yes, agree with Dusty, 'Your still the one'' is also my favorite of her..
Shania is one of my idols 😁 She's awesome 👍
Shania Twain is one of the best female artists of all times. Ever.
If you're not in it for love, I'm outta here, is a GREAT jam by Shania!
Its a MUST listen...my favorite song of hers!
She's amazing! Beautiful and talented!!
Love Shania. Another super fun one is "Having A Party" with Billy Currington. ❤❤❤ that one!
It's called "Party For Two". She also did a pop version with Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray
"I'm Holding On To Love" and "From This Moment On" are another two Shania Twain essentials
The two songs you have reacted to show Shania in her playful and upbeat mode. Great songs. For an opposite look check out the Shania song "Don't". In "Don't" she is on a completely track, begging a lover to stay and to forgive her. Awesome video to go with it. Lyrics to die for.
Love Shania Twain and this is a great song. Try, I'm Gonna Get You Good.
Australia and Europe got a "poppier" version of this song, I recommend you check it out. My personal favourite song by her is "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!"
I dig the video for that.
@@fnjesusfreak same
BTW, they played the pop remix on the Top 40 station here (WKSE Kiss 98.5), and it's the version I was more familiar with originally.
Right, thought this sounded way more country than I remembered.
I had to go check that out for myself and it's definitely pop-ier!! It has that classic late 90's euro pop sound haha. Grew up in Canada so never heard it before so thanks, cool discovery!
“From This Moment On” is a great song by Shania that everyone was using for their weddings in the late 90s and even beyond.
We all love Shania ❤
“From this moment” is an amazing ballad, it’s about her parents that died in a car accident
Just recently discovered your channel! I LOVE IT, and your reactions! You both do a great job on these videos. I was born in the 60's, so watching you'all hear the songs I grew up with for the first time, is wonderful!
Thank you for all the joy you bring to people :) I will keep listening & watching & smiling :)
(I just get a kick out of you both---you both are very genuine)
Shania is a wonderful singer. She sings : For this Moment , I am having a Party.
Shania has so many good songs - (If Your're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!, Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under and Dance With The One That Brought You. Thank you for the video Jay & Amber, I just love your energy!
Since listening to singers Céline Dion, Corey Hart, Men Without Hats (and not Men With No Hats), Alanis Morissette and Shania Twain, you have discovered canadian production, so I suggest you complete your experience by going from happy surprise to happy surprise with these few other pearls from the Province of Quebec:
- APRIL WINE, "Rock N' Roll Is a Vicious Game"
- LEONARD COHEN, "You Want It Darker"
- FRANK MARINO & MAHOGANY RUSH, "Dragonfly"
- RUFUS WAINWRICHT, "Going To A Town"
- THE BOX, "Closer Together"
- GINO VANNELLI, "I Just Wanna Stop"
Thank you for celebrating Canada Day.
She had a great song before her 1st #1 called Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under. 👢 Gotta check it out!
“Any Man of mine” is a good one to do eventually, but “you’re still the one” is the next one for sure.
“From this Moment On” was a duet she did with Bryan White. It is a beautiful song with wonderful lyrics! She did a version by herself but I much prefer the duet.
*Shania Twain is one of the best country singers.*
What's cool about Shania is, she's like a different woman in every video. Always a very hot woman, but a different one in each video. You gotta do more of her.
I recommend Shania Twain's Chicago 2003 concert, it's incredible. Greetings from Argentina
More Shania She's Got The Look and She Impresses ME Much. She got me interested in Country Music back in the 90's-2000's. Try Lionel an Shania "Endless Love"
Amber is rocking the perfect T-Shirt! Definitely truth in advertising! Love you both keep making the world a better place!
Love Shania and hope you'll listen to more! To hear another side of her, check out "From This Moment On", which is a very moving love song.
She made that skimpy hooded leopard suit ICONIC in the 90s and early 2000s 👏
“From This Moment” is another good Shania song. Also try Miranda Lambert “The House That Built Me” “If I Was A Cowboy” or Lori McKenna “The Balladeer”
"Any Man Of Mine" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" by Shania Twain
Still waiting for the great, iconic Carole King!
-Amber
Her early stuff is pretty amazing too...Any Man of Mine, Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under, I'm Out Of Here.
SHANIA IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!!!!!😍🎯
I have loved her since the '90s. My favorite song is Any Man of Mine and I remember the controversy of that music video because she wore a shirt that showed her belly button. And at that time, especially for country music, you didn't really do that lol.
I also love the The Woman in Me and You're Still the One and many others. She has some very beautiful songs and then more upbeat fun songs.
Shania Twain has a huge catalog of Songs that you can react to. Some of my favourites are " Any Man of mine, You're still the One, Up!, and for me a special Song is " God bless the Child ".
Constant Craving by K.D. Lang
Yes! And Hallelujah!
You CAN'T go wrong with Shania! Great music...great songwriting (much of it her own) and most with a lot of attitude! The music world LOVES her!
