I have 5+ of work experience in Python. I am looking for jobs. I see a lot of jobs in Java and Golang. but for a fresher. Any language but with strong fundamentals like Algo DS and some projects CRUD and understanding how things are working.
Till date I have not found any reputed product company NOT using or posting openings for Java devs. The boom of crappy Node.js and Python is done and people are now appreciating Java more than ever. Coming from a sad .NET dev.
Python is great for learning and research, but might not be the best for large-scale enterprise apps. Java is often preferred for such scenarios. Each language has its own strengths, and no single language can replace all others.

@ 10:00 My opinion: Java 6 or what is more commonly known as core java, is the main thing that one should have a hold on as it teaches the four pillars of OOP very well and on the functional programing design paradigm, Java 8 is the base that one should've a proper hold off, every other version after 8 just added features. And most of the companies on planet earth are reluctant to shift to newer LTS version of Java as there's a famous proverb, when it works, just let it work without touching it. Java 8, Java 11 are quite famous among companies and some're thinking to shift to 17 as of my today's knowledge.

listening to the blue t-shirt guy i guess he never worked for any large firm at all. He comparing spark hadoop with cloud. lol cloud replaced the hardware and not the big data processing tools. companies still use spark which is built over hadoop MR, and will continue to use these tools. stop spreading fear among younger audience for views
I think pinning college to language is fundamentally wrong, college should focus on IT and or computing pillars and help unlock student ability to generate digital solution. I am really okay if college does teach fundamental in something like assembly rather than python. It is up to the learner to choose a language depending on situation but with strong base in fundamentals
Colleges are creating servants for IT. You are the person to decide to be servant or the owner. Colleges are important but more important is what extra knowledge you are learning.

It is really disappointing to see Harnoor using click bait thumbnails on his channel.
