The camera was always my biggest complaint when i was younger, I would get so angry at the game yet other aspects made me stick it out. I would love to see this remade it would definitely add some more life into the modern sonic era. besides that i loved the chao gardens in this game and the second one.
My friend was talking to me about the chao gardens after he watched this, def something that was ahead of it's time on dreamcast. I only ever got to see it through friends. Thanks for watching and sharing!
This game needs a remaster badly. It crawled so other 3d sonic games can run. A Dreamcast masterpiece. How Sonic colors and heroes gets remakes over this or sonic adventure 2 is highly insane and sega should be ashamed of themselves
You should at least have installed the betterSADX mod at least, given that this Steam release is broken in many ways (which SEGA didn't bother to fix) gameplay and graphically wise, and doesn't correspond in any way to the qualities of the OG Dreamcast release
@@Nintenboy01 Because SEGA butchered this game with ports, of course it would be full of jank. Never experienced this issues on the Gamecube DX port (the first one). Only looks and sounds worse than the dreamcast in many ways but it plays at 60fps with nice Q&L improvements.

Yeah, I did for the most part (I also liked the video for better engagement despite my "negative" comment; don't worry)
he explicitly states he's aware of those mods existing, but playing the version he did because it's the one he already owns :P
Also Sonic Adventure DX on the Gamecube plays better than steam.
Gotta agree, it's just so janky and glitchy compared to something like Mario 64
