Well hello fellow free human, or free human to be! Thrilled to have you here yet again for another episode from the 'Free Human' series.
Today we’ve got a super special episode. I am beyond thrilled to bring you an episode with my sister Stef Wild. I adore this woman. She has been a guiding light for me my whole life and throughout this video you'll see so much love, lightness, realness, and wisdom pouring out of her.
She shares her struggles of living the ‘conventional’ life that felt like a prison to her and the darkness that came with this period, before inevitably being forced into a corner and needing to choose a different part.
We talk about how to get out of a life that isn't aligned and how to heal from pain.
This episode is really dear to my heart, not only because it's my sister, but it feels like finally I'm starting to understand what the Free Human series wants to be. I feel I'm refining my questions better, I feel like the answers are aligned with what I think being free really truly means. This whole episode just feels very aligned. I wonder if you notice that too.
Another piece of AMAZING news is that I decided to release the rest of the talk on the official Free Human channel! So another 30 minutes of chats with Stef are available there and there are SO...MANY...MORE nuggets of wisdom shared there. Wish I could have added all of that to this main video but had to split it up. If you resonated with Stef's message here, you will LOVE the other video.
Here is the podcast style video with extra content: • Redefining Success: Sh...
Hopefully Stef's story inspires you and gives you some comfort in trusting that your wild, irrational idea might actually work, and perhaps it really is a risk worth taking.

Married 20 years, headed for divorce. I have it all but it's all messed up and just feelin INHERENTLY wrong and not me. I like what she said about aligning with her values. That is where I am at. He doesn't get me, society doesn't get me, general life doesn't get me, and I'm good with that. I'm taking my dogs and cats and moving into a tiny apartment, for now. I am taking very little, it can all fit into my Jeep. I've done more physical activity, read more books, drank more tea and sitting in nature in the past 5 weeks than I did my whole entire 20 years of marriage. I am working on sewing a quilt, by hand and I am looking forward to throwing some pottery for my birthday in August. I work a simple job, not much money, but I will be ok. I won't see the divorce settlement for probably the next 2 years and he is fighting me, so be it. I am free! Edited to add: I'm 48 and doing this so go for it! It's never too late!

I have heard people use "houseless" instead of "homeless." Houseless sounds much better because you always have a "home" with family, friends, and even others who will open their doors to you while you are navigating your path. ❤

one thing I would like to hear more about in this serie is how free people manage illness, chronic illness, living with someone with a terminal or chronic illness. The only thing that stops me from breaking free and leaving is the thought of having to help my old parents who may need a caretaker in the next years and are financially poor, and also illness that I got or could possibily get.

When she talked about healing... wow. It's such simple words to convey the depths of darkness, difficulty, pain, and finally... finally breath, that comes with healing. Whenever someone mentions healing, I have to stop in reverence for the work that is. For the soul who took the time to do that work. ❤ beautiful.

I am 30 with a 6 figure job part of the same robotic dead life of a big city. I have been thinking of a farm for the past 2 years but havent been able to do anything about it. And everyday i can feel the guilt. But this thing your sister said stuck with me today. "Intension" i am going to continue to harness this intension and keep putting my efforts hoping someday i can start this.
And most importantly i now know its never too late. I kept beating myself for not figuring this out sooner. Today i know life has its own course and we have our own journey to realization.
Thank you so much. Many people say all these nice things but to first time hear it from someone who has lived a similar life is all i needed

im 16 going to university this year. First in my family im black and the oldest of 5. Going for computer science it's a lot in society. thanks to the medias available I get to learn from sorelle and all her guests. i can say very easily ive loved sorelle for a couple years now. i aspire to travel and farm and be free myself. i actually want to do a bunch like sail, act, write, work in corporate, homestead, fly a plane, I love languages. this video in particular was a sign in a way. I am young but I had a terrible break up and been through long term isolation so up next with doing the inner work is everything my higher self wanted plus everything i never knew I could have.
