Sorelle, you are young, and even if you have kids, you can remain young at heart. Don't ever fall into the trap of having to do or say anything that "society" tells you. I'm late 40's and act 20, and I love it. Don't care who hates my spirit, that's their biz!!!
I even dressed young for ages until I went into a minimalist lifestyle. (Btw: I'm also part of the itty-bitty-titty-committee
but in a tall version, and an Aussie...yay!!!).

How do you cope with not seeing your family often? I’m not assuming you don’t, it’s just I struggle with guilt and shame for not seeing my family since I moved at a very young age to a different state. I’ve always craved this level of physical freedom. And to see another being embody it, is a magical feeling. But that guilt still gnaws at me because I know I will be having multiple home bases and many lands where I leave my footprints 👣 on. My home is our planet.

    • @boshenaw.929

@@KeturaSaint-Fleurose I am sure that your family would want you to live your best life rather than sitting at home feeling like you want to be somewhere else. Just talk to them and tell them how you feel. If you feel guilty, just send them short texts and photos and videos often and they will be feeling like you are still connected to them.
It is all about quality of communication, not quantitiy...

LOVED the update! Such amazing placeees. Love to see you flourish!
I would have I question though that has been hardest for me so far. And it is the freedom of my "small self". You know the voice in our heads trying to keep us small, lazy and safe. And I feel like it's easy to feel free when I'm out and about exploring new places and traveling because then the useless chatter is off. But at home.. it's on. And it gets louder. Like how do you transcend that small self and be freely your true self even when doing hard things or boring everyday things?

(Ideally with some actionable steps 😄❤️) I know you said there was a time when it was just you and you reflected back and started seeking these out! So hard to build connections as adults so would love some insight if you’re comfortable sharing more ❤️ much love!!

The most freedom I ever felt was when I lived in my car and was essentially homeless. Also backpacking around Asia was pretty freeing. The least freedom I felt was when I lived in NYC, and Tokyo.
I think it mainly comes down to owning less, and consuming less. Being in a warm, safe place in the world. The best things in life are free.

    • @abiainley9137
      @abiainley9137 ปีที่แล้ว +7

To add to this I think it's about being attached to less. You can "own" stuff but it's dependent on how attached you are to that stuff. Like how would you feel if a tornado were to come along and sweep away all your "possessions"? Maybe it's not necessarily about owning less but needing less, knowing that life is beautiful inherently and that's an internal experience rather than projecting that beauty onto things around you.

Amazing edit and topic! Although you seem to be physically free (meaning you can be anywhere anytime you want), you are not free from your humanly feelings and needs. None of us is. Most of us are social beings who crave intimacy and friendship, that’s why the freedom is about balance - balancing the compromises we have to make.

I’m in the process of becoming a free human and I am so excited about it! You are an inspiration. Because of you, I am staying in a hostel in Amsterdam for the first time ever. I thought I would need to have luxury accommodations but I have learned that I can enjoy life with less. I’m always going to love luxury but to know that the joy is in the experience and not the material things is an important lesson to learn.

I can relate so much. When I was a kid and someone asked me what I was dreaming of doing in the future I would reply 'nothing'. Crazy adults just laughed and no one even told me yeah baby it's called investing.
Eventually life circumstances finally forced me to get a job (and hell, the job was all night shift, 6 nights per week with 2 weeks of vacation per year) where my mental health said goodbye see you later. I couldn't sleep for 5 days. Seriously. On my first therapy session we were trying to find out the root. And when I said the work FREEDOM I bursted into tears. I couldn't cry for the whole year I was working because I was supressing my emotions that much. Now I'm recovering and finally seeing the way to be free again.
Live according to your values, otherwise you can go crazy.

I resonate with your story so much - I`ve just realized I`ve been a nomad since 17 when my parents sold the house I grew up in... that was 20 years ago. After living in more than 30 places I`m so ready to find a place I can call home but it`s quite a project so a few more months/years of nomad life lie ahead. I`ll make it an adventure of course but I`m getting more and more anxious and just crave that peace and quiet that comes with having your own house.

I live in the United States. It is so difficult here to find freedom of any sort. One often feels hemmed in. Enslaved. Rushed. Controlled by burdersome government regulations and to include being taxed to "death." There is drama, conflict, and turmoil almost everywhere. Most people are in a big hurry to get from point A to point B. Driving is dangerous as many drive either with their eyes on their mobile devices, or under the influence of drugs an alcohol. tIt is a very noisy place, especially in the cities. Human and electronic eyes are everywhere. One feels like they are always being watched. Living in the United States creates anxiety and I would also say mental dysfunction. (Wetiko)
While I can choose to be free from the material, the quest for spiritual and mental freedom - while preferrable - is not easy for many. I cannot put my finger on it but it is almost as if the US government will allow you those things if you ask it for permission to have them. Permission to be free.
Money rules here, not personal and character development. US society is largely about power and control. Guns. Those who hold the wealth and resources have the power and control over those who don't. It is like being on a slave-driven plantation.
The many who have lots of it may claim to be free, but when the money and material things are taken away (or the fear of of losing them presents itself), those persons lose it. So the freedom they deceived themselves into believing they had was not freedom.
Many Americans actually relocate to another country thinking that they will find freedom, peace, and security only to discover that the problem is themselves. They simply carry with them what they have been conditioned to be with them inside. (prejudices, greed, materialism, entitlement, etc)
IMO, freedom begins with not being enslaved by a system (governmental, religious, etc) that wants you enslaved. One must be self-reliant, something not easy to do in the United States. One must get out of the city and even towns. One must "get away from it all" because being in close proximity to mentally and spiritually defective and infected human beings is contagious. Like a mental virus, they infect you. You must become owner of you. You must own your home and property. You must not be beholding to anyone. One must have freddom from fear. That is not easy in the United States because the tax system follows you were ever you go. No one here is truly free and independent. If an American relocates overseas, the tax system follows them. That umbilical cord is never severed. US citizenship in itself is enslaving.
I am a retired professional man. Worked hard all my life. College graduate. A military Veteran. I gave my talents and life to "the corporation" in exchange for a paycheck and a possible pension (fear of being fired is always present) and contribution into the social security system.
Happily, have a decent pension and access to decent health care. I am one of the fortunate ones.
I spend lots of time in the mountains and travel to far away secluded spots to "get away" from the fast-paced life in the city. I read spiritual books, meditate, and even pray. I am generally a clam and collected person. But I do not feel free in the US.
Just driving to some remote location can be stressful because of rude and aggressive drivers.
Around any corner something unexpected can happen. Just knowing that it could creates anxiety.
How will I react if a person says or does something that upsets the balance I am striving to maintain?
The only real solution I see is that there can be no freedom in any aspect until ALL are free.
That means a total revamping or elimination of human governance over humans. Human rule over humans has been an abject failure.
As a human species, we might be forced to accept a system of government that is not of human origin. IDK

Dear Sorelle, thank you for your inspiring journey and I've been following you for the past years and i can say that you are a wonderful human being. i will allow myself to share a thought since this is a Free space and we are all seeking freedom.
Personally i learned along my journey to freedom that the real freedom is a freedom from fear. Fear is embedded in us and hence when we experience a moment that is perfectly free from fear, we experience true freedom. Fear can affect us and robe us from our freedom even if we are alone and in a very peaceful environment.
The most valuable lesson in life that i learned and that i am happily and freely sharing in here is the following: "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear."
A second most valuable lesson that is equally important to the above: perfect love cannot be attained by personal efforts, it is a real miracle and it happens through divine intervention that heals us from the inside, that opens our mind and heart to things beyond our current experience. This miracle is as real as the material sphere to those who have the courage to believe and follow it, to the pure in hearts, to the seekers of a better home knowing that this one is stained. To the seekers of holiness and righteousness and to those who have hope in a better tomorrow. It is a free gift from your creator and mine. He longs to sets us free from bondage and stronghold in our hearts and minds. To make peace with us and in us. To lead us to the spring of living water so we can quench our thirst for freedom, love and acceptance. Free and abundant is this gift that i experienced. I only asked one question: To show me the truth and indeed he was faithful and true and He changed my life in a moment, in a blinking of an eye. This rush of supernatural peace and self love and acceptance came to my heart and physic. Not because i prayed, nor because i am religious or sinless. I am not. It is not because of anything done from my part. It came just because i dared to look up and ask: ARE YOU THERE? SHOW ME AND I WILL FOLLOW YOU.
No religion involved, to traditions and rules, complete freedom in God, the true God.For many are the wells that offers water of freedom, but after a while the well becomes empty and we start our quest for a new one. The fountain, the true and only spring comes from the great I AM. The Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the End. The God and Father of all who sent His only begotten Son to set us FREE. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." and "He that believeth on Him, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

Many ways to pay off your mortgage quickly. Airbnb a room or rent a room out, have a home business so your home is a tax deduction, host dinner gatherings (paid) or cook meals for people who work and have no times (they can pick them up or you can deliver), grow food in your yard if you have it and save money on food....
If you start thinking about it, researching it, you can probably come up with few different options. There are even videos on how to pay off mortgate loans quickly with refinancing, you do not have to do it the way everybody else does...

As I said before on Instagram being free means being able to say no. Passive income helps a great deal. Honestly I believe passive income is setting you up to be completely free like nothing else and enables you to say no in almost any situation. Being financially free like that will put you into a situation completely independent from people, who are likely to steal the best you got to offer for money: Time! Also, saying no to people who wanna use and abuse you emotionally is a must. Saying no to bad thoughts, negativity, etc. NO ist the way to GO!

You may want to start by creating a quality of life statement or something else that helps you get clear on what you want your life to look like. (What your ideal day looks like? where you want to live and with whom? What are your core values? With whom do you want to regularly interact? Etc.) Then that quality of life statement becomes your new north star so you start making decisions and taking steps that move you in that direction - including determining what to start getting rid of and what to keep.

I genuinely do not mean this to be rude. But are you a free human or an influencer? It seems like free human just means being able to do what you want without having to think about finances. Which being an TH-camr/Influencer gives you that freedom. But you're still subject to paid sponsorships that allow you to be a free human. So, my question is, how can someone who is not an influencer or doesn't already have access to wealth be a "free human"?

It's so cool that you have been able to do this. I wish I had more money saved and a side hustle that made me money online. Right now I'm making around 85k a year and bought my first property last year. I think being able to travel the world is one of the most important things one can do with their life. I feel my health was destroyed by the rona. Also just had a person I was seeing for the last 8-9 months just grow distant and ghost me after talking with her on the phone a month ago. This world is so cold sometimes. It sucks we have to make so much money just to survive. Could you imagine how much we could accomplish if science and technology weren't limited by having to have companies/government that make money to keep going? We would be on Mars by now. We would be curing diseases. If Atlantis or Lemuria were real I can only imagine that they were civilizations that valued emotional connection and intellectual development as well as spiritual development above all else. Thanks for making the series I don't think I catch all of them but when I do I'm glad someone out there is traveling and meeting all these cool people. You are always welcome in Boulder, CO.
My main question/s would be what do you think it takes for a person to give up stability for spontaneity and no guarantee that a trek around the world will last forever? I want to quit and just make videos traveling and consulting for other stuff. Rent out my place. Give up being around the types of people I work with in my industry (manufacturing) and start over. I am almost your same age. I turn 34 in a month and I just can't help but think about how crazy it is how different people's lives are. Some are born and never have to work a day in their lives. Some work harder than others and barely own a thing. Some people are in the middle somewhere and live quiet lives nobody knows about. Some people are loud and proud and in the limelight. What is the right way to live? Who are the right people to have around? What is the most important thing for one's own health?
Love your videos and the fact that you are just yourself. Keep making them and hopefully it helps some people move forward in their lives and come to amazing epiphanies. You are a beautiful human and you remind me of a person I met while camping alone in Yellowstone for a week. She is so intelligent both intellectually and emotionally. She listens more than she speaks and is an amazing artists. The world needs more people like you two.
    😀😀

What is "stability"? It can crumble in a second and has for so many people around the world in the last couple of years.
The truth is that the more you can find yourself in any situation, the more stability you have. Because nobody can give you stability and security except yourself. It is all within you :-)

@@boshenaw.929 Ah the Buddhist approach. I do agree that peace comes from within. I somewhat have to disagree about the other parts of stability. Some things were shaken up in my life by the pandemic but I made more in 2020 and 2021 than I ever had. I haven't been out of work for more than about 3 months in the last 11 years or so. I'm a machinist by trade so I'm very stable from that front. Which when you have stable income and it's good enough to save money you focus on other aspects of your life, or at least should. It's like Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Right now for me the bottom 2 in the pyramid are solid for me. It's the next ones that become a dozy. When Sorelle screamed in this video I was looking away but it sent chills down my spine. I know that scream. I did it today actually. It's such a primal energy to let out.

You don't know me Sorelle, however I'm another fellow early 30's Aussie. I've been slowly working my way through your content, and several other youtubers, and I get it. I can see the appeal of being on youtube full time. When we grew up, it didn't seem like an option, however as the world grew, it became one.
I'm not sure how I'll get there, or what the journey will look like, however I am definitely thinking and trying to come up with a basis for a channel so I can make the leap and one day replace my job with this lifestyle.
Nothing wrong with being a big kid, let alone having someone who has that outlook on life as a partner. Keep doing your thing, it's inspiring me to move onto my thing rather than someone else's!
Also, would not have picked you for 34, you have definitely aged like a fine wine. Must be the big kid in you keeping you forever young 😂

There is this watercolor artist who decided that she was going to follow her dream to become an artist in her 40s and started her own TH-cam channel with the support of her husband. She is shy about her presence on TH-cam, but because of it, she was finally able to do what she loves to do for a living, and followed her heart.

So just does being a free person mean you’re not tied down to anything material you’re more like a a free spirit like you’re just gonna do whatever? So as a free spirit person, what does that mean that you don’t work at 9 to 5 job work, so like how do you make money to support yourself? I’m just curious.

Looks great and all, really congratulations on all your freedom & success!
Just had a thought about how a real "free human" doesn't really need to show everyone that he or she is free, it kinda makes it feel like the opposite of freedom
I know we all need to make money somehow, with sponsorships, ads, etc...
Definitely feels like a good marketing phrase "Free Human"
Any way, so my question is how can I be sponsored by squarspace and be a "free human" at the same time 🤔?
Also what should I eat to get abs like all of these people, I mean is there anyone there without abs?
    tnx 😘

If one day I find a video of my landlord/landlady showing the world what a great lifestyle they have and how spontaneously they travel with my money, I would be a bit upset. Being humble is not too bad sometimes. And by humble I don't mean thankful and bragging about it all the time.

It was never officially diagnosed, but: as a child, I definitely suffered Cleithrophobia (I got locked in a closet once, age 3).
Anyhow, I'm basically okay now; I more or less grew out of the fear. Still I genuinely sympathize with anyone who feels trapped somehow.
Indeed, I think everyone should be free.
It's just that: sometimes, we have to help. Somehow; each in our own way.

Been a follower for over 6+ years. Love your self-portraiture, color pallettes & bold spirit🔥
    * "legit" ways to create nomad $ (so much misleading content, very few can live off of lame hourly rates🙄)?
    * Health while you travel...what are the tools you have in place for emergencies, etc?
    * Angel Investor resources for start-ups not bound solely to credit/income?
*Traveling solo...what methods do you use to ensure your safety?
*Heart freedom... flourishing & embracing being a single individual without caving into the scarcity mindset of loneliness
    Thanks you, lovely one! 🥰👊🦋
