There's been a recent run of Batman comics where the main protagonist Batman chases his Joker into other dimensions and universes, including the Arkham games, the White Night universe, and of course the Adam West version. While in the Adam West-verse, the main Batman manages to get a look at the infamous Shark Repellent, gives a small shit-eating grin, and says:
"Never thought I'd meet a Batman more prepared than me."
YES, it was so freaking awesome!
How DC doesn't make a show like this is beyond me but it sounds amazing.
My favorite Batman scene is from Justice League Action (episode 4) where Superman and Batman are interrogating Deadshot. In this scene, Superman wants to be the "bad cop" and Batman lets him, but he's so unconvincing that Deadshot is just confused. But every time Batman tries to be the "good cop," Deadshot gets so unnerved that he almost immediately confesses. 😊
Why am I suddenly thinking of the time Batman is interrogated for being a vigilante by Judge Dredd who is actually the good cop cos he uses the SJS (special judicial squad) to savagely beat Batman during his torture/interrogation.

I love the bit in one of the comics where Batman is traveling through a bunch of different universes, meeting other Batmen on his quest to stop a villain and Adam West Batman gives him his utility belt because he end up pulling out the shark-repellent Bat-spray to defend himself from a shark and remarks that he's ‘never met a Batman more prepared than him before’. As goofy as that show was, he was still more prepared than every other Batman.

I am surprised during the interrogation section they didn't bring up the justice league episode where current batman goes to the future and meets batman beyond. Batman starts to interrogate a criminal when old batman says "I can't believe I used to be so green". It is one of my favorite scenes in the that show.
Also the fact that in Batman Beyond Superman was right about Bruce outliving them all. As in that timeline literally everybody in the justice league died, before ya know. It got fixed.
As someone who grew up in the era when the Adam West Batman series was common on television after school, there was a day of revelation for many of us when we finally realized that it was a spoof. Prior to that, we had accepted everything as being serious. The episode that finally did it for me had Robin being saved by grabbing a rope with this teeth, followed by Batman saying "Robin, you owe your life to dental hygiene. "
Sorry in advance if this has been said before (I'm betting it has) but perhaps Adam west's batman befriended all of dolphin kind in preparation for the secret service dolphin manoeuvre? So he was prepared maybe you could say he planned it on porpoise? 😅

My instant theory was that he has a standing contract with Aquaman.
His alliance with the dolphins could of put him at ends with the sharks, meaning he could of had to fight sharks plenty before and that would completely explain the shark spray
So, robot chicken had a really good skit where Robin finds Batman's file for how to take down any justice league member. Robin goes "So the Martian Manhunter's weakness is fire." And Batman replies "Yeah, that's everyone's weakness. It's frickin' fire!"

Two things I always point out about Batman The Movie: 1) The Joker has a mustache UNDER his white makeup. 2) In order to re-hydrate all the dusted members of the UN there is a rig setup with the test tube of dust, a hose of water, and a stand with a large pole holding it all in place. 7:43 The UN members reanimate on top of this contraption. This is proof positive that everyone in government has a 2 foot metal rod up their ass.
My favorite Batman gadget is in the crossover with Scooby Doo where Batman convinces Shaggy to come to the batcave by offering him “Bat-Milk”

Ok, you got me convinced that Adam West is in fact the best Batman, I don't remember the episodes, but I do remember watching them with grandma, she love the Adam West batman, we always watch it together. Miss you mum.
Campy batman doesn't get enough love these days for sure, yeah dark and gritty batman is good, but campy batman is just insanely entertaining, it's why despite being a pretty awful film I actually quite enjoy Batman & Robin because it's basically a quick revisit of the campy Adam West style batman with a look inspired by Tim Burton which pretty much just makes it a silver age comic book brought to life on screen

I choose to believe Adam West batman actually had a device on the boat that made dolphins swim behind the boat in a way that forms a protective shield. He just didn't want to tell Robin about it.
I am team Bright Knight, my husband is team Kevin Conroy. I loved the no hesitation from Karl at the very beginning.
As for Batman's list of how to take out the Justice League, I always assumed his lack of a plan for Wonder Woman was because she could lasso the plan out of him if it came to it.
Batman has several contingency plans for all of the League. Including Wonder Woman and himself.
I rarely watch, but I LOVE listening to this channel while I’m busy working around the house.

Since it came up again, i just gotta say. The Shark Repellant in the Bat-copter was probably not designed for *mid-air* shark attacks. It's most likely for if his Bat-Copter goes down in the water and while he is trying to get back to Gotham, he gets attacked by sharks, whales, and barracudas. It just so happens that, because he is prepared for *that*, the preparedness transfers to mid-air shark attacks too.
Kevin Conroy used his regular speaking voice for Batman and modified his voice for Bruce Wayne. He understood that Bruce Wayne was the alter ego.
5:12 This reminds of the "Warcraft" movie. Every time you hear a crowd yelling "For the Horde" or "For the Alliance" that was us at Blizzcon before the movie came out. It's so dope.

So I think you misremembered the torpedo scene. He wasn't on the bat boat, he was trapped on a magnetic buoy. Secondly he did have a device that could prematurely explode the torpedoes, but when the final one came the battery suddenly died. It's hilarious because it's not Batman failing to anticipate a scenario inself, he failed to anticipate a situation where his battery-powered gear would die out and would need to replace them

The only 2 skins I bought for Arkham City were the Adam West outfit, and the Batman Beyond one. But I only really ended up using the Beyond skin. That outfit was always so cool.
I 'member going to see the first movie at the theater. When Michael Keeton said that line, "I'm Batman" for the very first time, everybody in the theater just went nuts. The first time we heard it, it was already legendary.

The fact that it's batman and not Bruce Wayne on the card means that he went in full costume to open an account at the bank. They had to credit check batman. Where would they send the card and the pin to. The batcave doesn't have a street address. That is hilarious and poses so many questions.

I think WB should give up on making the JL work and just go ALL IN on the batverse. Maybe do a robin (Grayson) origin story followed by a sibling rivalry between Grayson and Todd bringing the birth of Nightwing, then Death in the Family, and go on from there.
I noticed in the Batman Begins sound track picture the first letters of tracks 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 spell BATMAN. That's pretty clever.

Also on the topic of Shark-Mace .. In a universe that has Killer-Croc, Sentient Gorillas, King Shark and so on ... carrying Mace that is actually potent enough to knock out those guys is just common sense and using this on a poor great white might just be overkill.

I had always read the Shark repellent spray in the batcopter as emergency auxiliary Shark Spray, in case theyre in a situation where all the Shark Pray cans on board whatever ship they had happened to be on were to malfunction for whatever reason(s)
In fact in my little kid brain i figured that it was just something that all boats had on hand like in their first aid kits or something and that it was common practice to have one on rescue helicopters to keep extra because shark attacks happen so frequently.

Honestly Wonder Woman's is both tricky but in effect for Batman comically easy. Which of course they had a footnote mentioning the tricking her into a fight to endlessly try and fight and unbeatable opponent. Because Wonder Woman's greatest downfall to me at least, is her Pride. She's so prideful of herself and her strength, her skills, talent and all of this. That if you truly presented her with something that is simply better then her, and unbeatable for her. She'd crumble in her attempts trying to prove that she is better. Honestly a perfect fit for a character such as her. In a meta way she is often now built as a character who is "The Perfect Women" and other similar ways. And to be so perfect, it is inevitable to fall into great pride, and the same pride when attacked or tested. Must be reinforced. And if it cannot. One will crumble in such a situation.

I think what I've figured out from this is that, for one, the dolphin didn't sacrifice its life, Aquaman controlled it and sacrificed its life. And 2, Batman is in a game loop. Everytime he dies, he rolls back, and so he knows what's going to kill him, and develops a tool in preparation for it the next time. Everytime we see him surprised, it's the first time he is in that situation, but he's gotten near this point hundreds of times.

I don't know where it came from, but there is a thing that some people of the group will shout homo (gay) and some will shout muumio (mummy) and it should sound like huomio if alot of people shout at the same time.
