Missed these long videos… the mangaves look like something out of a painting… your magic touch is always so inspiring
30 minutes?! Hell yeah! 😍😍😍😍
Wow!!! I remember this installation!! It amazes me how much the plants have grown in a year!!! I love it!!!
One of my favourite installations. Thank you for putting in the effort to share your hard work and Greg's steady hand.
Another educational video, especially liked the pesticide information, very helpful!
Welcome back. Love the longer video as it is packed with so much information. The garden looks spectacular.
The editing here with the 360° views in mind seems daunting and yet you make it so approachable and upbeat. You are so inspiring. Great camera work too Greg fingers aside you showed so much detail. Incredible work people applause applause.
Love your videos...I actually watch them again and realize I've learned even more. Love you and your creativity ❤️
Thanks Laura!
can’t believe it’s been four years!
nice cleanup! ✂️🌱
Yay you are back! Great maintenance video 😊
You really should be on HGTV! You are the Succulent Queen! Great maintenance video Laura! Good to have you back!
ahhhh, the world is back in balance, videos from Laura! good to see you, been wondering how things are going... love this installation and wow! so tidy now and everywhere you look it's so very interesting.. you could stand there for hours and study that garden... FYI, being a good student (ha) i use the Bayer 3in1 in the cactus garden you installed as a preventive, usually in jan/feb depending on our rain situation here in socal... that is a garden of its own space (no other flowers etc around) and i feel perfectly comfortable in using it... if, by chance, one of the cacti is in bloom or has buds on it, that one does not get treated so a pollinator is safe if they decide to visit the plant... everywhere else in my garden i try to use organic but even most organics are advised not to be used if pollinators are present... you treat early in the morning or late in the evening when the bees etc have gone to bed... it's so good to have the videos are back even if i'm not able to watch every day - my own gardens are taking a lot of time right now because, while i'm thankful for our wet winter, the weeds are having so much fun out there, haha... hope everyone is doing well... and can i just say i'm impressed with the stamina of you and your team... maybe it's my age finally showing (no no no), but scaling slopes and angles and ups and downs... oy... definitely keeps one limber and mostly moving (as long as the ibuprofen and all those herbal rubs are on standby) hahaha... have a great memorial day weekend! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Im sensing job security for Hanna. Not a bad thing anyway. Always a work in progress being live...💚💚💚
Love the mangaves, so hard to find decent variety in Australia
Oh my god 30 minutes 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊glad you're back!!! You and your crew are missed!
WRT pests, I spot treat with alcohol, but I also use systemic granules in the soil to help treat and prevent! Looking forward to seeing everyone else's tips for pests!
Thank you for the video, Laura! Super helpful as always
That variegated parryi at time stamp 5:30, by Laura’s upper right leg, where can I find that? I see this client has one with many pups. Do you think DFS could ship me one of them if they are removed? I would be ever so grateful. You have been the inspiration for my front yard and I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I am also eagerly awaiting a video that shows how to remove pups and reset mangaves while preventing breaking their delicate leaves. My Mayan Queen mangaves are totally stuffed with pups. Maybe I can trade mine for the parryi pups? 😊 Thank you!
How gorgeous! It looks like an alien landscape.
Perfect way to start my Saturday 😍👌🏻
I am doing my entire yard right now with some spectacular pieces I would love to show you! This video was a wonderful help as all of your videos are. Thanks for taking the time to do these!
love the longer format!!
Clean extraction 😂 like a succulent dentist!
Lol. That “deep in the weeds” tangent is so me and my thought process. I could get lost in the sauce of my own words. God love ya!
Missed you guys 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love you. Watch every video.
Looks fantastic 💚💚💚
I love watching your videos laura
Wow beautiful
Looks beautiful.
My favorite tv show! thanks for 30 min video💕💕i missed the gardens, maintenence, and team dfs
Beautiful 😊😊😊
As far as I know, mangaves are supposed to bloom several times before giving up. 😘
Beautiful job 🎉❤
looks fantastic!
I have used this Bayer product for years! It works great and I use it on everything in my flower garden as well as my vegetable garden!
Thanks!
Wow, nicest yard on the block 👍🏼
One of the installations I watch over and over for ideas. Haha, I love the cameo of Greg’s finger at the end!
I believe that Agave Cornelius came from your prior garden. I haven't had success getting its pups to grow once separated.
Awesome update looks nice and clean good job. Until next time. ❤🌵
started out good, got better, then by the end it's your typical best!
HELLO DEAR I LOVE WATCHING 👀 YOUR VIDEOS 📹 😍
Those huge bushy sunburst aeoniums are so beautiful. How can I get mine to grow like that? Am in Sydney so a bit similar climate to southern cali.
🌸
Has anyone noticed an increase in powdery mildew on your succulents? I’m in San Diego and feel like it’s been relentless. I’ve been using Captain Jacks copper fungicide with mixed results. Anyone have any pro tips?
Laura, where's your content? We miss them.
Does Tree and Shrub work on scale? I’ve already lost one mammilaria plumosa, and now I’ve noticed them on another (and it’s impossible to get in among the “feathers”!).
Yes it does!

Magaves have been proclaimed as being polycarpic.
As so often happens in nature, plants don’t always follow the predicted route. Many of my Mangaves that bloomed did decline, but not before putting out so many pups that I had material to take over the spot. I think the mono vs. poly outcome on Mangaves is not 100% predictable.

In order to add interest to these monotonous samey installations....why don't you wear a big yellow Easter bonnet with a large ribbon under your chin to hold it in place ?
Interesting how you want to protect the bees from pesticides but not the animals like squirrels that bury their food in the toxic dirt that will kill them. Yep, I’m one of those people. BTW, there is nothing political about pesticides. It’s really about saving the planet and maybe yourself, but hey, it’s your life. You do you. Just let the wildlife live!
I love your designs.
But all I can hear is planes going overhead.
What a sucky place to live. Go or it
What is that large tropical plant in the background in the neighbors yard…. Will totally admit this ADHD brain got distracted by it!
I believe is a white bird of paradise. It’s a heliconia plant. Very popular here in Florida .
