Thank you for the video man! So cool to see whats available! Really enjoy the videos you make and respect so much how you let mason get involved in them so much, he is adorable! Thanks again and hope your trip back to Okinawa was a safe one.
Another great video in this series. It might not have been a pristine GTR yet it still looks pretty fresh overall, and as you say it's a true legend. Your kid makes me laugh and is becoming quite the star in your recent videos lol...
bro thank u for sharing this amazing tokio trip video. this car videos just keep on getting better and better. itz beautiful to see how much u value FAMILY. keep it up man.!! 10 out of 10 🌟
The (second) tokyo series was a blast to watch, can't wait to see future stuff tho! Btw I love the fact that you explain to us specific stuff and quirks about japan like the toll prices or the "drink law", thats the cherry on the top for me haha. Keep it up!
Ever since I was a kid I wondered what it would be like living in Japan for a bit getting to do most activities that you've been indulging on. Just wanna say thank you on behalf of all us viewers for this great outlook on Japan living for a westerner like yourself :-) Cheers!!!
YourCarBro thanks for the reply. I want to import a 1992 r32 gtr would it be best to go hand pick it from Japan or just look for a company to import one for me?
Hi Spencer,Looks like I'm a day late and a dollar short on this one. I watched yesterday, but didn't get a chance to reply until now. Looks like you had the right idea. Renting that iconic car for your trip was something you'll never forget. It is a shame about the current state of the car though. In the end, it's just a rental car, but to those of us who love GT-Rs it almost pains us to see one of them so run down. Still you've just had the experience many of us can only dream of. That dark blue R33 at 9:02 is the one for me (maybe it's a rust bucket underneath, but I love that shade of blue). As always, I enjoyed the video sir! I have one question though, who won the race? ;o)
Hello. My name is Takashi. I watched your TH-cam video and I know you lented BNR34 at "Omoshiro rental car" service in Noda city watching very fun.I actually live in Noda city and I own BCNR33 Vspec so I got familiar with your TH-cam videos that I give you a message and I'm glad you love Skyline GT-Rs.Your little kid is so cute! Anyway I wish you guys family have a good holiday. Merry Christmas!
I ended up renting the R33 on the right (at 8:45). great experience.! I originally rented the DC5 Type-R but it broke down the day prior I was to pick it up, so I was able to rent it for the same price as the DC5!!!! and yes, the views are fairly amazing at the expressways. Went to Daikoku parking area that night!! That FD RX-7 at the very end that you spotted lives in one of the apartment homes walking to to Omoshiro rent a car place. I saw it parked there.
Your inner s2000 is speaking to you!!!! I currently have a 03 AP1 Spa yellow. Its my DD so yeah I'm biased. I need to preform some work on it. But its strange I didnt see a lot of MR2's running around in the vids. I owned a Gen2 '92 T-top white in the mid to late 90's. I do miss that car an was searching your vid of your Tokyo trip. Only saw 1. Anyhow, yes a S2000 next time!
I'd rent a R34 GTR if Im ever in Toyko! This is an awesome series bro and a great insight into Toyko! Mason cracks me up, he reminds me a lot of my son who is 5. As always, keep up the great work bro!
It was worth the rent imo, But it's not something i'd do since it's too overrated in some way if you know what i mean but it was cool seeing it. Keep up the videos man they're really enjoyable and entertaining
That is so badass if only they had JDM car rentals here in the states! Its very sad to see how poorly its taken care of though, so a nice car that should be treated way better! I wonder if a customer crashed that FD in the rental car parking lot, if so I wonder what they had to pay as far as the damages go? Did they explain to you what would happen if you wrecked it? Im sure its happened before you know someone tried to Tokyo Drift around a corner and hit something lmao! Man do I love Japanese toy/hobby stores, I would spend way to much money in them I saw so many things I wanted haha! The cars are all so sick, definitely pumped to receive mine! Do you remember how much those huge model cars were at 11:55 . That is pretty interesting they dont have any open container laws there, that has to be nice! Awesome video as always man!
I bet the FD was crashed by a customer! They explained to me that if I crashed it or damaged the motor while driving it hard then all insurance would be voided and I would be responsible for cover the cost of repairs lol...They said they had it chipped and everything to let them know if I was speeding or driving it hard. Also said that you weren't aloud to take it on mountain passes and even had a picture of a scene from Initial D and said NO! haha. I love the model cars and toys Japan offers. It is so awesome! I look forward to sending you some! Pausing the video and looking back I think the big model cars where around $25-30 but they were not assembled or painted in the boxes. Take care dude!
Wow that would be one expensive bill if you crashed it, I cant imagine what you would tell them if you came back with a smashed up RX7 FD lol! Thats pretty cool I didn't realize you get to build them and paint the bigger ones! I thought they were model cars that were premade.
Thanks man you should! I think if you are in the US you can get them at the post office. My dad got one before coming to visit and I think he just had to pay $50 or something like that.
Next time when you're in Tokyo, use google maps. Much better than the GPS in the car. BTW, you stationed @ Kadena? Was there from 2011 - 2014 (FSS, @the DFAC). Now, live around Tokyo. Love the civilian life.
We will see! Not sure if I will be able to make to many more trips to mainland before I leave in about 10 months. I'll definitely be back in Tokyo for Tokyo Auto Salon though!
I rented the 34 GTST and I didn't think it was worth it, because of all the restrictions that you don't know about until you sign the contract. Sure it's still fun but they say you can't drive mountain roads? I understand why but that would have been some good info to know beforehand.
The rust is from improper crash repair. You can see lots of crash videos of the cars- uploaded by the company themselves. Their newer cars now have hefty deposits, at least ¥10,000.
Im going to Japan and these 2 vids are helping me out I got a s2000 lol were u able to go meet without a issue I read in the documents that they have recorders in the cars so I was curious
Try the BCNR33 next! So you'll complete the bloodline. ;) You're kid is cool BTW, he'll prolly endy up just like us, and will own your BNR32. It'll be even more expensive when that time comes. :D
late to the party but I read somewhere on reddit that the driver's seat window in this particular R34 could not be fully closed? is that true? thinking of renting this but something like that could be a dealbreaker especially in colder weather..
Hey Bro!!! My brother and i are going to Tokyo, Japan (in a week) and are going to the exact same rental place. We are going to be renting the silver BNR34 and possibly the Spirit R as well.
Thanks bro! Really looking forward to it. Gonna be taking the R34 to Gumna, followed by Mount Haruna. Wanna do some Initial Tokyo Drift Version 10 down the hill with it...LMAO! :D J/K. Probably after we are done spending the day in Mount Haruna, we will go to the apartment then drop off the R34 and pick up the FD3S the next day. I think we will go to Daikoku Futo with her.
My 32 feels so much better than the Evo 4. I think it also has a lot to do with it being that particular Evo though. It has some rust and the suspension is shot. The Evo is pretty quick though and I think it would be a close straight line race
Cheaper den fun2drive I guess cos those mountains r too narrow so increases the risk of a slide crash etc, I'd rather just renting at Ota Ku den rent a ae86 from omishuru for 2 days etc and drive in city/neighbouring hoods rather then mountain passes coz that's more advanced
Do you need a child seat in Japan now (like in the U.S)?? When I was like 5yrs old in Japan back in ancient ago, my seat was between my grandpa's legs on the passenger floor in my dad's Skyline (really, he had one until my 3rd grade).
Yea I think the law changed in the last few years. Age 5 and under are required to be in a car seat. With that being said almost no locals in Okinawa follow that at all haha. I always see small children sitting in parents laps while they drive lol
Brother big fan.. I had a question I just got a 2017 Chevy Cruz. I want to start adding cool things is there any tips on what i should to it .I know it's just a v4 but want to get the look going any motor add ons for some speed ,but don't know shit about cars ,can I please have some tips thanks man🔥🔥👍🔥👍🔥👍👍🔥🔥👍🔥👍🔥👍👍🔥🔥👍🔥👍🔥👍👍🔥👍🔥🔥👍👍🔥👍🔥
Thanks man! If you are set on keeping that car I would just keep it clean and simple. Lower it, small bolt ons like intake and exhaust. Or just save your money and by a project car to really have fun with and Keep the Cruz as a comfortable daily.
Hey Grams, just to let you know its known as an inline 4 or i4 not v4. (Cars dont come with v4s though a few have been made in the past) if your Cruze has the 1.4 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, then yes having an intake and at least a catback would do it nice. You will absolutely love the sound of the B.O.V (blow off valve) when you get an intake for it.
I am really not sure. Last I checked a few months ago the stock 34 GTRs were starting at around 50K USD over here. I know someone who bought a salvaged title one for 38k USD so I'd say somewhere between that maybe
I will be renting a car from there soon. Going on the 18th of this month. Probably getting an R34...LOL. I will play some music from Tokyo Xtreme Racer while driving the actual highways the game's based off. Something I've wanted to do since a kid. Finally happening.
Why they treated the car like that maybe because the R34 GTR isn't a huge deal for the Japanese. They probably dont value the car the same way we do because they're a such common sighting for them there.
It really is a shame and TopSecret down there might be right partially. Not even just Japanese people not valuing it but really anyone. Some people would just rather make that extra buck by continuously renting it out and not doing the maintenance. I am willing to bet he has made his money back on that car plus some. Hopefully it will be restored before it gets much worse.
220k of rental kilometers with not the best maintenance (going off the poor rust repair and just the general look under the hood) and it's still going strong says a lot about the r34 GTR....need one
it's sad to see it in that condition. but at that mileage and with rust in the strut towers like that i'm not expecting it to pass it's next shaken and may be scrapped for parts ='(
Yea it is definitely sad. Idk how much the rust will effect it for inspection. I imagine with it being on the strut towers like that it could effect the structural integrity.
thats alright lol i could never afford it my only luck is hopefully some idiot brings one to the states destroys it and i find it as a barn find and bring it back to life
Poor beast hasn't had the care and respect it deserves :(
Definitely has seen better days
Agree. But they're rentals. And when it's time to sell them, they're going to still be expensive. lol
Loved all of the recent content man, great work.
Thanks man! Glad you have enjoyed it
notice the couple at 4:37 admiring your whip lol Nice vid as always man thanks for taking us on your trip to Japan!
Didn't even notice that lol! Thanks for watching the Tokyo trip man!
Thanks for showing us the real Tokyo, I really enjoyed this series of videos (and all the others!) Please stay in Japan!!
Thanks man! I enjoyed making these a lot. I will definitely be in Japan for about another year so nothing to worry about yet lol
Dude the blue is so iconic man one of yhe best colors on the r34 love the video man thanks bro!!!
The blue is definitely an icon on these cars!
Thank you for the video man! So cool to see whats available! Really enjoy the videos you make and respect so much how you let mason get involved in them so much, he is adorable! Thanks again and hope your trip back to Okinawa was a safe one.

I really loved the whole series!! I swear those model cars are so awesome i couldn't resist buying em!!
Thanks dude! Glad you enjoyed the trip
Another great video in this series. It might not have been a pristine GTR yet it still looks pretty fresh overall, and as you say it's a true legend. Your kid makes me laugh and is becoming quite the star in your recent videos lol...
haha thanks man! Mason is the man! One day he will take over the TH-cam channel lol
bro thank u for sharing this amazing tokio trip video. this car videos just keep on getting better and better. itz beautiful to see how much u value FAMILY. keep it up man.!! 10 out of 10 🌟
Thanks so much dude!

Thanks man! I like to throw random stuff like that in the videos for you guys to get the full Japan experience
great video man! i have the car booked for tomorrow i'm even more excited after watching this!
Nice dude! Enjoy it and have fun!
Ever since I was a kid I wondered what it would be like living in Japan for a bit getting to do most activities that you've been indulging on. Just wanna say thank you on behalf of all us viewers for this great outlook on Japan living for a westerner like yourself :-) Cheers!!!
That is one of the reasons I started making these! I am glad you enjoy them man!
YourCarBro keep up the great work bro! Very inspired by you.
I've been checking out your channel for a couple days now and love your content you got your self another sub.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy my videos!
YourCarBro thanks for the reply. I want to import a 1992 r32 gtr would it be best to go hand pick it from Japan or just look for a company to import one for me?
Guess who
Driving any gtr in Japan is like riding Godzilla to school on your first day.
haha good way to put it
I'm late, but brought some popcorn for everyone! 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
K24power07. Cool thanks that was nice of you to do :D
You the real MVP

Man that thing is still so sexy! Keep pumping out videos man! Pretty excited to see the r32 again!
Back in Okinawa with the 32 video coming soon :)

I'd rent a R34 GTR if Im ever in Toyko! This is an awesome series bro and a great insight into Toyko! Mason cracks me up, he reminds me a lot of my son who is 5. As always, keep up the great work bro!
Definitely worth it for a day or two! Mason always has something funny to say when we start talking about cars lol. Take care man!
The scenery was nice, so was the car spotting was sweet also.
Glad it was enjoyable!
It was worth the rent imo, But it's not something i'd do since it's too overrated in some way if you know what i mean but it was cool seeing it. Keep up the videos man they're really enjoyable and entertaining

Quantum Pleb 🙄
Aww they had the tomica Supra I need to get mine

Thanks man you should! I think if you are in the US you can get them at the post office. My dad got one before coming to visit and I think he just had to pay $50 or something like that.
Thanks for these videos, I'm going to be in Tokyo Jan 5th to the 10th and I am looking into renting an R34!
how much for the rent a day?
How much do they charge deposit?
Next time when you're in Tokyo, use google maps. Much better than the GPS in the car. BTW, you stationed @ Kadena? Was there from 2011 - 2014 (FSS, @the DFAC). Now, live around Tokyo. Love the civilian life.
Very relevant vid for those of us contemplating renting from this place.
Awesome video hope to see another series on a major city ( maybe Osaka?) 🤔🤔👏🏼👏🏼
We will see! Not sure if I will be able to make to many more trips to mainland before I leave in about 10 months. I'll definitely be back in Tokyo for Tokyo Auto Salon though!
the video quality is rly good :)
Thank you!

Greetings! Tell me, how much is the national team R34? And a small iron? Thank you. :)
where was the country road near the rental car place? I'm renting this soon and would also like a few pictures.
The rust is from improper crash repair. You can see lots of crash videos of the cars- uploaded by the company themselves.

What costs are involved in renting something like this?
Mall’s name ?
late to the party but I read somewhere on reddit that the driver's seat window in this particular R34 could not be fully closed? is that true? thinking of renting this but something like that could be a dealbreaker especially in colder weather..
I did not notice that when I rented it.
Hey Bro!!! My brother and i are going to Tokyo, Japan (in a week) and are going to the exact same rental place. We are going to be renting the silver BNR34 and possibly the Spirit R as well.

Sounds like an awesome plan man! I am excited for you!
I really appreciate it =) thanks for the great videos, I always look forward to them.
I know aesthetically a skyline is leaps and bounds nicer then an evo but mechanically how does it compare to your evo 4?
My 32 feels so much better than the Evo 4. I think it also has a lot to do with it being that particular Evo though. It has some rust and the suspension is shot. The Evo is pretty quick though and I think it would be a close straight line race
I went to the website since I'll be stationed in Oki next year, surprised not to seen an S15?
They had one there. Not sure why it wasn't on the website
Turbo speeeeeed 😂love it
Nice R34 i want to get one imported but probably not going to happen
Yea not yet. Maybe in a few years when they are legal!
what kind of 90s sport cars are available to rental in tokyo? is there r35 in rentel? and the price would be different than r34?
Check out the website in the description of the original renting and r34 gtr video from a few days ago. You can see all of their inventory there
Dude I love mason!
He is awesome
How much longer you got in Oki? I'm pcsing over there in Dec and would be great to link up
I will be here then!
Im so jealous man.. maybe you should keep the r34 in mind when you want to upgrade!
Maybe one day!
What about the turbo any lag etc? Is power restricted?
I don't think power was restricted but it did feel a bit underpowered like maybe it needed a tune up.
How much for the two days you rented?
I cant remember for sure. It is on their website though. I think it was around $180
Definitely seems worth it my man! Might consider it when in Japan
Definitely interested at 9:50 :^)
haha I knew someone had to be!
Name checks out
sameeee
Subscribed
How cost a GTR r34?
He said $234 (usa dollar) for 1 day
Went on the shutoku, didn't take pictures in the parking area. Smh
Because I am so familiar with where to go in Tokyo...Smh
You know off the top of your head if you ever come across Subaru Legacy Wagon (aka Subaru BP5) models or die-casts?
I actually don't think I have seen any of those
Wait. Are you just on vacation from Okinawa?
Yep I live in Okinawa.
Rent a Lambo is cheaper than in NYC.
Not to mention they're giving you unlimited mileage which is a huge plus.
if i'm in tokyo next time you come here i take you around, then i can save you from that hard expansive learning. and lost time. nice videos
Sounds great. Thanks man!
Do u think u would have beat it in a race between the rental and your car now?
Mason is awesome go turbo speed!
I think my car would have easily taken this particular r34!
Back in Okinawa you say? It would be a lot more rusty haha.
You will absolutely love the sound of the B.O.V (blow off valve) when you get an intake for it.
Thanks bro great content great followers👍✌👊
The mileage isn't anything to worry about. They'll go 400k without much issue.
With proper maintenance maybe so. I have yet to see any that high in person
how much was per day ?
th-cam.com/video/6HH2Kv8Cr1I/w-d-xo.html
What's are the name of the box cars? I need them! 😭
Box cars? The toys at the end or all the box shaped cars driving around Japan?
the plastic model cars or the one Spencer and Mason bought at the end of the video?
In that condition what Would you pay for it?
I am really not sure. Last I checked a few months ago the stock 34 GTRs were starting at around 50K USD over here. I know someone who bought a salvaged title one for 38k USD so I'd say somewhere between that maybe
I'd drop 50k without blinking.
I will be renting a car from there soon. Going on the 18th of this month. Probably getting an R34...LOL.
I will play some music from Tokyo Xtreme Racer while driving the actual highways the game's based off. Something I've wanted to do since a kid. Finally happening.
Shame they're treated like this :( wish people would take more care
Louis Hamilton it's just a car. Literally
its not "just a car" to everyone so shhh
Why they treated the car like that maybe because the R34 GTR isn't a huge deal for the Japanese. They probably dont value the car the same way we do because they're a such common sighting for them there.
It really is a shame and TopSecret down there might be right partially. Not even just Japanese people not valuing it but really anyone. YourCarBro exactly.
220k of rental kilometers with not the best maintenance (going off the poor rust repair and just the general look under the hood) and it's still going strong says a lot about the r34 GTR....need one
Fairly strong lol. My 32 felt a lot better performance wise
$12 toll booth?!? no wonder everyone uses the train and bicycle over driving.
how much is the rental?
You can check on their website but if I remember correctly it was around $200ish for 24 hours.
Are u sure it's not a clone R34 GTT or is it a real GTR, did u check ? And also the supra is it a genuine RZ 6 speed twin turbo?
StrongZero
My drink of choice! ;)
dude, if you're still in Tokyo, you should do an UP Garage tour/comparison video there :) might be cool
it's sad to see it in that condition. but at that mileage and with rust in the strut towers like that i'm not expecting it to pass it's next shaken and may be scrapped for parts ='(
Yea it is definitely sad. Idk how much the rust will effect it for inspection. I imagine with it being on the strut towers like that it could effect the structural integrity.
if you go to facebook.com/TheGTRshopLtd/ you can see how much work it is to fix rust like that on a r33 gtr LM they restored
I'll still take it as is!!!😉
Definitely worth the rent for the one time experience. But the car is abused, shame its not better taken care of.
It was definitely fun and worth it but like you said it is pretty said seeing it starting to rust away
I would have rented it!
He's not going to the moon today. Good to know. ;)
haha that made me laugh
For a car that’s 20 years old it still runs perfectly
Dude you didn't film the inside wall of omishiro smh
lol I really don't see the big deal about the wall.
