This looks amazing, I'm planning on renting from this shop. How is your experience using GPS out there? Is it easy to follow? And do their cars come with a phone holder to use as GPS?
I use Google maps with very little issue. Typically it's my mistake since I don't know the roads and I'll have to circle or take a different exit... I would recommend getting the etc card option when you rent. It makes getting through all the tolls so much easier then having to use cash. Otherwise bring enough cash. I bring my own phone holder - I have a cheap Amazon vent and a CD style option depending on the car. Just look at the dash layout and see what'll work best. DM me on IG if you want to talk in further detail. Hope this helps
I can recommend them all 😎 Depends on the direction you want to go. North I would do a set of initial d locations South would be hakone and the five lakes around fuji If you have time, of course check out daikoku pa before you return the car. DM me on IG and I'll try and help you out
Hey, we’re going to Japan soon and planning to book a car from them. Do you know if the car’s are unlimited kilometres? I couldn’t see any information on their website. Thank you in advance.
Should be unlimited for distance.. you can confirm under the specific car you're looking at.. it's says down below the description, above the calendar dates. Dm me if you need anything else and I'll try and help out. Have fun 😎
Hey mate, I'm really interested in renting a car from this same place but was just a bit worried about the whole NOC. I know you pay CDW insurance when renting, but is there any way to get insurance for NOC or how strict are they on that?
They are strict. In there contract that you sign it basically says if anything goes wrong or gets damaged you're paying (dents, dings, tires and etc). All except their brand new cars all have minor issues and none of the classic cars are perfect. Not sure on NOC maybe your credit card has something. I've rented a half dozen cars from them so far.. DM me on IG and I'll try and help
I've only got an ETC once and that was when I rented a normal car from one of the major rental car companies. Is there a reason that you want an ETC? The entire time I'm there I just pay cash at all the tolls. It would be easier with an ETC but not mandatory. Not like a Pasmo or IC card for the trains.. I feel like those make life on the trains so much easier.
@@KanaRacing oh i though is was mandatory to use ETC card. If its not then i can pay it with cash yes? Cause i thought all Japan toll required to use ETC card like my country
Cash is an option. I only use cash when I'm in Japan. They have separate toll booths for cash and etc. in all my driving I've only found 1 toll plaza that didn't accept cash and I was way out in the county away from the city for that one. So I had gps reroute to the next off ramp that took cash.
I think it says they can monitor. The dash cam looks out the windshield and in the cabin. I would think it also has gps.. I've never had them question where I take the cars though.
At the head office in noda (Tokyo) they have about 50-60 cars to pick from Most of their other locations outside of tokyo only have a few cars to pick from.
Me and my friends are going to go Japan next summer but I will be 21 years old at the time. They claim that their customers need to be least 23-year-old to rent a car. I guess there is no a way around it...😢
They definitely check at Omoshiro.. if you don't have a driver that's 23. Look into the standard rentals, some might be 18+ (times, Nissan and Toyota) the one advantage of these "standard" rentals is you can get an ETC card for all the tolls.
@@KanaRacing I found a place where they rent exotic cars for 21-year-olds. Surely the price is little higher but I don't mind. We really don't need a car in the first place. It's just for a great memories and experience so that's why we were looking for exotic cars only. Is there anything specific we would need to know before driving in Tokyo other than driver's license policy they demand there?
Where is the location of this shop? And what are the driving license requirements, do they strictly check the date of issue of our domestic license? I see that they mentioned holding a MT license for over 3 years as a requirement, because I have 2 years experience almost, would that be an issue ?
The Omoshiro that I was at is their Noda location. About 45min from Tokyo. They do check license and make a copy at the time of rental. I'm not sure if they'd notice or not, but they are very strict with their rules and ect. There should almost be an age requirement like 25 (you'll have to confirm). Liberty walk at the end of the vid is located in Shinjuku
@@KanaRacing Hi there mate, thanks a lot for your reply. I was just wondering what's the best way to contact them for enquires, do you have their contact like phone number/email? I'm over 25 but the issue is they mentioned renter must hold MT license for over 3 years while I have it for 2 years, I really hope I can get the chance to try this experience man.
Yep. That's it. They want you to reserve with a Credit Card too. I'm headed back out to Japan tomorrow.. got 2 more rentals for this trip. DM me if you have any other questions and I'll try and help you out

The train will drop you off about a 10-15min walk from the rental spot. Looks like it's a couple trains and about 1.5hrs from Narita. Google maps will give you the exact.
I believe you have a credit card on file and the charge your card when you return the vehicle... I'm not sure that they hold a deposit. Best to email them. They have good customer service and should respond to your email.
They do offer insurance. When you go through the paperwork at the place it seems like you're going to have to pay no matter what happens. Ive never had a problem.. at least so far
That’s the Lewis Hamilton r34 ain’t it?
it sure is ;) and I had the pleasure of being able to drive it whilst I was in Japan. Amazing experience.

seeing them rot outside fucking hurts
It really does. The junk ones though have been crashed so they use them for donor parts. and then they just sit out there.

That such a cool place. Do you remember how much did you paid at the end for one “trip” with one of these? Nice video btw!
About $900 total.. car, tolls and gas for the week.
It's 2-300 in gas and another 2-300 in tolls depending on how far you drive

I think it says they can monitor. The dash cam looks out the windshield and in the cabin. I would think it also has gps.. I've never had them question where I take the cars though.
Do they have more cars on site or are the all cars on their webpage. As all I can see on their page are 4-5cars per site.
