Quick heads up for who doesn't know this yet. Nightmare's brain is not actually a brain, it's just how the Nightmare Endoskeleton is designed to look like a human skull, comparing Nightmare Mangle's second head to Nightmare's endo head give us a clear view of this.
@@NatterJohn I'm aware, I just wrote it in case some people still believed in it for some reason. On that note great work on the iceberg, very well put together.
Same thing but mostly because of mattpat i wached every video without skiping a single time but lil t's iceberg was almost as detailed about the important ones as mattpats
Theorists: "And here we have some distorted plushies in the game files. I wonder what they were used for?" The game designers while working on HW: "lmao look at what I can do with this plush"
Scott himself said he didn't have a story solidified in the first game so using MatPat's rule we can assume that the bite of '87 could have been rewritten to take place in '83 instead. There's already enough inconsistencies so more up to date information should probably be more trusted.
Also, the Fredbear and friends TV show existed before Fazbear Entertainment was founded, so maybe 1983 is just the date from the shows release, so Fredbear biting The CC could be the bite of 87
Well yes, but 1. Fredbear's was closed during 1987 and for many years beforehand as confirmed by Phone Guy 2. A yellow suit is mentioned by Phone Guy on Night 6 of FNAF 2, meaning both Fredbear and Springbonnie were discontinued 3. Animatronics could walk around in the day during FNAF 2, so the Bite of 87 probably took place at the FNAF 2 location during the final birthday party after Night 6, likely caused by either Toy Chica or Mangle. Check and mate.
@@cheesyfazbear6827 ok but isn't the victim of the bite the child of the owner of the franchise or something? and the kids who put him in the mouth his brother and his goonies? i'd say there's a non zero chance they stole the keys to the pizzeria from their father or something and did the thing. This is almost 100% wrong but whatever i typed it imma post it
Bro Scott’s first freelance artist was a psycho holy sh*t. Imagine how ugly that must’ve felt to have one of ur workers’ fanfics depicting such horrible sh*t in such detail using your characters in an already tragic and horrifying story and then add on 80 more layers of disturbing to it. I’m glad he fired her lol.
I couldn't find where he.. umm "did that" to them, i mean i don't know why she did it in the first place. But barney was more of a psychopathic murder, i probably skipped pasted it (which is for the better) not that i like that how detailed the deaths were or how gross they were. Curiosity didn't kill me, but it probably spared me
ive heard about them but its kina funny how no one on tumblr knows about them, ive had to tell people Scott didnt draw that poster... i dont think hes that talented not that you could call that book poster talent 😔
34:25 Pretty sure the buttons being “white” are just because of how reflective they are. Looks like they appear brighter when a light is shone on them, which explains how in that last example one is black, and the other appears white. It’s just at a different angle.
The scream sound from FNAF 1 that’s from Inseminoid (the woman giving birth to an alien) is confirmed to have not been intentional. Scott just took stock sounds and found one he liked. It’s just unknown ignorance that stock sound was from the movie.
just a thought on Foxy's two hands, often when 3D models are made they're done on a sort of mirror mode and edited with asymmetrical details later. It could be his hook just wasn't added yet.
I'm surprised that the pizzeria coordinate incident wasn't mentioned, I don't really recall the incident vividly but I'll tell you what I know I remember Scott posted an image on his website and when people inspected the image people found numbers consisting of 87s and 83s (I forgot how it works), well some people put in the numbers as coordinates, and actually found a pizzeria, so when word went out people were constantly calling the pizzeria asking questions about fnaf. the thing is, is the the image inspect numbers were just a little reference between the dates 1987 and 1983, and were not at all meant to be coordinates, it was just a funny coincidence. Scott had to make his first reddit post telling the community to leave the pizzeria alone. What's cool is that the pizzeria was super chill about it and I think they made a little event from it or something
Interestingly enough, the animatronics being 6ft and taller is a common method IRL because perspective. If they were the same size as humans or smaller, minute details wouldn't be as easily discernible from stage distances. That's why human actors on stage overact. Take Rockafire animatronics, for example. Stand some up, and they can stand a head or two taller than their engineers. Contrast to Disney's realistic-proportioned animatronics, which are more realistically sized due to ride restrictions.
Glitchtraps design is most terrifying out of everyones imo. because it has more of a real look to it than all the other animatronics. that was probably the intent behind it. since it is a literal costume and not a robot.
@@AverageT does fnaf have an art style? lol its a bunch of plastic or metal looking robots ha. but i agree. his costume is more leather-like as supposed to fur or metallic
The big difference a Puppet and a Marionette has between each other is the method of control. See, a Marionette requires a connected piece called a 'control bar' usually fashioned out of wood. This controls things like limb movement, posture, stuff like that. With a standard puppet, however, controlling it requires placing the hand in said puppet. Since we can clearly see the Marionette's strings in FNaF 2, I think it's safe to deduce that the proper moniker would be 'Marionette' over 'Puppet'. Granted, both people in control are referred to as 'Puppeteers', so... I guess it doesn't matter TOO too much.
Unrelated, but the reason muppets are called, well, muppets, is because they're a combination of both marionettes and puppets; they use both strings and hands to function. So marionette + puppet = muppet
honestly, the fnaf au from the artist rebornica (and by now they've had many different names...) contributed a LOT to the fnaf community, especially in 2014-2016. their fnaf au has had so much impact that people STILL make content about mike schmidt and vincent purple guy to this day it's really sad that they are and always have been an incredibly shitty person though...
I don’t know if anybody’s said this yet, but maybe the reason there was a toxic meter was to prevent you from leaving the mask on the whole time, since you could use the flashlight while you had the mask on.
Well I mean they didn’t start movie production fully until like 2017-18 then it was cancelled (so back to square one) then it was picked up and started again in 2020 but now because of COVID, production can take a longer time than what is normally expected :)
there’s a movie called the banana splits it’s about 4 animatronics who glitch out and kill people it’s similar to fnaf but obviously different! still waiting on a fnaf movie tho
The 1993 Aurora shooting(1:36:00) was never brought up again after matpat by anybody until now. Hearing it being talked about again like this actually brought back some memories, as I distinctly remember being very disturbed when I heard it for the first time as a child. And that thing about the guy who was shot in the jaw and played dead to survive...crazy
P.S. It was probably never brought up again because people did not want to make connections between a fictional horror game franchise and an actual real life shooting(which i respect).
@@krypticunlimited6925 yeah I remember watching that video as a kid and now that I'm grown I think it was a little disrespectful of Matt to bring it up, same goes for games like Petscop or YiiK, but nonetheless it was horrifying to hear about.
@@krypticunlimited6925 yeah tbh, as i was watching this and heard about matpat making those links i thought it was pretty disrespectful. to compare a fictional video game to a very much real life tragedy is messed up to me
@@tak-pa3134 that’s not really an excuse but okay. a gruesome and tragic real life event doesn’t compare to a game and shouldn’t be used for content, but i understand what you’re saying.

I find it funny that the Showtime sequence in FNAF Help Wanted was only scrapped because Scott couldn’t find a voice actor for Freddy he liked, and then the person who did it that we hear in the unused song went on to voice Freddy anyways
Dayshift at Freddy's is still a fave game of mine, even above fnaf. It was like a parody that actually turned kinda deep. I remember being so spooked after doing the purple guy route and all the animatronics being spoopy at me 😅
Dayshift at Freddy's is basically Fuckboy's cooler brother. And unlike Dayshift, Fuckboys really got old and is now just a relic/time machine of what used to be funny on the internet, as a lot of the humour there relied heavily on memes lets be hoenst. Meanwhile Dayshift despite coming out 5 years ago still feels just as quotable and timeless as it did at the release. i still fucking quote a lot of stuff from it just from how funny it was.
Mhm! Not many people talk about it! (Even less people talk about dialtown) It deserves alot more respect because the lore of DSAF stands up way better than FNAF's mismanaged and retconned lore, also it has so much more emotion attatched to it for me, dave is definitely a sympathetic character and the ending of dsaf 3? The whole Henry boss? chefs kiss!
@@EpicGamer-fl7fn i think its because DSAF is quite contained in itself humour wise (the doggo jokes might be an exception?? But they never bothered me) whereas as you said fuckboy's relys on internet humour at the time
fun fact: if you didnt know, the reason Golden Freddy is broken and beaten with wires hanging out is because after the bite of 83 (Evans death) William Afton destroyed the original Fredbear out of rage because of his sons death from the animatronic, and even after Evan leaves and decides his spirit can rest, the other spirit in Golden Freddy wanted to torture their killer (William Afton) and refused to let him die so thats why *he always comes back*
I dont understand why everyone is saying there are 2 souls in the Fredbear's suit, where is this shown? As far as I remember, it was only the crying child. 🤔
this iceberg has potential. however, whoever put together the iceberg seems to not understand how to structure an iceberg... the whole POINT of the iceberg format is to sort the items, common knowledge being towards the top layers, and as you go down you get the more obscure knowledge. Another good way to do is from less creepy to more creepy..or less mysterious to more mysterious.. However, this iceberg is just a mess and doesn't follow ANY of these...instead seeming like all of it was shuffled around, and stuff was only put on a lower layer because the current layer ran out of space. if you randomly shuffled the items on this iceberg, it would feel just as unorganized. in "the aybss" theres a turtle model.. and yet a few layers up was the story of LadyFitzi.. just one example of unorganized distribution. the video is great, and this iceberg has a lot of cool info, but damn.. it REALLY needs a massive re-organization to be good
The reason the Iceberg is like that is because of limited space. If I had more space, it would not have looked like that. I literally had to add 3 extra layers to the template just to fit it all in. If an entry you feel should be higher is lower, chances are I just didn’t have the space to put it on its correct layer. I tried to balance obscurity and creepiness to make it look better but it didn’t really work out. I apologise if this ruined the video for you but there was really no alternative. I addressed this when we recorded the interview but Lil T had to cut it out because the video was getting too large to export. If I ever remake this Iceberg (which I probably won’t but let’s say it hypothetically anyway) I might use a smaller font size to see does that give me more space.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who registered that. The surface most layer was good but as soon as we got into the "tip" section it started feeling pretty scrambled. Fnaf as a series has a fantastic set of lore and Easter eggs that truly lends itself to this kind of video (i.e. the fun stuff you learn just by playing the first 2 games is the surface, the connections between the games would fit in the tip, the real world issues like Scott's donations would fit in a lower layer, etc.) This felt like someone tried to smoosh 3 different iceberg layouts together rather than someone with an in depth understanding of the fandoms fascination with fnaf.
I noticed that too, but I get the problem with limited space. Would be cool to see it get a reorganization remake, but that would probably take a decent amount of work
i thought it was well organized if its based on perceived popularity of each lore theory/easter egg/creator fact/fandom creations, but if we’re going by how an iceberg should be made, then yeah the real suspense wouldve been darker facts at the bottom lmao
the fact that fnaf turned into a kid's franchise will never not feel weird. a franchise about a man who murders children and shoves their corpses inside of robots, and now there's toys from it in every store, meant for young children. i'm not saying it doesn't make sense, kids like things that they aren't supposed to like, which is why horror has always been really popular with them, but it's still such a strange situation the fnaf VHS videos that went around a while ago show off what i mean really well. they focus on the implications that the game series just brushed over, and it suddenly becomes much much darker
29:25 it could just be that springtrap is covered in rubble and considering what time of day the photo was shot (most likely at night) it could just be springtraps way of saying "I survived".
Fnaf is one of those games with one of the most disturbing stories of a serial killer i have ever heard about, it's honestly so cool to see how far fnaf has came
the toxic meter was probably used before the "Puppet" was even made. because scott didn't want the player cheating by just keeping the mask on... Thanks for the likes I have never gotten so much C:
Ah that fake Freddy's Pizzaria image, I remember someone fubbed a Freddy Fazbear's location on Google Maps at some point using that image, some kids in the comments claiming they'd been there. Something in the same vein that you could add to the iceberg would be all the fake numbers/calls to the ""real Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria""... I remember a fake video of a kid calling a certain number and """"Freddy""" picking up. I remember a number for a place called Freddy's being thrown around, my brother even called the number himself and talked to a very disgruntled storeowner running some food shop with "Freddy's" in the name who was being overwhelmed with calls from young fans of the game trying to find the real Freddy's Pizzaria... It got to the point where Scott had to make a post telling people that Freddy's is a fictional place and to _STOP pestering real businesses with phone calls._
Honestly I don’t think matpat is milking the series, I think he knows it’s his most popular series but I general think he’s only making more because he’s actually trying to solve it. And people get upset whenever he doesn’t make one and I imagine he feels obligated to make em
funny thing about Scott debating on foxys animal, a fox, bever or wolf, is that not only have we gotten both as side characters in recent games and books roxxanne wolf seems to be taking his place in security breach
@@cunkjunk Well, the name was not decided yet. In fact, the names of the animatronics we know today were just placeholders. In fact, Freddy was supposed to be renamed to Freddybear, but Scott had grown fond of the placeholder names and decided to keep them
@@qualitycontent5244 but it says it takes place in Utah, although that could be book cannon and not game cannon but I honestly don’t see a reason why it would be different

Plushtrap is definitely not once a save, sadly. I wish it was, I’ve lost out on so many prizes. How rare even is he? I got him as my first prize in HW, then got a normal prize, then got plushtrap 3 times in a row. It’s crazy. I’ve heard some people say he’s more common on easy levels, and I was warming up with parts and service, so maybe?
In my opinion the theory about the aurora shooting would have been seriously disrespectful, if not for the fact that if you actually watch matpat's theories dealing with real events he always treats them with the utmost respect.
I don't know, when Petscop gained attention and he made video on it, I remember I felt he didn't show respect when he mentioned a real life death of a child.
@@securitybureauagent3714 understandable, I think I'd feel iffy about that too. On one hand you help the victim be remembered and I think there's a lesson to be learned in every true crime case, but on the other hand you don't know if people related to the victim will be okay with how you reference the case and can't predict if the audience will be respectful.
If we’re doing fan entries, it would be a funny “joke-that’s-kind-of-a-joke-but-not-really” entry would be the whole “FNAF is a Jojo reference” thing. The connection is that various characters in FNAF share a voice actor or two with various characters in English dubs of a few anime, including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

1:33:05 I don't know which video it was, but in one of the Fnaf 1 Markiplier videos, he also mentions a bunch of the names of future characters and kids in a joke he was making. It was something like "Was that you Jeremy? Mike, Susie?" etc.
29:52 there's a rare poster (idk how rare actually) where freddy tries to split his head open (probably trying to escape) the hands are on the same spots as the handprints are too.
1:29:54 those plushy models look like low poly versions of the plushies. They where probably meant to be used when the player view the models at a distance so the game was using less resources on rendering them.
The "puppet-looking thing" picture mentioned at 1:04:39 is a frame from the 1997 film "The Game", directed by David Fincher. The "eye" is actually a camera placed inside of a clown puppet that spies on Nicholas Van Orton (the protagonist) moments before he receives instructions to proceed with "The Game" he is part of. Really awesome film.
42:53 this reminds me of how halo 1 was supposed to be bungie's only game but got so much hype that they made another and we all know how that story still goes on to this day
Living Tombstone: People also thought that The Living Tombstone and Scott were in kahoots and that the music, and the music videos were trying to tell us lore about what happened which was completely false.
Oh yeah, with that gravity falls part, not only did they accidently reference FNAF they totally predicted DDLC, even having virtual girl sharing a bow with Monika and even go through the same realization that their in a dating sim!
My theory for Mangle's gender is that the animatronic frame is masculine, but the parts on top of it were supposed to be feminine. However, this got messed up by Mangle being- y'know, mangled, so it's technically both depending on what part you're referring to.
My theory of Mangle's gender is that it's a robot. That's it. If that isn't enough then it's just gender ambiguous (aka it's purposefuly left up to interpretation and anyone can draw their own conclusion, with none being necessarily true)
Speakkng of Toreador March, One time for a school field trip back in elementary school, when I was deep in a fnaf phase. We went to a classical music show, and it was a big theature they invited my school to. It was quite a long music show.. And I remember sitting next to a few friends, being somewhat bored.. yet, interested at the same time. And at the very end of the show.. When we were walking out, I heard the melody of Toreador March. And gradually, began to recognize it. And boy did I get excited. At the time, I didnt know it was a song outside of Five Nights At Freddy's. And I was enthusiastically telling my friends beside me, "GUYS! THIS IS THE SONG FROM FNAF, THEY LIKE FNAF!!" I didnt get much of a response from my peers, and I didnt know who else to tell, but boy did it make me happy.
i hate to be that guy, but this should technically be considered a supercut instead of a directors cut. A director's cut is a version of a movie which was created by said director but was later changed by whatever publishing group released the movie.
up until a few years ago i didn't know that that Freddys arm in the fnaf 1 trailer was a Clipping error. i used to think it was just that there was a hole in the suit showing the mechanical pistons of the Endo-skeletons .arm
1:12:47 ucn is a canon game in which golden freddy's soul\souls are tormenting william in either the afterlife, or through some kind of hallucinations. one of golden freddy's souls (most likely and even more likley because of this theory) is the crying child, the *same* crying child that you play as in fnaf 4, where william is tormenting his SON in order to make him afraid of the animatronics for a reason that would take too long to explain here, so im thinking that the crying child is now tormenting his dad with the same lines that he had to hear coming from nightmare all those years ago, finally getting back at his dad whilst turing the tables! god i love this series

have i really spend over 4 hours watching fnaf videos today? ofc would i do it again? *absolutely* ive just stumbled upon your channel and honestly, keep up the work, this video was executed so well
Here's a little entry for you if your friend wants to add it to the iceburg. When Curse of Dreadbear was released I somehow, and I still don't know how this happened, I brought a version of the game that must've been a beta or something because I had access to some games that weren't playable yet and the original versions of other levels, featuring t-posing Fnaf 1 Foxy murdering me in the hallway. I uploaded a video on my channel back in the day but it didn't really gain the traction I was hoping it would so I think it would make a brilliant entry
Just one more entry that wasn’t on the list but that I would like to bring up. Alien Blackout: This was a mobile game sequel to the popular survival horror game, Alien Isolation (also released in 2014). The game consists off Amanda sitting in an office off a space station and she has to use the cameras to guide crew members out off the ship and keep the alien out her office as well with the help off doors and ventlocks. If this sounds familiar that’s because it is. Both the trailer and game were slammed for being a blatant FNAF knock off and it also stirred up alot off uproar in the alien fanbase as they still had bad memories, from the Alien Covenant movie and the dumpster fire game, Colonial Marines. It would also take another two years until a decent game would release.
My two cents with the "cancelled" FNaF ride: I wouldn't say it is canned, just no one has picked it up. Basically, they announced the ride for potential buyers to put in parks. I'm guessing no park has yet to take up on the offer. Other than that, good video. Going through this really brought nostalgia to me. EDIT: Going back to the "Chris" section. Oh boy, the nostalgia hit me hard. The animator was one of my early art inspirations.
The Plushtrap prize jumpscare is broken in the Switch port of Help Wanted: it doesn't count the stage as complete, and you need to beat it again (it really screwed me up, when I finally beat Night 5 of FNAF 1, which I struggled with, and lost it to Plushtrap)
29:33 I can answer this. Springtrap is laying down on his side. If you rotate the image by 90 degrees, you can see springtrap's head is sideways. Afton may be playing dead here since it'd be a BAD idea to move around in public. I also originally thought afton's corpse may have burnt to nothing so he'd not look suspicious but that's debateable. Could be hint or lead to why he turned into scraptrap.
kinda interesting at you guys said you don't think people care about fnaf 4, I see people saying it's the best one all the time, whenever I see someone asking for people to list their favourites it's usually top three alongside fnaf1 and fnaf2 amazing video btw! it was so fun to watch, I usually have iceberg videos in the background as I do stuff but this one was so good I just sat down to watch it with full attention, well done :)))

As someone who knows this stuff thoroughly: - Mangle was likely intended to be a male during lore and dialogue writing. Only when he started making the actual toy models did he switch Mangle's visual gender to female. After that, the inconsistency became one of Scott's many jokes about his errors. As a side-note, robots are not living and possess no gender. It's safe to assume that during the development of FNAF 1-4, he didn't even have any characters in mind for the possessors. - Withered Bonnie's eyes appear white due to FNAF 2's desaturation filter, present on the title screen and cameras. It's not an intentional detail; you and whoever made this should realize now that this game is devoid of complex details like that. Unfortunately, it's kinda just an improvised mess of basic ideas. - Similarly to that, BB and Fredbear's buttons appear white sometimes due to reflection. There are inconsistencies, but there's too many to name and I'd like to keep these to myself due to the fact that a large majority of these haven't been discovered yet. - FNAF 1 Bonnie =/= all other Bonnies. In the first game, he is indigo, leaning more purple. Most visible in UCN where he's finally self-illuminated by white lighting. The daytime renders make him look purple, the nighttime renders make him look blue. Both because of lighting. - Again, the height thing is because he doesn't have a deliberate system in place. He rarely has any consistency in mind beyond it being functional. He likely rescales the characters into the scenes without even thinking about the world scale. - "I think it's just light seeping through [BB's] mouth." It is. - Not really related to FNAF, but to punish someone in an on-going investigation is really immature and mindless. Going simply off of Twitter screenshots is how you get lots of innocent people's lives ruined. I don't know anything about Mando, but if you don't know, you don't know. Retain neutrality until you have citable evidence. - I'd be willing to bet Molten Freddy's eye color is just another lighting color misconception. - Chica's eye is not missing on the show stage. That's just lighting.
" but there's too many to name and I'd like to keep these to myself due to the fact that a large majority of these haven't been discovered yet." ??????????? what are they then I'm sure there's tons of other people who don't have platforms to share them found them. Please share I would actually love to know I love consistency mistakes.
After the discussion about the following timelines between FNAF 1 and SL, here's the real theoretically timeline: - FNAF 4 - FNAF 2 - FNAF 1 - FNAF Sister Location - FNAF 3 - Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator - Ultimate Custom Night - FNAF Help Wanted - FNAF Security Breach And of course the non canon games are: - FNAF World - FNAF AR: Special Delivery (But there's theories, that Fazbear Entertainment earned good money with this game alongside Help Wanted, so they could build the Security Breach mall, AR has no story or something)
I actually thought, Sister Location is before FNAF 4 (because of the Baby Minigame for example, but that minigame is just a flashback, of what happened, shortly before FNAF 4)
1:29:44 you can’t trust everything you read on the internet, these were used as crushed items in the elevator of enards vent repair. I forget if it’s the nightmare or original but they are there.
Oh god, Shadow BB, I remember that, I started that hoax, but see, I genuinely believed it was real. I went to the fandom wikia and fought with the mods over it. I didn't play FNAF 2, I just watched videos on it, I had a friend at school who did, and he told me HE saw Shadow BB, he hadn't lied to me before, so I went about trying to make an addition to the Shadow Animatronics page, ultimately, I put two and two together and realized he was lying, with his odd stories that didn't align up, and apologized to the mods before just going back to watching the games.
XOR isn't random letters, it's a type of logic function that produces a true output if it has any one true input but not if it has more than one. I have no idea how that's relevant to the fnaf character, but it's almost definitely where the name comes from.
Regarding the discussion about Michael being fired for odor prior to him getting scooped, if we remember in help wanted tape girl did say that the company does come up with minor offenses to write their employees up for when they’re planning on firing them so if this has been a long standing trend for Fazbear entertainment then it’s quiet possible that that’s why Michael kept getting fired for odor, not cause he was already scooped and rotted purple at the time but because he had actually stuck around instead of caving to all the dumb offenses that Fazbear was trying to make him just rage quit over and after the long ass paper trail of the dumb offenses just eventually wrote “odor” as part of the main reason for his termination. Though this does open the question of whether Fazbear entertainment actually knew who he really was and what his eventual plans were(which was to stop his father) and the company not wanting their revolutionary animatronic creator(let’s be real, even the really old animatronics would’ve been considered revolutionary if they existed in real life and any company that had the mind behind it under their employment would more likely than not do ANYTHING to keep them under their payroll because if he went for another company that’s gonna give the business insanely tough competition) taken down did everything they could to deter Michael from succeeding(which actually would explain all the false names he kept working under, it was a lot easier to apply for a job under a false identity back in those days) I feel like that would be a very interesting thing to explore one day, Fazbear is always trying to deny or downplay what actually happened, to an extent that goes beyond just saving face for the business...
One thing I think appears to be missing: The unused Nightmare kill screen in FNAF 4, where he was supposed to send you to a scene when you died to him. This scene was entirely removed from the mfa, can it will likely never be known what it was.
Lil T, there’s an editing mistake at 26:22, Funko leaks. The audio cuts off after “Funk-“ and restarts. I know this is a 2 hour video, so it’s understandable it would be over looked. Just thought I’d let you know so you don’t have the same hiccups again. Bonus: I really enjoy this video so far, but DAMN is it LONG. I’m the kind who’s willing to watch hour long videos, especially if the topic is interesting and worth being as long as it is. This video might take me awhile to get through, but I’ll do it. I hope to see some old rumors from the old days of FNAF 1. Second Bonus- Nose Honking: This is referring to an old rumor from the days of FNAF 1, where if you honk Freddy’s nose on the poster while an animatronic is near, it would go away. Scott himself said he didn't have a story solidified in the first game so using MatPat's rule we can assume that the bite of '87 could have been rewritten to take place in '83 instead. There's already enough inconsistencies so more up to date information should probably be more trusted.
Also, the Fredbear and friends TV show existed before Fazbear Entertainment was founded, so maybe 1983 is just the date from the shows release, so Fredbear biting The CC could be the bite of 87
@@Gravity_studioss it can't though because phone guy says fredbear's diner has been closed for years before fnaf 2.
Well yes, but
1. Fredbear's was closed during 1987 and for many years beforehand as confirmed by Phone Guy
2. A yellow suit is mentioned by Phone Guy on Night 6 of FNAF 2, meaning both Fredbear and Springbonnie were discontinued
3. Animatronics could walk around in the day during FNAF 2, so the Bite of 87 probably took place at the FNAF 2 location during the final birthday party after Night 6, likely caused by either Toy Chica or Mangle.

just a thought on Foxy's two hands, often when 3D models are made they're done on a sort of mirror mode and edited with asymmetrical details later. It could be his hook just wasn't added yet.
I'm surprised that the pizzeria coordinate incident wasn't mentioned, I don't really recall the incident vividly but I'll tell you what I know
I remember Scott posted an image on his website and when people inspected the image people found numbers consisting of 87s and 83s (I forgot how it works), well some people put in the numbers as coordinates, and actually found a pizzeria, so when word went out people were constantly calling the pizzeria asking questions about fnaf. the thing is, is the the image inspect numbers were just a little reference between the dates 1987 and 1983, and were not at all meant to be coordinates, it was just a funny coincidence.

I guess it doesn't matter TOO too much.
late reply but, isnt a marrionette just a puppet but in french?
Unrelated, but the reason muppets are called, well, muppets, is because they're a combination of both marionettes and puppets; they use both strings and hands to function. So marionette + puppet = muppet
@@LunaQuipo That is true, yes. Despite that, they're still two different things, for the most part.

46:01 Is that not a somewhat deformed Froggit from Undertale? It almost looks like it's crying, too.
this iceberg has potential. however, whoever put together the iceberg seems to not understand how to structure an iceberg...
the whole POINT of the iceberg format is to sort the items, common knowledge being towards the top layers, and as you go down you get the more obscure knowledge.
Would be cool to see it get a reorganization remake, but that would probably take a decent amount of work
i thought it was well organized if its based on perceived popularity of each lore theory/easter egg/creator fact/fandom creations, but if we’re going by how an iceberg should be made, then yeah the real suspense wouldve been darker facts at the bottom lmao

the fact that fnaf turned into a kid's franchise will never not feel weird. a franchise about a man who murders children and shoves their corpses inside of robots, and now there's toys from it in every store, meant for young children. i'm not saying it doesn't make sense, kids like things that they aren't supposed to like, which is why horror has always been really popular with them, but it's still such a strange situation

Not to be that guy, but the Gravity Falls episode came before DDLC, and even a week before FNAF 1. So they didn't rip off anything.
@@yurifromddlc then it was a foreshadowing 😁
William Afton: I will come back
Spring trap: I always come back
Scraptrap: I might not come back
Glitchtrap: I'm not even Afton
Burnt trap: I came back
I am so ready for this premier. I already gave it a like because I've seen all of the other layers & i'm glad that you did the director's cut.

I just hope we don't have another Projared situation in our hands
have i really spend over 4 hours watching fnaf videos today?
ofc
would i do it again?
*absolutely*
ive just stumbled upon your channel and honestly, keep up the work, this video was executed so well
23:10 SL underneath FNAF 4 he says 1987 but on the screen it is 1983.
Mandopony was my literal childhood what do y'all mean he did such things??? Bye I'm giving up my faith in humanity
I loved Mandopony I don't believe all those things they say he did I lost faith in humanity as well...
Wait what happened with mandopony?

My two cents with the "cancelled" FNaF ride: I wouldn't say it is canned, just no one has picked it up. Basically, they announced the ride for potential buyers to put in parks. I'm guessing no park has yet to take up on the offer. Other than that, good video. Going through this really brought nostalgia to me.
EDIT: Going back to the "Chris" section. Oh boy, the nostalgia hit me hard. The animator was one of my early art inspirations.
I feel like the shooting at the Chuck E. Cheese in Aurora shouldn't be on the ocean floor, as MatPat explained it, like you said.
The Plushtrap prize jumpscare is broken in the Switch port of Help Wanted: it doesn't count the stage as complete, and you need to beat it again (it really screwed me up, when I finally beat Night 5 of FNAF 1, which I struggled with, and lost it to Plushtrap)

I can answer this.
Could be hint or lead to why he turned into scraptrap.
kinda interesting at you guys said you don't think people care about fnaf 4, I see people saying it's the best one all the time, whenever I see someone asking for people to list their favourites it's usually top three alongside fnaf1 and fnaf2
amazing video btw! it was so fun to watch, I usually have iceberg videos in the background as I do stuff but this one was so good I just sat down to watch it with full attention, well done :)))
fascinating dude! I admired you taking the time and effort to explore and explain about this amazing franchise!
Much appreciated, glad you enjoyed it!
Coming from someone living in CO, the 1993 Aurora Shooting was a disturbing event to hear from my now 63 year old mother. I'm 14 and a freshman in high school. This story always makes me shiver..
So sorry that I have unfortunately reminded you.
@@AverageT Hey, don't worry about it. I haven't heard the story since the time she told me until now. My bestfriend wanted to go to a Chuck E Cheese to see if anything would happen, but I told him it was a bad idea. Long story short, we didn't go. But really, it's okay. Today has just been a rough day today. Love your content and much love to you, homie ❤
@@raetheanarchist Thank you, very much appreciate it.
As someone who knows this stuff thoroughly:
- Mangle was likely intended to be a male during lore and dialogue writing.
Appreciate all the corrections! 😊
Do you have inside knowledge for the games or something?
" but there's too many to name and I'd like to keep these to myself due to the fact that a large majority of these haven't been discovered yet." ??????????? what are they then I'm sure there's tons of other people who don't have platforms to share them found them. Please share I would actually love to know I love consistency mistakes.
Not reading all that but all I know is Mangle is transgender

Amazing video my friend thanks for it!
After the discussion about the following timelines between FNAF 1 and SL, here's the real theoretically timeline:
- FNAF 4
- FNAF 2
- FNAF 1
- FNAF Sister Location
- FNAF 3
- Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator
- Ultimate Custom Night
- FNAF Help Wanted
- FNAF Security Breach
And of course the non canon games are:
- FNAF World
- FNAF AR: Special Delivery (But there's theories, that Fazbear Entertainment earned good money with this game alongside Help Wanted, so they could build the Security Breach mall, AR has no story or something)
I actually thought, Sister Location is before FNAF 4 (because of the Baby Minigame for example, but that minigame is just a flashback, of what happened, shortly before FNAF 4)
its funny how this is almost as long as an average disney movie
Though this does open the question of whether Fazbear entertainment actually knew who he really was and what his eventual plans were(which was to stop his father) and the company not wanting their revolutionary animatronic creator(let’s be real, even the really old animatronics would’ve been considered revolutionary if they existed in real life and any company that had the mind behind it under their employment would more likely than not do ANYTHING to keep them under their payroll because if he went for another company that’s gonna give the business insanely tough competition) taken down did everything they could to deter Michael from succeeding(which actually would explain all the false names he kept working under, it was a lot easier to apply for a job under a false identity back in those days)
I feel like that would be a very interesting thing to explore one day, Fazbear is always trying to deny or downplay what actually happened, to an extent that goes beyond just saving face for the business...
One thing I think appears to be missing:
The unused Nightmare kill screen in FNAF 4, where he was supposed to send you to a scene when you died to him. This scene was entirely removed from the mfa, can it will likely never be known what it was.
*and it will
Lil T, there’s an editing mistake at 26:22, Funko leaks.
This is obviously not true, but I’ve seen someone do it back in the day. I can’t remember where it was from, but I knew they were just doing a let’s play, and they were panicking, spam honking the animatronics away.
Haha, glad you are enjoying the video. Yes I’m aware of the Funko editing mistake. I’m normally up late editing these videos with a lot of failed exports and I honestly don’t think I noticed it while being so tired. Thanks for the tidbit on the nose honk.

1:41:00 Chica’s eye isn’t missing. If you look closely at the left edge of her eye socket, you can see it’s still there. It’s probably something to do with the lighting
