Her mother died trying to get her to a bunker that had survivors and supplies, only to discover it devoid of people and food. And look at all the shit Simon had to go through just to get some soup for her.

Then how come Finn And Jake have their place stocked with food, and so many other residents of Ooo have access to fruits and vegetables? I think Simon went through hell getting her soup was more or less to show how bad things were not too long after the war, and to show he'd literally risk his sanity for her. We see her later as a teenager hunting vampires in a more modern Ooo so it's safe to assume until she turned she didn't have a hard time finding food.

I think another thing that probably affected Finns loss of memory of pillow world was his insecurity/uncertainty about him and Flame Princess’s relationship. in the beginning of the episode he tells Jake hes upset that FP didnt get his joke and he started saying stuff like “maybe its over between us” after Finn gets out of the pillow world he was about to tell Jake what happened while he was there (showing he remembered everything?) but hes interrupted by a call from FP where she tells Finn that she just now got the joke Finn told her and after this happens Finn completely forgets about his time in pillow world

Honestly, I hate the "(insert character) is in a coma" theories cause it seems like it shows up in EVERY tv show/movie that isn't set in a "realistic" setting. Pokemon (and some are apparently reviving that with the new protag Liko), The Simpsons, The Walking Dead, Harry Potter, Coraline, etc. They are the LEAST fun theory a person could make about a show.
And we know those theories only exist because some people can't handle fiction and have to pretend it's all actually a documentary about some random person's dreams.
God this show is just amazing. From such a childish show evolving with its audience to become easily one of the greatest stories in recent TV history. The people who worked on this show absolutely loved their work and it shows so clearly.

Princess Bubblegum just said good bye to Cinnamon Bun, and the next scene starts with CB talking to 2 of his left behind friends from the Candy Kingdom. One of which is Crunchy, a.k.a. Cousin Chicle! (Possibly spelled wrong, please forgive any misspelling and typos) Cousin Chicle is questioned by CB: “Crunchy, still chewing that same piece of gum?” From the nightmare juice in “Come Along with Me,” we know the candified people struck with dumbdumb juice still retain their higher thought function throughout the hundreds of years. Cousin Chicle was expressing his frustration and anger by CHEWING ON A PIECE OF GUM!!!! It doesn’t appear to have a face, but it does have a small bit of a smile. This is at the 2:10 mark on the Hulu version of the show (not sure if time stamps shift). That is some of the most epic foreshadowing (or cool accident) I’ve ever stumbled across. And if anyone else has already posted about it, I found it by accident today while watching the show as background noise. I didn’t research it, I decided to add it to the comments here so others could discuss the thought inspired by this awesome video! In Fionna and Cake we see that Golbetty is in the same black void as Golb, but that the universes are surrounding her. So I think it is Finn going between worlds from one side of Golb to another

I think Martin’s brain damage theory stands, because even though he was always an asshole, he cared for Finn as a baby. I mean he settled down and everything and was trying to do everything to protect Finn with the break in, but when he comes across Finn later in life he really just does not care at all and seems uninterested in him. when i first started watching the video i found you very charming! finally a cheery iceberg reader, like you actually Care and Want to make the video, you raised the bar, unlike most iceberg readers which sound like they're not trying at all to make it interesting, like they hate reading, or just have a naturally annoying voice. ur friend fell into the first two which luckily are ez to improve with a little more intonation. don't pay me too much mind though, because as long as the content of the video is interesting it's still watchable. it's just so much nicer to hear

As I said pretty weird and far fetched but I think it makes sense.

I think Martin’s brain damage theory stands, because even though he was always an asshole, he cared for Finn as a baby. I mean he settled down and everything and was trying to do everything to protect Finn with the break in, but when he comes across Finn later in life he really just does not care at all and seems uninterested in him. I was confused when i first watched it, I wasn’t sure if he was actually his dad because of how Martin acted

when i first started watching the video i found you very charming! finally a cheery iceberg reader, like you actually Care and Want to make the video, you raised the bar, unlike most iceberg readers which sound like they're not trying at all to make it interesting, like they hate reading, or just have a naturally annoying voice. ur friend fell into the first two which luckily are ez to improve with a little more intonation.
don't pay me too much mind though, because as long as the content of the video is interesting it's still watchable. it's just so much nicer to hear

i’m at 21:57 right now and just wanna say i don’t know if it counts as an official game, but when i was younger there was a flash game on girlsgogames called adventure time princess dress up, and basically you make your own princess with a physical base similar to princess bubblegums. once again i might be wrong since i don’t know if it’s an official or fanmade flash game but i hope i could add something to the list :)
