- One of my all time favourite Jewfish bait is Pike. In this video I will show you where and how I catch my Pike inshore and offshore. I hope this helps and good luck with your Jewie hunting.

Rapala xr6 in silver or green good pike lure too. I also use to catch heaps of pike under bridge lights flicking unweighted whitebait on long shank hook.

Hi @Shannons. Do u have the marks for bait out jumpinpin bar? Sometimes chasing kingfish NE 80m, crossing pin bar is near if have live bait ❤
Try the Dragon just off the Pin bar. A good spot for bait, Jew and Cobia.

Hi Shannon, I requested the pike video 😀 Thank you so much. I headed out last night and got 2 Jews (110cm each) one was on pike. Just like what you video says, I've been catching pike when floating for snapper at night. Thanks again!

Another great video Shannon - thanks mate. About what speed do you suggest for trolling those small lures around the weed banks?
Very slow mate, Just in gear and if you have a fast idling engine put the engine in and out of gear. Good luck David.
@@Aussie-Fishing Perfect thanks mate. An idea for some videos - how you would make use of.....first light inshore, hours in the Broadwater, 2 hours after work on the seawall, half day offshore, etc obviously depends on time of year, conditions, etc but wonder if you have some routines?

Hi Shannons, I have trouble jigging lives. Fish finder shows lots of action, but when i drop my sabiki rig right down to the bottom I find it really difficult to have any bites... whats going wrong
I have a video on how to catch live bait offshore being released this Wednesday 29/6/22. If that video does not help let me know and we will see if we can work out whats going wrong then. Shannon.

I have only ever caught pike at night and never during the day
I wonder what others' experience is with that on thee GC
Give these tips a try mate, they work very well at day over the grass banks at high water.
Caught them off the rocks in the daytime.
