      @@janzlim7124 Hi mate, The last video in this series is on how and where to troll live baits. I do a quick spill on Mackerel and a few other species but not Wahoo that will be a video in its self closer to the season. I hope you enjoy it.

    Hey Shannon, Always great vids mate 👍 went out today, there were massive bait schools on the sounder everywhere but it seemed no one could get the livies to hit the jigs? do you have any tips/tricks to help when the bait doesnt want to bite?

    • @Aussie-Fishing
      @Aussie-Fishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, Sometimes a little bait on the jig helps and if that doesn't work tie on a small sinker so the bait jig floats down through the water coloum slowly with a small twitch occasionally. If this doesn't work leave and find another bait school.
      Good luck mate.

    Thanks Shannon - are there any differences in gear/technique/likely success when catching bait in dark (eg before sun up)? Thanks!

    • @Aussie-Fishing
      @Aussie-Fishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The gear stays the same mate the only difference for catching Yakkas at dark is you will need an underwater light to bring the bait up. Green or White are the best colours for this. The light does not always work, sometimes it is easier to catch Pike out on the shallow reefs (16 to 18 fathoms) at dark. I have a video being released on the 4 August for catching Pike offshore at night. Good luck David.

    Does a UV light on a sabiki rig work before sunrise?

    • @Aussie-Fishing
      @Aussie-Fishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No mate unfortunately not. If you want to catch bait before sunrise you will need a green underwater light to bring the bait up. Good luck mate.
